Yep. My doctor won't get vaccinated - she told me without me even asking. My GF's mother is a medical technician and she won't either. Many doctors and scientists have different views, but those diverging from the official line dare not speak of publicly. And it's clear as day the media only have the more "prudent" ones on cue. Enough of that anyway. My point was that because of what's happening in Texas we will able to see soon enough. Either it was too soon or it wasn't. Facts speak louder than your or my or anyone's opinions and theories.

Texas Rangers had a full crowd two days ago. If in 2-3 weeks, there's no spike in cases linked to the attendees, or if there is, we can learn from it. UFC will hold events with full crowds too So by the time NFL season starts, we should have a much better idea. Who can trust fear mongering media these days unless your mind is already made up that the way we humans lived from day 1 to March 2020 is never possible again? At least Texas is doing real "testing" of crowds. We'll see soon enough. I mean, if it's bad it'll be all over the news so we have to keep an eye on what goes there as if it's all well and dandy, media will be silent. Either way, it will be telling.

Would Josh Allen ever consider a team friendly contract?
Jerome007 replied to sirebors's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder why didn't other teams imitate the Cheatriots "hiring" TB12 for "consulting". Or maybe guarantee Josh ad revenue. Can't the Pegulas pay him millions as a spokesperson for some of their non-NFL businesses? Salary cap obviously will always be an issue, as otherwise we want Josh to be paid more than Mahomes! But who wants a star QB with no team around him? -
What WR likes to sprint all over the place to get just a few balls here and there? And they get the big $$$ with big numbers. Ravens and Lamar are run happy and it fits them well. I'd love to play OL or TE there. WR? Hell no LOL It was actually weird how creative the run plays were (and I wonder why it's not copied more!) yet the pass game was dumb. Recall how he used Watkins as a decoy all the time?

Yeah but what about your signing bonus, bro?

That's what I took out of it as well. By being public with it, he can also expect help - and accountability - from teammates and coaches. And also avoid to get tempted by what would have been merely innocent social drink invitations. Impressive he can be as successful in football with such an issue. Edit: as for the car thing... you guys forget that many of these players make MILLIONS? Those aren't just made up numbers for your stats ha ha, nor are they dressed in football gear 24/7. I don't see it at all as showing off. -
And forget that the much lower than expected salary cap changes things for ALL teams.. Staying the same is actually a GREAT thing if other teams regress! Especially for a 13-3 team. And as mentioned, it's not over, at all.

Chiefs lost their TWO starting offensive tackles. And who knows what else. Of course we'd want the Bills to improve. But the unexpected low cap number means ALL teams will likely lose starters. Staying the same is a good thing... this year.
-
Amazing. I didn't think they had the cap space to retain them all. Sucks for Brown but otherwise team is intact. I don't see many teams improving with the 2021 salary cap so staying the same is a big win

WFT going from cheerleaders to a coed dance team

Yeah. We should all be "progressive" and "enlightened" for maximum internet virtue signaling points. edit for wrong quote but it seems it'll stay, like the 2 genders ha ha -
I was a big JJ Watt fan. Not many players I can say that about outside the Bills. But salary cap is salary cap. As almost all of us, Id like him to be on the Bills, but so many needs right now. A pass rushing DE certainly is one of them! But maybe not at that price tag...

UFC have got a major BOOST in ratings in 2020. Seems the NHL as well. So... nobody wants to mention identity politics, BLM, kneeling and all that as reasons the NFL lost viewers this year? NBA fared the worst, and they were the worst at that. People want to watch SPORTS, not have divisive topics pushed on them all the time! Half the fans are told how awful they are and you expect them to just take it? The emotional bond was broken for some, and it's not something to disregard lightly. Sports must be one of THE most unifying aspect of modern society, by far, but they made sure to put a wrench in that as well. Sure Kapernick started that but it was him and a few other players. This year it was the league itself and networks pushing the narrative. Go woke, go broke. Strangely, they don't even seem to care... We must be "educated".

If you're not one already, considered journalism for mainstream media. You have the traits they're looking for

Well for freezing and weather, most of us can't say much here ha ha

Yep. I still recall that. That ball was a bomb straight out of a canon. It did go slightly out of bounds, but it was thrilling to see! I loved that the first play he made was a bomb. IDK if the idea came from Josh or Daboll, but why not start with a bang when you got the arm. I loved the attitude. So many of his runs in that first year were impressive too. 20-30-40 yarders that weren't that obvious when the play started.

Tyreek Hill impressed by Justin Zimmer
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, it might be a joke, but as I mentioned, the Ravens do that with Patrick Ricard. At over 300 pounds he has caught passes like a TE at times, and I'm sure he helps the run game.... since most of their plays are runs and screens. -
Hey, I was actually rooting for him to make some NFL money a bit to be able to digest that INT filled debut. But $2.75M? My soft heart is more than sated. That's too much ha ha. Dude must be really awesome in practice and in the film room for coaches to love him so much

Nice shout out... though without a name Think of Patrick Ricard #42 of the Ravens, officially listesd as a RB... at 6'3" / 311 lbs! He had caught a significant amount of passes - not against the Bills though
