There are lots of moving parts to a gameplan but none of it will work unless we get hurries and pressures w four because Joe and his 3 WR's will kill us on most blitzes. Seems like Lamar is really a standup guy though, and I don't think he gets enough credit for his character and desire to win. He got paid 23M bucks this year to play like a dozen games, its not like making $2M a game is being drastically underpaid. They say it was a 4-6 weeker and he's at 4. He wouldn't fold up his tent and go home with all the guys that he loves wanting him to play, (and make another $46,500 per player if they advance, which is 10% of some players salaries) I believe the guy, he just cant be a good qb if he can't move well and he's still too injured to pull this off.

The funny thing is there is a pretty likely chance Cinci Bills will play in 2 weeks, they should have just waited for the rematch and all would be well.

If you really think about that route, its one you might never see again, a deep cross/comeback/go route. Only a mobile qb can give a receiver the 5+ seconds it takes to pull that one off. The ability to buy 2 extra seconds for your targets to separate once in awhile has been the difference between a win and a loss for us several times. A lot of time defenses against Josh have a spy whose job is to take away that throw. It's probably the only thing you can really do as a spy without losing contain on #17, take away the short middle or tip the intermediate middle.

The Chargers could have hired Daboll, instead Staley somehow convinced them he would be a good head coach. In my opinion this guy is currently THE worst coach in the league. I don't think his players trust him either. He has proven to be a weak game coach, and is tied for Belichick for the low energy award. Think about this guys roster, he has an elite QB, Ekeler is a top 5 RB, very good receivers and tons of talent on defense including Derwin, Bosa etc. If they hired Daboll, who wanted the job, they'd be right in there at the top of the power rankings. Not surprised this clown threw the oft injured Bosa AND Williams in a meaningless game despite both these guys needing rest badly battling injuries all year. exactly. The film will show Josh n Dorsey some wide open underneath throws to Cook. These are high completion throws that Cook can turn into big gains. If you take away the picks and the Hines TD's today, Dorsey called a lukewarm game. The Hurst play was cheap but refs cant watch every block, they DO have a dedicated ref to watch late/low or otherwise illegal hits on the QB's though. You'd think the organization would have learned from Burfict and how he got their entire team labeled as thugs over the years with disgusting plays like that just intending to hurt. The only solution is the league has to allow challenges on unnecessary roughness plays that don't get called. Put the onus on the teams to watch their own guys from the booths and be able to have NY refs take a quick look and call penalties for stuff like that. My son and I went to the Miami game this year and the fans there were awesome to us. Granted there were just as many Bills fans in the stadium but they were really fun and with the exception of a few dopes that were drunk and yelling Fbombs in front of little kids when the game ended on that final missed throw to McKenzie in the endzone, they were good hosts. I caught a Miami football in the stands and gave it to a little Dolphins fan maybe 6 years old, which made his day (I was wearing a Diggs Tshirt on my head because it was 500 degrees). A lot of Fins fans saw me do it, so for what it's worth they saw the good side of the Mafia. The other thing about Miami is they really do start chanting and yelling when their team has the ball which is strange.

From day 1 McD's interviews have been a total waste of time. He says nothing but typical monotone boring blah blah coachspeak, but in fairness to him its what he says to the players that really matters and he's pretty good in that regard. When Beane is interviewed he tends to be more interesting, insightful, forthcoming, charismatic. I always tune into Beaners interviews but honestly I skip every postgame or pregame McD presser because there's simply no content. His inability to explain the 13 seconds was classic McD, at a time when he owed this fanbase an explanation he didnt have the ability to do it which was maddening because we had a clear path to the superbowl and he blew it.

This exact same play was the reason we lost the 1st game to Miami. Deep cross wide open Waddle. I was at the Florida game and remember saying theres no way Poyer/Hyde wouldve blown that coverage, then the exact same play hits us again at home w Poyer on the field. Montgomery is a beast at RB, better than Mostert who just chewed us up pretty good. We will see a lot of that guy on Saturday, but overall they're just not a very good squad this year.
