Who was the last TRUE #1 WR for the Bills?
Dadonkadonk replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jesus what a long OP. Watkins was and still is a true #1. Beane fuvked us on that trade. Set the WR group back three years. -
McCoy 4.8 YPC Ivory 2.8 YPC Yes Ivory might get an extra yard when there is no hole. But Shady gets 11 when there is a crack. You picked the wrong game and the wrong argument regarding Shady.

What say the crowd? The offense just had gotten a little rhythm. My take is on 3rd and 5 you go run pass option knowing you are going for it on 4th down barring a loss of yards. They netted 36 yards on a decent punt but Rodgers made up that chunk of yards in 4 plays. 36 yards is nothing for a QB like Rodgers. Points is what is needed. Another gutless move that most NFL coaches make so McD is not outside the norm. The Bills are now on tape at least three times trying to get them to jump offsides. Time to use the trend against the opponent. It's likely a lost season. Let the kid try to make plays.

Amazing how toxic this has gotten and ended. One day I think we will find out the root cause is Wilson. There just seems to be too many comments that lead back to Wilson and of course the SB interception. Anyone recall a worse separation? Emmitt to Cardinals was a little heated. Hell even Smith,Reed, and Thomas were not great but nothing like we are seeing with Thomas.

Ivory got no chunks of yards. The OL is far worse than Daboll and Daboll sucks so far. Dak Prescott has just as bad WR and TE groups as Bills do and Elliot ran for 150. Commit to the run. Shady had 5 YPC. It's ok to run on 2nd and long. Beane knew about Wood and Richie and signed a bottom 5 C and drafted a 5th round G. Beane got his QB but gave up too much to get Edmunds. McD is just as guilty wasting multiple picks to get Zay and Dawkins. Dawkins is fine but McBeane has put less talent on the field in year two and other than Wood, that is entirely their doing.

Bills vs. Packers 2nd Half Game Day Thread

As others said, if I was not born in a NFL city no way I watch this crap. Refs let Packers hold all game long. -

Why even have replay if they can't get the replay calls right. He knee was down. Everyone in the stadium could see it on the scoreboard. -

All game long. Terrible officiating today. Just awful. Im in the stands watching Hughes get mugged all game long. -
Who threw all the passes Zay dropped last year? Zay was far worse for TT than TT was for Zay. I love all these posts where they say he would be good in the slot. He is too slow to play outside. So people assume he would be good in the slot. Slot WR needs elite quickness in today's NFL. Zay has shown no ability to play in the slot. He doesnt separate and he doesn't make the contested catch. He is best at lining up outside and running hitch, post, and deep cross. All of which are slower developing plays. It's the same lazy assumption a bust OT can play OG. Too soon to write him off but he looks like a complete bust at this point.

Is Thad Brown the dumbest Bills media personality?
Dadonkadonk replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can make an argument TT could have had the same game Allen did against Minn. Less than 200 yards, 2 rushing TD, 1 passing, O INT, a few sacks, held onto ball a bit too long in the second half, many throws to the sidelines. Allen was a bit more accurate throwing the ball than TT but still missed an open Clay for a TD(good enough to make a great catch but could have made it easier) and under-threw Foster by quite a bit down the middle. As for Peterman, he is the perfect tease back-up QB for fans. He looks good in practice and preseason. He teases by knowing where to go with the ball. But in the end he doesn't have the tools to succeed. -
Tre White is the Best Player On the Bills Now
Dadonkadonk replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tre is awesome. He is a perfect combination of size, speed, and tackling. He is not elite at any of those characteristics but he may be the best combination of all three the Bills have ever had. Winfield was the best tackler by far, Clements was best big corner, and McKelvin or McGee probably the fastest. None of them were the complete package though Winfield was truly exceptional for a long time. Tre has a chance to quickly move up the Bills all-time DB list if he continues to play as he has in his short career to date. -
Is anyone else amused and/or annoyed with McD constantly referring to this team as a "young football team"? And the media never calls him on it. I've seen rankings anywhere from 7th to 2nd OLDEST team in the league. Yes they have rookies at QB and MLB with second year players at LT, DB, and OLB. These are all critical positions but it hardly makes the entire team young. Shady, KW, Hughes, Poyer, Hyde, Lorax, Star, Ducasse, KB, Ivory, Clay, and Davis before his retirement are all vets with many years of service and play key roles on the team. I know this is not a big deal but it is just really annoying. I could not sit there as a reporter and hear him say "young football team" no less than 5 times in PC today and not call him out on the actual facts.

The flip to RR was the worst call I've ever seen.
Dadonkadonk replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
None of what you just posted is true. There is no distance rule to determine a pass nor is there anything about possessing the ball for a certain length of time. Here is the actual rule. Rule 8 Forward Pass, Backward Pass, Fumble Section 1 Forward Pass DEFINITION Article 1 Definition It is a forward pass if: (a) the ball initially moves forward (to a point nearer the opponent’s goal line) after leaving the passer’s hand(s); or (b) the ball first strikes the ground, a player, an official, or anything else at a point that is nearer the opponent’s goal line than the point at which the ball leaves the passer’s hand(s). Note: A ball that is intentionally fumbled and goes forward is a forward pass. A ball that is intentionally muffed, and goes forward or backward, is a batted ball (12-1-8). The direction taken by a fumbled or muffed ball does not affect the application of the rules specific to such acts, unless it is ruled that they are intentional. When a player is in control of the ball and attempting to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his hand starts a forward pass. (a) If the passer is attempting to throw a forward pass, but contact by an opponent materially affects him, causing the ball to go backward, it is a forward pass, regardless of where the ball strikes the ground, a player, an official, or anything else. (b) If, after an intentional forward movement of his hand, the passer loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body, it is a forward pass. If the player loses possession after he has tucked the ball into his body, it is a fumble. (c) If the passer loses possession of the ball while attempting to recock his arm, it is a fumble. The ball went towards the opponents goal line and it strikes another player nearer the goal line. It was a pass. It would have been in the stats as a completed pass and passing yards. They blew the call. -
Are We The Worst Bills Fans Since The Polian Years?
Dadonkadonk replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Most on here had no issue with McD except his decision to start Peterman. Many including me question Beane. But I’ve posted multiple times, if Allen is a franchise QB and Edmunds is a star, then the picks given up won’t matter. The dead cap is all on Beane and no one can honestly say they would rather have KB instead of Watkins. Star is playing better than I thought but Dareus is still a better player and the cost next year is not that less. -
Where Did That Pass Rush Come From?!
Dadonkadonk replied to Lurker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most of the big pass rush plays happened in the first 10 minutes of the game. I doubt rest had anything to do with it. Jerry was unblockable at times. They mixed in some pressure. Vikings helped out a bit by not giving the LT any help. -
What if the line isn’t that bad?
Dadonkadonk replied to GoodHands15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
C, WR, RT, OLB , TE are the biggest needs on this team. I prefer a FA WR and C. Draft RT, OLB, DE, CB, TE in no particular order. -
By the Numbers: Which QB Would You Rather Have?

But but Allen didn't throw for 300 yards???? -
Flying in from Portland with one of my sons. Brewers game Sat night. Bills on Sunday.

Would you rather have: Mahomes or both Allen & Tre?
Dadonkadonk replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will take Allen, Tre, and ending the drought. You think Mahomes puts up these numbers with Denison and KB? -
Giants should have traded down. SB is a great talent but your just don't take a RB high anymore. They could have moved down and gotten Nelson, a top tier defender, and a high pick in 2019.

Dak and Watson are falling back to earth. Goff and Wentz were terrible their first year's and look great now. Let's give it a little time -
Unnecessary Roughness Call on Tre' White ?
Dadonkadonk replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Terrible call. Just awful call. That was a good clean hard hit. If the defense can't make plays like that then the game will start to look more and more like college games in the Big 12. That said, they missed PI they should have called on White. -
I will take Foster over Zay. At least one of them gets open.
