Even so, there will be a drop off in expertise as far as knowledge on offense is concerned. Especially if you’re comparing McD to Reid or McD to McVay. He will never be in that class. The Bills could hire just about anyone to come coach here. Why not find the next McVay? I mean, literally the brightest minds would be salivating to come here. Why go with the DC whose teams fall apart in big moments? Allen is our best player, bar none, get a QB whisperer to come here to help him realize his true potential. At that point we have permanent stability on offense.

I don’t think so, at least not long term, at least not for us to transition into being a great team instead of just a good one. McD is a good coach, not a great one. He’s a defensive guru whose defenses crap the bed in big moments. He’s not the offensive innovator that Josh Allen needs.

I love all the douchey eye roll and disagree emojis in this thread! Just because you’re not a total Bills fanboy/soyboy loyalist you get tarred and feathered by the village mob of idiots! 😆😆😆😆😆😆

He’s a big name, but I question if he has any fire left. Wonder who else is available?

Much patience is required when it comes to QBs. I’m talking years of patience like 10-15 years of patience. Don’t expect Allen to win 7-8 of them like Brady, that’s so unrealistic. How many did Favre, Brees and Young win? Elway won a whole lot of nada mucho until the tail end of his career. The Vikings have been stuck with Kirk freaking Cousins for how long now? It’s hard to find good QBs dude and when you get one you hang onto them! Look, we got our franchise QB for the next decade. There’s going to be up’s and downs, there’s going to be mountains and valleys, highs and lows but the bottom line is, we got our guy! Our first legit franchise QB since Kelly! Rejoice in that! We’ve been in QB purgatory since the freaking 90s dude, relax! Answer me this one question, Mango. If you could have any one Bills player in Bills history in a Buffalo “re-draft” to start this franchise over again, who would you pick? Honest question. My top 3: 1. Josh Allen 2. Bruce Smith 3. Jim Kelly I love you @Mangobut <mic drop> 😆

Allen is arguably the best player in franchise history, maybe even more so than Bruce. Because of him we’ve consistently have made the playoffs the last 3-4 years. To anyone who doesn’t recognize Allen as our franchise, turn in your Bills fan card, you are not a true Bills fan. I think Kim & Terry need to think long and hard about rolling the bones on a new HC. I love Beane, but if that means he goes too, I’m okay with it.

Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
Victory Formation replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD is a good coach, not a great one. The Bills would benefit greatly if we got the next Sean McVay, but there is a certain risk involved with us ending up with someone worse than McD. I’d be willing to roll bones on the right coach. -

Thing I like most about McD and Beane is the culture and atmosphere that they’ve created here in Buffalo. Is McD as good a coach as Bill Belichick? No, but he’s created a positive environment for his players, coaches and staff to thrive in. And as far as McD vs the field goes, you can do a lot, I repeat, A LOT worse than having Sean McD as your HC. The one thing that must get worked out though is our problems on offense, but I believe that McD/Beane deserve every chance under the sun to right that ship. Dorsey may grow into that role, he may not. -
I can’t imagine being Allen and having people worship him likes he’s some god or something, it’s weird. One second he’s some unknown QB from Firebaugh, the next second he’s the top story on every major News outlet. That’s enough to screw with anyones head. I can’t imagine. I think Allen’s problem is that there’s a lot of pressure on him, he’s THE guy and he knows it. The best thing McD and co can do is to build a stellar team around him to lessen the load.

Josh Allen leads NFL in interceptions
Victory Formation replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
I truly do think that Allen needs to work very closely with Jordan Palmer, even now. Some passes I wonder how he did that, but other passes I’m scratching my head and wondering what he was thinking. My ultimate verdict is that he’ll be fine though. -
If it effects you this way, I truly do think you should stop watching. Me? I’ve been through so much that I can’t get worked up over a game. I enjoy watching, but I’m not going to blow a gasket or take the LORD’s name in vain.

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
Victory Formation replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Better than Hines, better than Cook, better than Moss, better than Duke. Who do you want to replace him with exactly? -
First impression: James Cook

I hate you guys. 28 car 147yds 1 TD (on the whole year) 🙄🙄🤮🤮🤢🤢 -
Thank you for not being a hothead. We need to R-E-L-A-X!

We’re 6-3 with 8 games to go and we could still hypothetically win the Super Bowl this year. What are you on about?
-
I always enjoy watching the idiocy of Bills fans on full display after every loss. Mainly because of their macho, fanboy, frat boy, jock sniffing antics that goes on during the week leading up to the game. Bills fans have become spoiled little brats. O how quickly you forget about the drought years that went on for two decades! We have the best QB in the league and in Bills history! Shame on all of you for crying like children! My team didn’t win! O boo hoo! LOLOLOLLL Josh is a supremely gifted and talented QB. He is still young and he is still learning on the job. Don’t lash out like myopic children because he hasn’t won a Super Bowl in his first 5 years, it takes time! Sheesh. Half the message board needs to go sleep it off and stop acting like d-bags.

The Josh Allen Performance Thread
Victory Formation replied to KeLLy1278's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not even slightly worried about Josh. We have a franchise QB for the next 15 years, I’m focused on the long play. QBs have the shelf life of twinkies. Next question. -
Should the Bills re-sign Ed Oliver?
Victory Formation replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s a good player. What matters most is if the Bills will get good value for him. Any good negotiator has their “walk away” price. Let him negotiate with other teams, match their offer, or not.
