  1. I could feel his "haters" gloat in his 4 turnovers but most were weird flukes that won't likely happen, well not 4 in one half anyway. But then later he threw bad ones that weren't INT so it balances out. But he was good, again, with arm, feet, leadership, poise. And he led them to victory. I can't wait for some DEEP throws though. Beasly - and Daboll - have really opened up the short/medium game. I expect some deep passes galore at one point. Sweeny (#89) has caught a fairly long one for a TE and did so in the preseason games too. I was actually surprised the Jets accepted a 5 yard penalty at one point. Josh losing a down is worse for the Bills than losing 5 yards - his cannon arm makes up for that quick!
  2. Both played well yesterday... so moot point for now. It's true that Shaq seems to do more damage on the right side
  3. It's only ONE game. Before you guys start cutting players, chill out. It's OK to mention it all and "take notes" though. But you know what? I'm sure the coaches do too... Edit: in the Good, I'd add Morse. The botched 4th and 1 was him but so little snaps during preseason. In the 2nd half, he was all over the field. That dude can really run for an Olineman!
  4. I too was high fiving my kids and just pumped. And then I turn around to see the missed long pass attempt. I was really weirded out, totally confused LOL. I had to rewind and watch again... twice. Bell made a great play, period. No need to blame the tackers on that one. All the end, including the penalty... to the Jets, had me on edge.
  5. I used my lucky Bills coffee mug before the game, that's why. I had some doubts using it, as it was a gift from my ex-GF, but I still soldiered on.
  6. I thought the same too. That the Bills had bad flukes and some legit mistakes that were almost half bad lucks too. Basically. that they were the better team but playing a little confused and having not the ball roll their way. Later, they did get lucky breaks on bad passes, so Josh's stat sheet became real in a way over time. Are you really gonna blame him for that pick 6? Stats tell you so much. Anyway, I agree. There weren't sharp, and it come down to lack of execution and some weird bounces, but overall I liked what I saw in terms of POTENTIAL. It's just that we are all getting impatient and want to see that potential becoming reality. A first game of the season with so many new players might not be the best time to judge them yet, impatient doomsday fans...
  7. So the Bills got a free pick from them? Ha ha, very nice. Hey, I really didn't like Bodine's play, nope, but still wish HIM luck. But that the Pats* got zero and the Bills a pick, that's good stuff!
  8. As I was watching that game, I was telling my son about some of you guys. Hoping you were seeing it too. Cause if Allen plays like Trubinsky OR Rodgers, some of you will b*tch and moan about that bad read, those 3 inaccurate passes, the bad time management... Like somehow some of you forget players (and QBs!) don't make all the right calls and plays all the time...
  9. I wonder what's the age of the ones defending him. Millenial thought process. 'Oh I can his POV", "he's a victim", "no matter the money he's treated harshly like an employee"... You are little precious princesses, aren't you. 99.9% of players in the NFL can grind it out - and almost all for less money - but somehow that poor little diva is a 30 million victim??? You guys need a dose of real life if you think AB has it that rough!
  10. He really is class A idiot. He doesn't make the Raiders look bad, just himself. Though he does make the Steelers look damn smart ha ha.
  11. One liter of blood... that's a LOT. Was it in one go? Or maybe Gronk messes the numbers ha ha His partying affected his recovery? Did he party hard DURING the season?
  12. Can't wait for the season to start. This team seems to have such great bonds... and that is really important in football. As for Josh, man I just love the dude so I can't take no more ha ha. Last year I was going about one day just gushing love for my GF (now ex...), my kids... and him. It's that bad LOL Unlike women, you can love men (no *****) as they don't backstab you for it.
  13. Most players don't know that much,. but a QB sure does! It's not like suddenly the Bills staff will know everything and guess what the Jets O will do, but it's not like it's meaningless either. Sometimes the difference between a W or a L are just a few plays.
  14. Hell yeah. I just don't get it. If the Bills were in salary cap hell or about o sign a Clowney... sure. But they weren't. Keep him one more year! Offer a pay cut, but why? If anything, he was exciting and we watch to be entertained. Gore is old, Singleterry unproven, injuries, etc. Makes no sense. Too late now
  15. Is his dad fat? I still recall one of his last interviews while still active, said he couldn't wait to stuff himself silly and not have to train nor maintain his weight when he retired! I mean, dude was dumb but that really stuck with me for some reason LOL I really disliked him back in the day yet could respect his playing skills. Quite a character. This, so far, is a speeding ticket with some weed. Not exactly earth shattering news. I just don't understand how these players risk millions for weed though. Makes no sense.
  16. Pay the man! This way they'll be in salary cap hell for an average QB ha ha
  17. If true, AB sucks. Dude makes millions and won't even pay $7000, a lot for expenses so not even for the trainer's fees but hotels and such? Low class
  18. An NFL backup QB males waaaaayyyy more money than he could do anywhere else. So if he can extend his career one season, that's serious cash, and likely fun as hell too.
  19. Feliciano looked pretty good IMO It's kind of weird that Beane brought in "too many" OLinemen yet the injury bug has made its presence felt already! Better now than later, even though now doesn't mean later won't be there too...
  20. I just saw the 1st quarter (there is a closed thread to a 40 minute video, closed because the link supposed doesn't work... but it does) Allen supposedly had a bad outing? What? He only did 2 series and one pass was called back for a hold, and Jones dropped a TD. Not a bad drop he had the sun in his eyes, but not a bad pass either. Sure Allen threw 2 bad passes but overall I saw the usual good things out of him, and not bad for a 1st preseason game, with Beasly in the mix. You can"t really say WOW nor say he played bad. But all the good things are there, including one first down run. Oliver did look like a force out there! But again, let's slow down here LOL
  21. I actually know a therapist that "cures", well, solves concussions, quickly and pretty much permanently. He has worked with many NHL players... and me! Because of legalities, therapists and order in-fighting, he sadly can't be too public, even though he was featured a few years ago in NHL.com, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia newspapers, as well as some Quebec major TV networks. I sure wished the Bills would give him a try! But their own team therapists might see him as a threat, which is dumb, since he does NOT want to be exclusive to a pro team.
  22. So the dude was a beast as a rookie, and seriously dominant after. I mean, who thought anyone could legitimately make it so obvious to be Defensive Player of the Year over JJ Watt? He really looks like a man playing against boys at times. Yet... he was a complete no show in the Superbowl. Was he injured or Bellichick is really that much of a genius?
  23. I don't usually buy much into the "extra motivation" "chip on shoulders" "us against the world" "get respect" thing... yet really love the Tre'Davious White interview. You can feel the bond between the players, their desire to collectively stick it to the NFL and media. I love it.
  24. I know it's just for fun and all, and indeed good on him for it, but he makes it all look so effortless, like it's a 5 yard pass.
