  1. Dude ain't young yet can still play at a high level
  2. Playing Brees when up 30 points was dumb. Playing Josh and some starters a few series, not. It"s just to keep them involved all week, keep routine the same. etc. Had little to do with gameday but with everything else. Sound decision IMO.
  3. Duke was open so much he deserves to play. Sweeny looks better than Kroft but IDK about his blocking, which matters a lot for a TE.
  4. Well, it's true this game is meaningless, and coming in for the playoffs fresh matters more. Playing backups more is great for them and the team.
  5. I'm not saying the offense doesn't need improvement, we agree on that. But you basically say Beane and McD neglect the offense while 80% of their signings this year went to the offense. One year isn't enough to solve everything but we have to give credit for the determined plan and effort.
  6. Are you serious? Most of the new acquisitions this summer were on offense. Yes before it was heavily focused on the defense, but they really addressed this last summer. Is it a finished process? Of course not, it never is anyway, but 2020 is looking great with how Beane has proven to be wise so far and all the cap space he can play with.
  7. They look so sincere too ha ha. I guess the Bills had closed the W already. I've seen the Bills live 7 times and I'm 6-1. The one loss coming against the Fins on a cold December. There was a real loud drunk fish fan behind me, and yeah I did want to punch his face in at the end, no doubt ha ha. So I can totally understand their feelings, makes it sweeter
  8. You're not good at math, are you? With 10 seconds left, they had tried a 1st down pass, didn't work. On 2nd down they scored... with 1 second left. So yes, they would have had time for a 3rd play if they had missed this one as well. Thanks for playing
  9. It wend under the radar but they could have run 3 plays in those 10 seconds. Impressive to me.
  10. Indeed. It seems when the ball is thrown, they are indeed wide open. It really does seem to work more often than not. What made it better with the Bills., it's that it was Dawkins, the starting LT. Often times it's the added lineman.
  11. Edmunds is fast, covers passes pretty damn good for a MLB, and has shown to be surprisingly very good at blitzing. - which the coaches didn't send him once yesterday... But he is a liability against the run, no sugar coating it. Milano had a bad game too yesterday but he's human, and at this right spot. I too feel Edmunds might be better at OLB than MLB. For the coaching, I still don't understand why they went so vanilla. Sure you don't show all your cards, but come on now.
  12. Were they outcoached? IDK why, but they really played a simple, near vanilla defense. It was obviously on purpose but I just don't get it! It was clear as day after a quarter that they needed some blitzes to put some pressure on Brady, who was way too relaxed in there. And since it's an OC thread, the Cheats offensive plays were VERY well designed. I had no damn clue what they were going to do. So much variety, well executed. But back to the Bills, I simply don't understand why they chose to have such a simple game plan on defense!
  13. I at the same time agree, the opposing D (and coaches...) matter, his stats were good, but he threw 2 TDs, not 4. I'm a HUGE Josh supporter, and certainly remain one. But yesterday he WAS dreadfully inaccurate in the 1st half until that beautiful pass to Knox. But, besides a couple of sacks, he was never confused in there, he made all the right decisions, he just wasn't accurate. But even for him that was a bad stretch, so it is positive regardless, as it will rarely happen to that extent. I hate that his "haters" will use that 1st half as "proof" he sucks with all else he did! But no doubt it is frustrating, but I'll take that over Tyrod's extreme conservatism, guys throwing picks, QBs that can only dink & dunk, etc. Do I wish he'd not waste so many open guys? Of course! But overall his game is sound already. He's a superstar in the making and so called Bills fans vomiting all over him are so annoying.
  14. I am NOT on the fire Daboll bandwagon. But I do am baffled by the lack of screens, no TE involved in short passes (and very few to RBs too), of NOT at times tossing the ball to Singletarry instead of so often running up the gut, etc. Basically. the overall picture is good, and I do think he's using the players well, but some things are mind scratchers! IDK if it's him or McD putting the stoppers on Josh, but he's no rookie anymore, has thrown very little picks since that dreadful first game against the Cheats, let him loose! Hell, even as a rookie at least they used his legs on some key 3rd downs. No need to be THAT conservative. Though wIth a good D, it is sound ro be more conservative than what most fans want, but let Allen be free in there. He's clutch, use him!
  15. Why do so many people say that? In the pre-season, the starters didn't start more than the league average. He's never been in this position so I find it weird people assume what he'll do
  16. I still believe in moral victories... but not against the Patriots! No doubt losing to these bastards raises our frustration levels.
  17. The crowd today actually looked like a real crowd, I'll give'em that, instead of the usual jaded bloated crybabies that they can be.
  18. After a loss, expect a "fire XYZ" thread. Done.
  19. That was fine when Josh was a rookie and then a tad careless in the beginning of this year. Young QB, top notch D, you trust the D. But, since that 1sty Cheats game, Josh has sure proven he protects the ball well and he is clutch. Trust the man!
  20. They sure do. Though in t his case was it really helping them? The Bills had enough time to score for sure, whatever they did. There would have been nothing left for Brady if the Bills had scored. Still, even the ref seemed pissed off. And at least the refs called both pick plays!
  21. Yeah. Why assume he had a concussion? They never said so
  22. He did contribute on ST. But that was it...
  23. I didn't get either the no stunts, no blitzing ever, etc. I don't think they played vanilla defense, on purpose! I hope not! Like if they face them again in the playoffs, it"s not like Belichick and co don't have lots of stuff to look at...
  24. Since they had nothing to lose it was a game to let it fly. Otherwise, I'm OK with the decision. The 4th and one that pissed me off was the one gifted by the refs to the Cheats in the 1st half. McD was right not to challenge, sadly, as we "couldn't see the ball" even though it's clear as day on the replay they didn't get it. That was a 4th down play. The Bills should have had the ball!
  25. Terrible? Really? I feel they were outcoached, yes, but the margin wasn't that bad, and they were not "terrible". Josh had brutal inaccuracy until the Knox almost TD catch, and was damn good after. Yeah he did hold the ball too long but besides that he was good after he finally hit the right spots. Even in his long inaccurate phase, at least he read the defense well. He didn't connect but at least made the right decisions. But when guys are open on offense and the D misses tackles, you're going to blame the coaches? Typically Brady is good against blitzes but still, the Bills front four could not generate enough pressure, blitzes had been working the last weeks, I don't understand they did almost zero. I always foam at the mouth when Brady is barely hit.
