Now that he's retired, he should say if it was because of that. Unless he mentioned it before and I didn't notice And Greg Williams was the DC back then... how strange!

The Mind of Josh Patrick Allen
Jerome007 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I much much prefer his style (and Rodger's), but sometimes the checkdown guy can gain serious yards. Ha ha. Maybe you're right! It looked to me like he was trying to KO the guy. That ball was thrown HARD -
AJ Klein named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Klein should have won it two weeks ago and Bosa this week. I mean, I'm a homer but come on LOL Still, congrats! What I like best about him is NO hesitation when he closes in on the tackle. And so far, that hasn't made totally miss one tackling air. That will happen for sure, but still, I like that. Too many defenders are hesitant and unless they quickly get help, they are standing still. He sprints to the target. -
Daboll doesn't get enough credit for his trick plays.
Jerome007 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh never throwing a INT so far in the red zone, his running ability, TE catching passes, trick plays... yep. nightmarish indeed he he I actually thought the same: Daboll not getting enough credit for the trick plays. Most of them produce TDs too! It reminds me when putting JJ Watt on offense was looked as a gimmick when he scored a TD almost every time! Results matter. -
Don't make me or anyone of us defend Brady, we're Bills fans ha ha. But that you like his overinflated ego or not, HE has won 6 SB and been to 9. Arians? The coach has openly criticized Brady like if he were a rookie. Ego seems as much an issue with Ariens, but he has not the same aura, period. And while he is the HC, he seems to abuse this to criticize the star QB while being a HC makes him immune from open player criticism. I recall a story, I don't remember who, of a QB going to the coach's office and tell him he should not openly yell at him in front of the other players as it makes him lose his leadership status. And that coach didn't after. Ariens even goes to the media to do so. WTH. Besides, they can lose'em all from now on ha ha. I'm no Bucs fan. I actually respect Brady in a lot of ways, but not him, pouting, yelling at teammates, never shaking hands after a loss, etc. I just wished the Bills would have beat him while with the Cheats. Now I care a lot less. Except to appreciate OUR coaching staff.

The way they do this is you can celebrate like madmen, like it's your first game ever ha ha. But you cannot do it towards your opponents, and neither when looking at them like Josh did. He could have spun the ball and do summersaults, jump in the stands... but he spun the ball close to the defender AND looked at him doing so. Classic taunting. Not very smart but I like the fiery attitude. He wants to win and well, his ankle deserves the game ball! I was almost certain it was broken and Allen done for the season.

That would be for me ha ha Anyone saw the Cowboys fan punch and then SHOOT his TV?

Let’s consider permanently replacing Milano with Klein.
Jerome007 replied to M. Wrotto's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha ha fairweather fans. Klein has been a STUD the last 3 games, no doubt. But Milano has been too... when he played. This is offseason talk anyway. I agree Milano should not rob the Bills' bank, but otherwise, why discuss this NOW? They are all on the roster, play them all, and just win, baby. Anyway, Bills D can have 3 LBs on the field so... why choose. -
Moss deserved to be ejected for that toss. Hell, suspended. We can't have that in the game! My kids were watching!! (What the hell did he do actually ha ha) Klein Morse And yes, Josh's ankle. I thought his season was over. That's one flexible ankle. Bonus point to Lynn's time management skills Bosa is the game MVP

The Life of an NFL Players' Personal Chef
Jerome007 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Not your concern yet you type all these sentences defending these virtuous modern wives? Most men set the bar way too low for these poor Western ladies. Don't worry though, they are set for life. That they stay married or not, they'll get those players' money. -
Seems IR (this year) means 3 GAMES, not 3 WEEKS, hence why he can only come back next week. I'd be good to know if he is healthy regardless. Edit: seems some answers had been written while I was typing ha ha. My last point stands though

Mitch Morse will start at Center
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We always fault McD for his honeyed politician responses, but here if he was unnecessarily blunt IMO. He could have easily the bye week for a prudent approach answer, at least to t he media. Anyway, Morse is paid well, plays well too IMO, and having both him and Feliciano is good! I love how Jon says he prepares as a center anyway. It makes him both ready and better as a guard, knowing what everybody else is doing -

Great stuff, more power to him. But when the players have a wife.. does she just spend his money as full time "work"? -

When the Patriot Way goes wrong
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always wonder how a crazy dude like Gronk could function and even thrive in that grating environment. For players to buy in, they have to win, otherwise it's just too mcuh abuse. I don't thin kit's coincidence 5 players opted out this year after Brady left... Though another totalitarian, Coughlin, somehow changed his ways and got the team following him again after plain ole mutiny. Even winning a Superbowl after that happened. As for Brady being "beta" to take the abuse, I would have thought this typical Brady envy ha ha, but Arians chewed him HARD at the beginning of the year so it seems legit. -
I too looooooooove snow games. Loved the last one with the Shady TD in OT. But indeed, Bills are made to pass so we can wait till another year

Amazing thread. Flutie jumping in Bruce's arms (couldn't find it searching) would be a good addition

He's always been this way, always, but I admit I found it funny to see the shy-rejected-kid baffled look on Goff looking for Tom while we knew Brady was heading out ha ha

Saints to start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has barely played as a pure NFL QB yet people expect him to be good right off the bat? I like to watch him play as he is entertaining. Is he starting QB caliber? No clue, but I too don't get all the vitriol sent his way. Sure the offense was simplified for him and all that, but it is for most young or backup QBs until they gain experience. How surprising... -
I'm still baffled how great the OL pass protect, but they can't push the pile with any consistency, and every 3rd & 1 has to be a creative play. But I don't mind if the RBs catch passes for sweeps that are not counted as run plays but we all know they are. I don't understand how so few coaches have copied Greg Roman's creative running plays. He was awesome at that with the Bills, and obviously still is with the Ravens. The run D is problematic too, for sure. It seems the blitzes have worked, and Klein has suddenly been turned on! He was a liability all year but the last 2 games he's been superb. Edit: I'll say this, Singletarry, Moss, even Yeldon, have all been awesome pass blockers. IDK if it's all them the coaches, or both, but it's been impressive.

We're going on week 12. The season is fine. MAYBE an extra week delay before the playoffs.
