I say the cheapest and easiest way is to call DTV and tell them you've moved back to your winter home in Buffalo now, and brought your receiver with you and you'd like to begin getting your beloved Buffalo local channels again. They'll transfer you to the Dish Movers Department, you should probably ask for that department first because the reps at DTV are complete idiots. Tell them you brought your dish with you and installed it on your roof (they'll ask to send out a tech or an installer, just tell them it's all done and there's no need). Use someone's address in the 716 that you know doesn't have DTV. This will be your INSTALL address and will give you full local Buffalo channels. As far as DTV knows (or cares) this is where you live until further notice. Tell them you still want your Long Island home to be the billing address, so nothing changes there. Make sure you're in front of the TV because the rep will send down a new signal for the receiver and it helps if you're watching the TV so you can confirm that the switch is made. Done. Now you get local Buffalo channels (and Ad's which will be funny when your Long Island Buddies ask you why they've never heard of ECMC) You don't have to stream, you can record everything on your Genie and you get all Bills games, including pre and post game coverage if it's on local TV. It'll be just like you lived back home. After the season if you get sick of seeing West Herr Ford commercials you can call the dish movers department and tell them you've moved back to your Long Island Lair and would like local channels reset to reflect that area. I've used this system many times in the old days to get blacked out games here in Rochester. I'd call in an install address outside the blackout zone for the season and get all the games. Don't wait until game day to do this because there can be big waits on the phone on weekends.

Rookie linemen on both sides of the ball take awhile to get rolling. Ed is way ahead of Cody at this point. The thing about Ed that's surprised me is his power. In college it seemed his strength was how quickly he fired out of his stance and split defenders, which really is his main objective as the 3 tech here, but he's shown way more power and bullrush for a guy giving up 40-50 lbs to the guard blocking him than I expected. Pro qb's are way better at cadence and fooling dLines with their hard counts etc. than in college. When Ed gets better at timing snaps he's going to really shine. What a perfect pick for this team on and off the field.

I say let the Motor sit regardless of how he feels. It's a hammy and it's some level of tear. Could be a simple grade 1 but why mess around with it? Keep giving him treatment and shoot for the Patriots game. We have two good runners who can pass protect and hammer the ball north and south. We're home against the Bengals as heavy faves playing a defense who just gave up 500 yards two days ago to the freakin niners. They don't have Mixon or AJ on offense. I see zero wisdom in risking any further issues with the kid. If you rush hammies they can nag you all year. Also, as much as I love the kid, most of his success thus far has been from the space provided by some excellent blocking by TE's and the big uglies. He's had some Emmitt Smith type holes to work with.

The Bills added their 11th and final member of their initial 2019 practice squad on two weeks ago, signing free agent RB Byron Marshall. Marshall, 25, was just released by the Washington Redskins on Sunday. He appeared in 10 games over the past two seasons for Washington logging 12 carries for 41 yards and 10 receptions for 66 yards. Originally an undrafted rookie signing of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016, Marshall (5-9, 215) was on the Eagles practice squad in 2016, but was elevated to the active roster and appeared in three games for Philadelphia that year. The University of Oregon product had over 3,000 total yards from scrimmage in his college career (3,170) along with 27 touchdowns. He had a 1,000-yard rushing season as a sophomore, and then a 1,000-yard receiving season as a junior. The addition of Marshall gives Buffalo a back capable of being elevated to the active roster in the event of an injury. RB Christian Wade is on the Bills practice squad, but carries an international player designation and because the people who run this league are morons, he can't play for us at all this year. Genius rule whoever threw that one in.... "hey lets get international athletes in the mix, we'll even give you an extra practice squad spot for 'em, but even if you get decimated with injuries and you'd like to activate them, well.....you know....haha, that'd just be silly to actually let them play. So lets make a rule that they can't play at all for at least a few games..... wait no, how about a whole month. Yeah they can't play for a whole month. Wait what's that Roger? A whole SEASON? Dude yeah let's tell em they're benched for the whole SEASON. hahahahaha it's perfect ! "

Jim Rome: The New Kings of New York
Da webster guy replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rome, like all radio shows, vary a lot in their quality, not just day to day but topic to topic even. Rome has had me cracking up many times, though I never listen to him anymore. Schopp is another example, if he's in a good mood and doesn't get weird he can be enjoyable, Bulldog is more consistent. Some shows are great and some I can't tolerate at all. Ton of variation in radio. -
MNF -Cleveland Browns @ New Jersey Jets
Da webster guy replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no mosley no QW no Darnold That's the same team that won 4 games last year WITH a healthy Sam at qb. LeVeon is who we thought he was. Average with 8 men in the box, and Trevor isn't scaring anyone. I see Browns winning by 10. Spread is 6.5 -
Bills vs. Patriots whose defense is better
Da webster guy replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah too early to tell. I'd say the defenses are roughly at the same level. Their Dline does that illegal and cheesy move invented by none other than Belicheat himself where the Dline calls out something that sounds like "hut" right about when they think the ball is being snapped, and they claim it's a call to adjust their coverages or Dlinemen but it's to get the Olinemen to move. The Giants got us twice on it yesterday, Dawk was one of them and I think Cody got the other flag. It's called simulating the snap count, and referees can flag the defense for it but they have to hear it, which hopefully they will at New Era. In a home stadium they can't hear anything on the field on defense. The league should put an end to it by prohibiting defensive line calls within 5 seconds of the play clock running down or something. It's not like they actually have time to adjust or move anybody at that point, it's blatant cheating and as usual the league will have to do something about it when a huge playoff game gets decided by a stupid penalty again. Bill started it against the Ravens in that playoff game where they were also doing those illegal substitutions (the one where Harbaugh lost his mind). The league changed the rule on substitution rule because of the Pats after that game when they were reporting a RB as ineligible but lining him up outside the tackle box. God I hate that team. Why can't they just trust their coaches and players to go out and compete and win fair and square without all the bulls*it rule bending. -
Is Singletary Daboll’s secret weapon?
Da webster guy replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's had excellent blocking on most of his runs. He hasn't had to do much juking or making guys miss, its been his vision that's been outstanding to me. Thankfully he ran a lousy 4.6 at the combine or this kid would've been gone well before we drafted him. -
You say Josh is doing better, but EVERYBODY is doing better? Uh no. Lots of players and teams are doing worse. Guys that have had MVP type seasons are struggling (Cam, Wentz, Ben, Goff). Its a strange year so far. Hopefully our Oline levels off and gets consistent, its the key to our season. These guys have talent, not sure about either one of our tackles right now. Keep it goin Bills !

Cody Ford was bad - again & again he was while at RT
Da webster guy replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eric Wood was saying its a big change to switch a guy from right side to left side (guard or tackle). Ford has talent but needs technique refinement on speed rushers. If he were a 7th round pick we arent even having this discussion, he'd be a developmental player. -
That was vicious. The LB was not expecting Frank to have that much power, I thought he broke the defenders collarbone with the crown of his helmet.

AB will not be on exempt list per shefty
Da webster guy replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah if he's gonna be a Patriot he needs to get the team tattoo that says "I'M THE VICTIM here" -
The real potential BIG Problem for DTV and Football
Da webster guy replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That will be the way it eventually goes. There are tons of middlemen that really do nothing but buy a program and sell it the public. Its the ol' Jewish business model and its been around a long time, but there's no need for it in the same way there's no need for record labels anymore. If you produce content, the public pays you for it when they want it. You're seeing credit card merchant processing companies starting to shrink for this same reason as the direct pay and ACH products are gaining by the day. Ticketmaster and their gouging is going to fall soon as well, because they don't add value, they just mark up and force to pay because of a contract they negotiated with providers. Nothing is more fair and streamlined than a simple pay per view system. Eventually it will rise to the top. -
craigslist on the day before the game or the morning of works for me. just be sure to use paypal to cover yourself. Money transfer apps like Zelle are a no-no. If you watch the online sites like stubhub they'll be dumping tickets up until gametime. Your best option, which you've already done, is to create this post where thousands of ticket holders are. Somebody will surely step up for a guy with a couple thousand posts here (anyone....? anyone.....? bueller.....? )

And sent their other two top players Mosley and QW to the bench. #BigBadBillsAreBack

Pats can keep their rings; I'll take the Bills
Da webster guy replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, they're like the sketchy guy with the big house at the end of your street that nobody ever visits because he has no personality. The other thing is, the Patriots have no choice but to embrace the "Us against the world" because while everyone respects their QB and his amazing NFL run, the rest of the organization is a joke. They've been penalized multiple first round draft picks in recent years for doing things the wrong way, and they will never learn. I'm still convinced Kraft sees himself as the victim in the hooker sting. And now watch the Pats squirm out of the new rape allegations and try to hide the tampering with AB. -
Zay Jones blocking ability - I’m impressed

seven TD's last year with a rookie qb, weak running game and not much of an Oline. -
Brown/Beasley/Singletary and the Passing Game
Da webster guy replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was his 12th game as a pro and he didn't exactly come from a college program who played top notch talent every week. So that's encouraging. As far as I'm concerned, two deflected passes aren't INT's, it's the bad throws that were should-be-picks that should be the focus of this week's film study for Josh and Dorsey. That designed run on 4th down where Josh went left and untouched out of bounds to move the chains was a thing of beauty. Daboll gets an A for designing, coaching and calling that play at the perfect time. Jets were clueless. Those are crowd killers too, not that NY had much crowd impact anyway. Was nice to see Josh outplay Darnold and Ed outplay QW. -
Henry Anderson cheap shot. UNREAL

Feliciano is a beast! Watch
Da webster guy replied to MtlBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they're forcing Cody Ford into a lineup where he's not ready to start yet. Feliciano is a better guard and Ty is a better RT. Rotating in a rookie on a defensive line or at a skill position makes sense, but playing an Olineman because he was drafted high can upset your Oline continuity, chemistry and get your QB killed. I'd say bring him in as the 6th Olineman on short power runs but the way Lee Smith blocked Sunday i'd rather have Lee in there (basically holds every time but is really good at not getting flagged. So far)
