  1. Well for freezing and weather, most of us can't say much here ha ha
  2. Yep. I still recall that. That ball was a bomb straight out of a canon. It did go slightly out of bounds, but it was thrilling to see! I loved that the first play he made was a bomb. IDK if the idea came from Josh or Daboll, but why not start with a bang when you got the arm. I loved the attitude. So many of his runs in that first year were impressive too. 20-30-40 yarders that weren't that obvious when the play started.
  3. Well, it might be a joke, but as I mentioned, the Ravens do that with Patrick Ricard. At over 300 pounds he has caught passes like a TE at times, and I'm sure he helps the run game.... since most of their plays are runs and screens.
  4. Hey, I was actually rooting for him to make some NFL money a bit to be able to digest that INT filled debut. But $2.75M? My soft heart is more than sated. That's too much ha ha. Dude must be really awesome in practice and in the film room for coaches to love him so much
  5. Nice shout out... though without a name Think of Patrick Ricard #42 of the Ravens, officially listesd as a RB... at 6'3" / 311 lbs! He had caught a significant amount of passes - not against the Bills though
  6. I hope he stays. And Feliciano and Milano. But who knows... Such is life in pro sports.
  7. I guess that coming from a hockey culture I was fine with all the extra actions. In fact, I wanted more ha ha. I salute Dawkins for NOT kicking the dude in the head. You could tell he thought about it and restrained himself. That blatant spear by the KC player against the Browns, is it a foul or not? Serious question. I know it should be, but what is the current rule? The Browns player was obviously a runner and not a defenseless receiver. It's the play that caused the fumble/touchback too, right? A penalty there would have seriously impacted that game!
  8. I will put the positive spin: when it comes to pass blocking (NOT run blocking!), that Bills OL was superb this year. Very few communication breakdowns. Some of that credit comes to Daboll and coaches (many plays with 6-7 blockers at times, non obvious plays, etc.), Josh for adjusting protection before the snap... but of course a lot of that credit goes to Morse and the OL. But yeah, the Chiefs wasn't one of those games... I wonder why. My first guess is good gameplan by KC but who knows. I expected the offensive juggernaut but not the Chiefs D to look so dominant.
  9. So you're a Bills fan, hey? I wouldn't want you as teammate! As for Feliciano and Dawkins, I love them, but yeah, it was somehow they're worse game of the year. Feliciano, a force usually, was pushed back a lot. Maybe he was injured or just outmatched, only he and the coaches know. Chiefs D looked elite. I didn't expect that! Insane pressure on Josh, but mostly, the receivers were blanketed all night. WTH
  10. They do every year... and in fact way more often than that! Especially Beane. I'm sure McD does a lot but it's normal he could have more of an emotional tie to some players. You really think in this parity salary cap league teams don't have weaknesses? Bills sure deserved to be on the last 4 teams to play. Of course, Beane and McD - and us all! - want the SB, not Top 4. Still, I think it shows they kind of work they have done so far! I don't see this team being like what happened to Marino or Phillip Rivers. The foundation and Josh himself look way more solid.
  11. What? Feliciano didn't come in like the cavalry because Josh was on his back but to protect him as Josh wouldn't have it and threw the football in the dude's helmet. Dawkins gets the "self-control" award of the night as you could tell he had to urge to kick that SOB in the head ha ha. I had to laugh at the rules when the refs actually called all the right penalties... and they simply offset! Math is just too hard it seems. Daboll yesterday sure didn't have an answer for the blitzes. Nor free up Diggs. And whoever, probably McD, decided to not got on 4th twice while close to the goal line... damn! While the Bills D kept doing blitzes... to no avail. At the end, I got it. They were in all or nothing mode so I was OK with it, like the last Kelce TD, they sent the house. But before that point, WTH were they doing?
  12. I actually want the Chiefs to absolutely destroy him and the Bucs. Kill advertisers and ratings too while at it. Now the Bills season is over, the NFL can pay for its SJW/BLM bullcrap. Especially week 1. The only time I wanted the Cheats to win at the SB, is when facing the Seahawks. That team had to be the most arrogant ever. I'm not exactly loving the Chiefs right now (doh!). I was so glad to hear the Bills play them again next year as revenge could be had. But they are a complete, awesome team. As for this year's Bills, the love they have for one another was so awesome. It's been like that awhile but this year topped it all. Hughes is such a homer it's crazy fun. It must be fun having a teammate like him! Feliciano, Beasly, Diggs, Allen they were on the same page for sure.
  13. Ha! BTW good point about the Bills (and UFC) being a sanity outlet in these weird times. NFL almost ruined it with their BLM/politics BS at the start of the season but they toned it down. Leave politics and SJW out of sports. There's way more than enough already. We could get some needed sense of escape to normality. Even seeing crowds in Buffalo and GB helped have this feel. The camaraderie and love shown by Bills player for one another was almost as impressive as the results on the field.
  14. I was glad to hear they play each other again during the regular season next year. It better be in Buffalo this time. Crush them!
  15. How can they still have so much talent after paying Mahomes that much? With the salary cap, I just don't get t. That their offense would likely carve up the Bills D, that was almost expected. But the Chiefs D played damn well. IMO it wasn't the Bills O that played bad. That was surprising. Though F going for field goals when you're so close to the red zone and playing against this offense. But yeah, great season and a sign of great things to come. A rivalry could have been born too.
  16. I didn't realize how little motion they use presnap. But Josh's hard counts almost make up for it. And very true what is the Bills favorite play, and how KC used 2 deep safeties, disguised presnap, to counter that. Daboll will find a way. And Josh is on fire. Crazy though how QB play is always the key. QBs deserve all the attention they get.
  17. It's weird. I REALLY wanted him to stay. Yet when I realized that would be the case, I was also sad for him. He deserves a HC job. But still... Go BILLS
  18. Even a full season where no one had anything bad happening from the "virus" beside from Tim Sweeny (and such heart issues do happen from many viruses) and maybe a few IDK about, you STILL say stuff like that? Sky didn't fall. They were prudent because they had to for many reasons but athletes were not at risk. Playing football is way more dangerous. I think the NFL "cares" now about concussion related issue, because they don't want another lawsuit. Not because they are so benevolent. But stop with the virus already. What more evidence is needed?
  19. Yeah. Just like he did, put some ice on it and get back out there! Chiefs can say what they want, it must be outside doctors having the final say... I hope for the players My only exception would be the Superbowl. Wasn't that Elleman that had a concussion and later couldn't even remember the game? Only time it is worth it.
  20. Wind was a huge factor. Many passes (and kicks) went all wrong today for both teams. The Bills D stepped up more and deserve the W
  21. Defense won that one. When the Bills O & D together they can beat ANYONE Just two more to go!
  22. I had my jaw dropped. His motion is for a 5 yard dump off and he threw it 40 yards down the field. He COULD have stepped up. He just didn't need to or chose to. Good point by Inigo that it was touch pass too!
  23. I was actually teary eyed when I first heard the CROWD, just before the kickoff! Props to those in attendance. I was thrilled when I saw Rivers have to move to the line and yell. The noise was affecting him!
  24. Ha ha this thread. Milano made very good plays, and yes, many mistakes, and was a split second late many times. But to bench him? Wow Too bad though with the way Klein suddenly "woke up" mid-season that there isn't a way to keep these 3 LBs on the field more. Edmunds had one of his best games. But nope, Milano stays Edit: that loss must sting for Rivers, but he won't be physically hurting today! He had very little pressure. Makes it hard for the LB and secondary to cover guys. As mentioned a lot already, that Colts O-Line deserve the credit more than the Bills players the blame! It was a playoff 11-5 team. Not the NY Jets!
  25. Like many, no issue with the refs making the wrong call on the field. It's so fast, and they might not be positioned well. But after the review? WTF That tweet about the NFL needing to give a more detailed explanation STANDS.
