  1. My sons were at their moms. But we video called before, at half time and after the game. Next games are with me. All the way to the SUPERBOWL, baby.
  2. When will teams learn from the Cheatriots? Help Josh create his super company, JA17, that provides invaluable "consulting services"; pay him a super salary cap friendly deal while some of Pegula's other companies have this urgent need of the unique type of consulting only JA17 can provide 🙃
  3. And that's what I liked most about him from the start. He seemed to be a leader that would not be pushed around, BUT have confidence to hire great people and delegate. Just like I loved that Josh would be a harsh self-critic, always strive to improve, respect teammates and the game, hiring outside coaches... yet be full of confidence and play to win balls out. BTW except for year one I never bought the "McD is too conservative because he is a former DC" line. He was clueless at times in game day decisions and half time adjustments (his biggest improvement this year by far!), but he was never THAT conservative. Well, there's that choice to start Peterman... OK maybe he was
  4. In hockey, coaches with opposite personalities of the last one tend to start well. So I was happy with Rex's hiring (ouch) and content with McD. Actually, I was super pissed at the Rex Ryan hiring, as I really disliked him ha ha. But he won me over quick. The team needed an electroshock and I felt then that he brought it. So I was wrong ha ha. McD I was more indifferent, knowing so little about him. The hype job was well done so I was hopeful, but a part of me was wary it was "save money & settle by giving a new guy a chance" hiring. Glad to be wrong I felt by year 2 you could tell he did things right.
  5. Not picking on you or this question specifically, it's just that I never get these impossible to make it happen "What if" questions. I wouldn't simply not from Day 1 because Josh was our guy. And now, even less so! Edit: and unless Josh gets 500M too, then even less so, again. Not out of envy ha ha, but because of the salary cap!
  6. Oh no! Leave it to 12 BTW why did he became 14 this year?
  7. Interesting oversight by most of us. This board was foaming at the mouth to fire the last ST coach. Rightfully so ha ha. But indeed they have looked sound all year.
  8. Overall, what impressed me the most is that the Bills made a then 10-5 team fighting for a playoff spot look like the Jets! Daryl Williams on RT has been quietly but surely doing the job. Now Antonio Williams sure made a mark and looked damn good out there... Yeah I noticed that right away... and didn't like it ha ha
  9. Her are mine. Yours? MVP: Josh is obviously the man Best new addition: Diggs Best rookie: Davis Best defensive player: I'd go with White Turnaround of the year: co-equal Bass & Klein Obscure hero: While Daryl Williams must be the “player most under the radar” winner, Feliciano’s versatility and impact since coming back makes him THE candidate Not players but major props to Beane and Daboll! And COTY for McD Hughes and Beasley for Team First awards
  10. I had read that the salary cap hit for the Eagles would be HUMOUGOUS. So much so, it's much better for them to keep me around as #2 at least next year than to have so much dead cap hit for nothing. Other dude is rookie so could turn out to be bad, or get injured, etc.
  11. If the Bills win the SuperBowl I'm parachuting in for the parade!
  12. While I agree and I've been a Josh fanboy since day 1, credit the OLine yesterday! He could have started writing his biography back there! Awesome pass protection
  13. I was actively searching for Poyer ha ha. I must have been too dizzy with victory. Brown was fine but close to someone with Covid? So he'll be back for the playoffs. Things are looking gooooood. If no one gets injured in that last game!
  14. Hopefully he's healed in 2 weeks What about Poyer? And Brown?
  15. Let's be real, even if the odds favor the Bills except against the Chiefs, any playoff game can be the last game... including the very first one. This year it would be soooo disappointing but it can happen. But there's nothing "sky is always falling" about it. It's just the nature of the Beast. Only one team out of 32 leaves the winner.
  16. The Bills can beat ANYONE they'll face in the playoffs... but anyone of those teams can beat them too. I'd only give better odds to the Chiefs... and the Ravens. Because styles make fights, and the Ravens run heavy offense is obviously a bad match for the Bills D. Though at least the Bills O can outscore them.
  17. I sure missed the boos that would have rained down ha ha.
  18. Josh, Diggs and Milano sure got our juices going, but the entire OLine have to get one! Cheats D gave Josh ONE recorded hit, no knockdowns, no sacks! And so many clean pockets. Wow.
  19. Hughes has to be one of the most furiously loyal team guy ever! He must be fun to have around when things get heated... and an occasional PITA when things are calm ha ha
  20. Poorly is the injuries. They better not happen. I actually dislike this ha ha. The mindset is total fight mode normally, and now it's a preservation one. Not quite the same. At least, once the game starts, most players and fans go berserk.
  21. Maybe not meaningless, but the stress level is fairly low. It becomes more about having guys stay injury free than anything else. Great place to be, but not the same adrenaline rush, to say the least. Bills have clinched the East and the Cheats got eliminated last week. It would have been greater if both happened this game ha ha.
  22. Some Bills fans on here have been worse, wanting a loss because they worship draft picks, and at times wanted to pick 8th instead of 15th. At least this time the Jets fans knew exactly what player they wanted, so we can understand them... and rejoice that #1 pick won't be in the division What is ridiculous is the NFL not having a lottery like the NHL. Losing should never be a desired option! BTW I wish some posters here would recall how so many draft picks are disappointing or even busts, and that so many late or undrafted guys become good or great. PROVEN players beat draft picks any day.
  23. Amazing piece by Watt And of course some teams have great QBs and suck, while some SB winners have had "game manager" QBs. But the QB position remains THE most important position. Texans with Watson and JJ Watt can still manage to suck is quite impressive!
  24. So many party poopers on here LOL Do I think it's smart, that people should do it, etc.? Nope ha ha But it goes to show Bills players and fans mesh like no other I loved it. I also love the Superbowl Bills players vouch for the SB win. They deserve to be in the parade too
  25. All of them. Baltimore I "fear" more as they are a super run heavy offense, which is not exactly the Bills D strength to counter. But the Bills can beat them all, and of course, lose to them all. Overall I'd only give the Chiefs the better odds of winning, for the rest the Bills are better.
