  1. Exactly but... what are they supposed to say? For example, it might be Josh's hurt left shoulder that tuned down his play the last few games. Maybe, maybe not, but why would they tell the world? They shouldn't share secrets anyway. As fans, of course we'll like to know some inner details, we have this deluded fantasy of being part of the team ha ha. But if they told the media, they'd tell it to the whole league too. One thing I do like from many of the interviews, is you can sense the camaraderie, how tight the team is, that they think like winners, and they give tons of props to teammates. As in anything repetitive or mundane, we have to discard the 95% stuff to find the 5% of gems. Some guys like Hughes are ferociously loyal to teammates to a caricatural point that is fun to see.
  2. Is it because they have Josh to practice with? But seems to me, rushing QBs have been neutralized in that aspect of their game against the McD Bills. The biggest surprise to me last game is how Wilson never gained a first down with a run like he so often does. His running was a total non-factoe. Last year I expected both Josh and Lamar Jackson to showcase their running game when they met and it didn't happen. This year it's Kyler Murray leading the QBs in rushing yards. Will the Bills D stop him too?
  3. It can be a weak b*tch move, but there were 4 guys coming down hard on him, unblocked. I didn't find anything odd TBH.
  4. Well they stop the damn race thing already! What happened that non-racist meant looking at the person's qualities and not the color of their skin? And what about players? We need more Whites, Asians, Latinos? So sick of this BS that without Josh I would have stopped watching the Bills/NFL this year, which is quite amazing, and many people have actually done so. As for playoffs, the 12 teams was so perfect. It makes the whole season totally relevant and important. At this time, is it still 12 or 14 teams that make it? While I get switching to 16 teams this year if the schedule becomes all messed up, you just know they will use this as a step to make it permanent.
  5. Bills were on offense so can control how fast they snap it after. Basically, they can wait for the TV replay unless the TV crew screws up or time is an issue. To say it's not that important as it's 1st and goal... it removed 4 points. Anyway, what a play by Davies! We saw some amazing athleticism today. Some by Josh and co, and some jaw dropping passes by Wilson and Metcalf is the real deal. I kept hearing about him but didn't expect his size! He's almost built like a TE. White was battered and beat like he never has been in his career... and then made the pick to avenge himself in style.
  6. Klein was the surprise of the day ha ha. I could just picture some you guys badmouthing him and Edmunds anytime you can and then seeing them both perform like that 😝 Oh, I have been very disappointed with them, and voiced it in a few posts myself, but some of you pile it on and on. Bass felt "safe" on the shorter kicks. I didn't have that "every kick of his is an adventure" feelings ha ha. And I'm glad they tried the 61 yards just for... kicks. He has one strong leg! Just not precise like we'd like but he's getting there, which is reassuring. Best coached game of the year! From gameplan to execution. Just the missed challenge opportunity. Pay me and I'll watch the game and communicate when needed
  7. It wasn't his first time... but maybe it was his first doing so all the way from beginning to end, on both sides of the ball. And I'm glad he did. I expected a super high score, he-who-scores-last-wins affair, and we got even better than that since the D came through. Crazy how the run offense was a total non-factor yet they could crush the Seahawks anyway! I don't recall the Bills blitzing so much and it was fun! Seahawks got way more sacks yet I feel the Bills D put way more pressure and that overall Josh was protected well.
  8. I find this all a big masquerade, as per DaggersEOD's post in this thread. But... if the coaches have to wear a damn mask outside or as Daboll, alone in the booth (!), do they have to have one in the locker room? And Billicheat was not wearing his a lot of the time, especially in the 3rd quarter. Anyway... ridiculous signaling but I'm curious as to what the NFL rules are. It's confusing!
  9. I found this funny... and if accurate, just shows the blatant overaction in this whole thread. I too have the impression he has missed a lot of time, and he's my favorite Bills on defense with White. But if he has played 86% of games, just CHILL everybody. And LOL at saying the dude should retire. He'll make some serious cash with his next contract.
  10. 2 games is fine. I expected worse. And he actually gave him a peekaboo warning before punching ha ha. Yes, Gronk was way worse.
  11. BIG arm in that pic ha ha
  12. Still bagging on Murphy, hey guys? He was good at one point. IDK if Klein was but wow, he's bad now. But as depth, he's OK.
  13. His run offense was awesome when he was here as well. So much variety. I'm actually surprised it isn't copied more!
  14. These players seem such a great group. You got that from Kyle's retirement, Beasley after the Dallas game, this, and of course the Dalton TD. Just beautiful. I didn't expect Zimmer to be that shy ha ha
  15. I've said many times that it must be discouraging playing WR for the Ravens. But OL, TE? Must be fun. They had 265 yards of rushing yesterday! And it's typical they have more rushing than passing. They are the opposite of the Chiefs. They are set up so if they win, they bring the hammer and misery. If they are behind by a lot, they have little chance to come back. But so far, they deliver.
  16. I mentioned his upside as he is green at DT. You could put the world's best 300 pound athlete at the position, but if he has never played the position he'll suck bad. As for declining physically, don't be so sure. He's not that old, and his wear and tear is fairly low compared to peers of his age. Anyway, let's hope he does grow into an All Pro as a Bills ha ha
  17. I'm not saying at all he could a "Kyle Williams" type, but some athletes do peak older. And in his case, it seems he has the physical tools but likely not the whole toolbox of skills in the DT position, being fairly green at it. So yes, his upside is still huge - though he might plateau. Point is, we don't know but it is possible.
  18. He wanted to be LB then DE now DT? That's quite unusual! It was a LB type tackle he did. He's pushed around and ragdolled on some plays, and a disrupter on others. I mean it happens to everyone but he is more at the extremes of both. Weird.
  19. Morse is one of the most mobile centers and does an amazing job downfield when the play has evolved for that. Obviously a great leader and communicator, and yep, very good at pass blocking. But pure strength and pushing up the pile, especially on obvious run plays... not his forte. Overall, still a damn good player. And with him AND Feliciano, it would be better.
  20. Damn, some of you guys are looking for anything. Edmunds has been disappointing but here he was double teamed and sometimes the other guys just happen to get better leverage and do a good play. Makes me appreciate Zimmer's 'winning hand of God' even more. What a great play!
  21. I won't be original. Edmunds, Klein and Oliver. Normal to expect a lot more from #1 draft picks or a highly paid FA signee.
  22. His wife was nagging him about picking groceries on the way back. He thus suddenly decided to prepare the Seahawk game right after this one.
  23. With concussions you never know. He might fully OK 3 days from now... or 3 months from now. Depends not only in his own history,. but what kind of hit, what is affected, etc. It seems "rotational hits" often cause more severe ones. We'll see. Of course it ain't good news in any shape or form, but we can't compare to the past. In other eras - and not that far away - he would have just gone out a few plays "to shake the cobwebs off" and gone back in. That's where those old players who suffer probably aggravated their situations. We thankfully know a lot more now.
  24. Moss had a (at last) a great game. MVP of the day. Wait another such performance before anointing him #1. He really had it today and I sure hope it was an awakening, but let's face it, he was below Yeldon till this week, and motor has been steady good. Zimmer! Feliciano - forgetting him? What an impact he had! And he had to play center too Milano was reading everything... yet missed a lot of tackles. Seems like rust and little play time to get in the groove. I hope he's back to full health and as starter next week
  25. I can't know for sure of course, but IMO It's not because of how Bates played but that it was the center position. The coaches must have felt Feliciano was much better at calling plays for the line. And overall wow did #76 made his presence felt today. Welcome back! Klein blitzing was awful when blocked he was stiffened on the spot. Every blitzer can do something if unblocked...
