Predict the Score: Week 2 - Chargers at Bills
Dadonkadonk replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mea culpa. I really thought Bills would win but was banking on the West to East coast travel. Chargers looked more prepared than Bills in first quarter. -
So far he has misfired on OC(replaced) and DC(took over playcalling) and most think OL coach(though how the hell would we really know). Give him credit for making changes. It did. Unfortunately they ruled he was still touching the ball when his elbow was out of bounds thus it was a dead ball. Seems a bit unfair to the defense that they don't get a chance to recover but in retrospect it was the right call. As for the Chargers recovering the ball, I never saw an angle that proved that. Don't know how the refs called that one Chargers ball. A challenge there has zero downside. Good move even if unlikely to work.

Not really. He had a few other throws that weren't great. I have been an Allen guy from the beginning. He was perfectly fine today. Not great but exactly what I expected. Made more throws than TT ever did and more INT than TT ever did. This board/organization didn't want TT. Well this is what you get. It's fine. If he gets better and starts having more 2-3 TD 1 INT games over the season he will be fine.

McD took over defensive play calling in 2nd half

Wow. Frazier is a Tampa 2 guy. And they don't have Sapp and Brooks on this team. -
They weren't an expansion team. Beane has gotten rid of more talent than he has brought in. That said it doesn't matter if Allen is a franchise QB. That is all that matters this year. That said Bean FA decisions are awful. I would be fine if he was fired and a new person was brought in. I don't trust him with $100 million in cap money.

Webb is great and I would vote him into the HOF before Boselli but Peters and Thomas are better. Thomas was the best LT of his generation. Running backs can be found anywhere. Knowing both careers it is a real toss up between Thomas and Revis. I'd probably go with Revis because an average LT will not kill an offense. While an average CB can be a liability.

Wrong approach. Trade for a C/G that can start. QB makes the WR not the other way around. Put Zay in the slot. Split Clay and McCoy out wide. Give Allen protection.

Larry Allen played guard and is the best of all time.
