  1. What's great with Hughes and basically ALL the players on that video is that they look legit pissed or dejected. None look aloof or "it ain't so bad and I still get paid". And that's good, very good! Now Daboll, do better damn it.
  2. Plausible indeed but the Bills would never say it as they would be penalized for not disclosing Allen's injury
  3. If he misses 6 games it's bad enough. If it's some of 2019 too, damn! Really, really awful. It looked so mundane as fro as NFL contacts go.
  4. People forget dropped passes and schemes too easily... Also in shootout type of games, offenses get the ball more than in ball control type games And I wonder for my sanity why I even bother. You don't judge a player like Allen in 5 games. Edit: watching the game last night, I was something shocked at how wide some receivers were opened. On both teams. For the Cheatriots too on SNF too. And I recall slow guys like O'Reilly being wide open at times and other receivers too. Why? SCHEMES, the overall playcalling.
  5. That Allen is 4th of the 4 rookie QBs or on par with them, it's close enough. And I, personally, have mostly a good felling about him. Add very suspect gameplanning and schemes, no QB coach (maybe now Anderson will be one of sorts), WRs that really dont help at all, very few deep throws which could be his strong point, slightly below average OLine (no I didn't say bad or worse), tough defenses so far, only 5 games. Give the kid a chance you downers! He might not pan out but again, no clear indication of that so far.
  6. Rushed by Watt. Going backward threw to sideline for no gain. Showed his arm strength but not a great decision, should have just thrown it away. It was one of the best pass for zero yards I've seen LOL
  7. Slight exaggeration but damn we see so much creative stuff that can EASILY BE COPIED. And basic like sweeps and all that can be added more. Baffling.
  8. Not only that. But deep in their zone with so little time to go and a suspect backup QB just thrown in the game, wouldn't it make more sense to try to RUN the clock out and go for OT? Even without the pick, they chose passes, the play before was an incomplete pass and stopped the clock. With how "unspecial" the special teams have been, try to run for a 1st down, go to OT. But yeah, and out route for Peterman, damn. The Bills QBs aren't the best but the coaches - and GM - don't help them out!
  9. Speaking of his arm talent, when will they throw another deep pass? And yes, good story with Drew. His main strength IMO is how fast he processes what he sees on the field. In close ups, you can actually see it going on.
  10. Especially when the RT doesn't line up correctly? WTF was that?
  11. He helped him get up after too. Felt partly ashamed ha ha
  12. Long hair is stupid for two positions, well 3 if some had it: RB, WR, and if it'd ever happen, QB. I was mentioning it to my sons and 5 minutes later Ivory gets pull down by the hair. For others, certainly not a "strategic advantage" but doesn't matter.
  13. What about those special teams? They were special all right... And did they save McCoy for the trade? We didn't see him enough of him, not at all
  14. Yes they suck I admit his seemingly "lack of progress" had dimmed my enthusiasm but it's only 5 games in, people are stupid. If you really are a fan of the Bills, yet you'd rather be right that Allen will be a bust instead of wanting him to success you just suck.
  15. Allen is almost ready ENOUGH for him to start and get to be NFL ready playing. No he isn't all that yet but the Bills are 2-3 with him, and his WR group is among the weakest in the league. He learns as he goes and with some motivated and good WRs, the playcalling could open up more. Hell they put a max protection set, 3 blockers against Watt, and it's then JJ had his sack in this game. Not Allen's fault nor the coaches. Watson was supposedly sooooooooooooooo hot last year. How did he look to you with a a week OLine and only Hopkins open? He outclassed Allen that much? In accuracy and throwing to the right spot at a covered Hopkins, I admit I don't see Allen doing that, but then, with enough game play and practice with a very good WR who knows? Point is Allen isn't as bad as haters say. Not good enough for sure, but showing enough to leave him in there over Anderson (and Peterman but 1% would argue otherwise).
  16. Josh might not have 250+ yard games with a kind of game plan like last week but with a few catches and breaks he could easily be over 150 yards with a similar one. And he learns a LOT more doing this than sitting on the bench or asked to do too much like versus the Packers and ending with zero points. And people that are all about draft picks fail to notice that with the cap space the Bills will able to sign some good FA if, and that's what winning this season can do, if they are an attractive place to play in!
  17. He was the best playcaller on offense. Roman had devised the plays but somehow stunk on gameday at calling the right plays at the right time.
  18. I admit it scares me at times for sure as well but from all his fumbles, has any come from this? I've never seen any so I just accept his style and go for the great ride.
  19. Because it must have been the most run heavy playcalling the Bills did. And it worked.
  20. The Bills beat them last time and made Watt a non-factor by RUNNING, a lot. Often at him too. Probably one of the most run heavy play calling the Bills did at a time when they were already run oriented. I suggest the Bills do the same! Watt and Clowney are no joke if Allen holds the ball.
  21. Out of work WRs by week 6 would take money to come here, especially a 1-2 year deal! As for Allen... if he had some good receivers he could do way more! And all in all, this is a message for the "tank the season for picks" crowd: if you show potential, free agents WILL come here. Otherwise we get second rate ones asking for top dollars. And while the 1st round picks and some 2nds ones you better pick high, all the other ones are basically crapshoots.
  22. Bills don't have the personal currently to do this. But IMO they have the QB! So one great WR and a few good ones, better OL play, and the Bills could indeed become an offensive powerhouse. At least a long pass happy version. Till then, if you can't enjoy a gutsy defense and some good run plays, maybe skip football?
  23. Ha ha. I had never equated the two. Not sure I like having extended my awareness on this, actually ha ha
  24. I still love and laugh at the chart and video. So much truth. And reading the pissed feminist comments on Youtube is good fun too.
