  1. While "everyone" was raving about him here, yes, the flags were flying. Perhaps Pats have taught him how to finesse it.
  2. Fans are the worst, everyone cheats, Brady's an ass, Kraft is actually oriental etc. etc. etc. Next thing we'll hear is the Tea Party was a fake.
  3. It may go back to when Buffalo was in the old All-America conference. George Ratterman was our quarterback, in the late '40s.
  4. It's a hard concept because the Bills may not practice it much. Or Dabol doesn't know how to teach it, which would be a real indictment. Other teams destroy us on screens and we never use them. Other teams benefit from their running backs catching passes in the open and chewing up yardage. What do we do, the same thing game after game: rarely pass on first or second down, when a play works well, not go back to it, attempt to make Gore an outside runner when he can no longer even run inside, etc. etc. etc. We're totally predictable and easy to defend. That's on Daboll and ultimately on Mac for allowing it to continue. In the playoffs, you need to score more than 17 points a game.
  5. That's bull something. Never be satisfied and complacent. Ask a guy named Belichick.
  6. What do need an offensive weapon for? Least one forget, we win by defense, even if they're on the field most of the game.
  7. What's perhaps more important than who plays is that we use this game to try and work on some things we rarely, if ever, use or do, such as screen passes, throws to running backs, passing on first and/or second down, and generally being less predictable. But given the mindset of our coaching staff, that's all likely a pipe dream. It would also be wise to get Barkley and guys like Yeldon and Williams some work, and rest anyone who's banged up.
  8. Brady has always been great at getting the ball away quickly. When you give him all day, and tackle poorly the entire game, you're in deep trouble.
  9. This! And he still can't get himself to throw the ball away when there's nothing there or he's under duress.
  10. So analysis and thinking are a waste of time for anyone with a stake in something, like dedicated fans? Tell that to a coach who wants to retain his/her job or a voter that wants to make an educated decision.
  11. If you barely attempt to use someone, yes, they're a non-factor.
  12. Good post. The last thing we have is a killer instinct. If we did, the coaches would go back to things that worked, such as passing on first and/or second down, and become totally unpredictable. Coaches like Belichick "eat your lunch" when you don't KEEP them guessing.
  13. He doesn't need more training; he needs to be replaced.
  14. Our DL rarely tackles. Today was a perfect example. That's quite wearing on the linebackers and secondary.
