  1. Keep up the narrative so you can eat some crow like you did today. In the gauntlet drill at the NFL Combine, Coleman reached a top speed of 20.36 miles per hour – the fastest speed by a receiver over the last two seasons. "The 40 is no longer the most effective way to determine a player's speed," wrote ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques earlier this year. "The value it once had to teams has diminished in its 80-year existence, as clubs turn toward other means – such as GPS tracking and analytical data – to fully understand how fast a player can move in football specific situations." Despite the 40 time, Beane is confident that the wideout has plenty of speed. "He's a guy whose got play speed, he's got short-area quickness for a big guy," Beane said. "We all know, some guys, they can run the track time, but that's where the mental part comes into it, too. I always say if you run 4.3 but you're not smart, you'll never play 4.3."
  2. SF without their #1 RB and top 3 WR’s.
  3. Agree with all of this - which makes me think if we can’t get it done, Brady IS the problem.
  4. I have seen the “Cooper is losing a step” comment quite a bit. I’m assuming DeVonte Adam’s has lost even a bit more given he’s a year older, yet I don’t see that narrative attached to him. What’s up with that? Happy we got the younger, cheaper WR.
  5. Have seen this kid in person at MSU a couple times - he can absolutely bomb it! I did a double take when I saw him punt the hell out of the ball….and he kept bombing punts and had a 40+ yd kick as well. Go Cats Go!
  6. “Licking his thick sausage fingers” 😂
  7. Bills need a DT. Hence Beane grabbing Zion Logue off the practice squad. Hopefully he can snag one prior to trade deadline. We are almost last in run D. We don’t need a WR as Cooper will make all of our WR’s better by opening things up just being on the field. I believe he was/is just as good as Diggs but had mediocre to terrible QB’s throwing him the ball. DE, Safety would be nice, but not the glaring need DT is. We’re getting Von back and h’e looked great. Bishop and/or Edward’s have the ceiling to improve.
  8. Beanie and/or his scouts are not the best at drafting WR’s and DE’s. Need to get lucky next draft.
  9. Probably been mentioned, but ancillary benefit of having Cooper/seasoned vet who has played in multiple divisions - he knows other teams secondaries and specific players. He will be able to pass that knowledge to our young WR’s and make the WR room better as a whole.
  10. Did Baller Beane believe a good WR would shake out prior to trade deadline, thus just drafting one? 🤔
  11. Agreed. Beane doesn’t have the best track record with WR’s. His best is Diggs, but after that, a loooong list of duds. Cooper is gonna be a stud for us I believe.
  12. No it’s not. You don’t even know if the 3rd round pick was going to be any good. Allen is in his prime. We already have a rookie WR getting up to speed.
  13. And you know who didn’t get him - Chiefs!!!! (Might be why we shipped a 3rd).
  14. No playoffs in 2024 but we get a new coach, stud WR for 2025. Woulda you do it?
  15. Not a drop. Great D. yeah, and Bass is terrible.
  16. Weren’t we running the ball well?
  17. Unfortunately, they stopped themselves. Shoulda caught that.
  18. Colemans breakout game tonight!!!!
  19. I think we’d be SB bound with this move.
  20. Take a look at the work of Captains for Clean Water and you’ll see a great explanation of water quality issues in FL. The big sugar industry, over development, and golf courses are some of the main culprits. They are making some huge progress and politics aside, DeSantis and his wife have been big drivers - and the Federlal Government $. The Keys are already seeing some positive impacts - but a long, long way to go. Humans just abuse the cr@p out of the environment.
  21. In Bradenton/Cortez directly on Sarasota Bay. Made it through Helene with some damage but could have been way worse - and many of our neighbors with older homes at ground level, did not fare well. Not there now obviously but headed down as soon as it’s safe. Any Bills fans in that area who need anything, drop me a DM - bringing down a truck load of supplies.
  22. My dream is we fire McDermott and convince Bill Belicheck to go on a revenge tour with our Bills.
