  1. Don't you have to play in the NFL for 5 years to get the 300k/yr per life pension? I hope he keeps his benefits. Only been playing for 4 years.
  2. I want Case Keenum. Draft a QB if a good one falls, otherwise load up.
  3. That's a good strategy, Vea and Rudolph would be solid picks. We may get an additional 3rd if we lose Gaines. Could have two 2nds and two 3rds, could completely rebuild the entire roster. A young QB would fail here if we gave up everything to get him, we have too many holes. How we made the playoffs last year I have no freaking idea.
  4. I'm not in the trade up crowd, I'm in the sit tight crowd and play the compensatory picks game. We could walk out of this draft with 4 starters and some nice depth. Rudolph and Jackson could both be there, maybe Josh Allen, we'll see.
  5. Maybe so. I think if we sit tight we can get some really good players at 21-22 (Taven Bryan, Vita Vea, Derrius Guice, Mason Rudolph, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Christian Kirk, Courtland Sutton and Roquan Smith) The 2nd round and beyond is outside of my knowledge but at 21 and 22 there should be some really good players available.
  6. You have to have a destination before somebody can give you directions. Who is worth the collateral to move past the Jets? Every QB not named Darnold or Rosen is a huge gamble. With 4 picks in RDS 1-2, we can do some serious damage, I'm not willing to give that away unless Darnold or Rosen fall to #3. YMMV.
  7. Who is Rivers, Manning and Ben? Do you know? I'm not sure if I see that guy in this class.
  8. There are other guys I'd prefer at 21 and 22. I really want Taven Bryan, Christian Kirk, Vita Vea, any of the top 5 QBs. If the board fell a certain way, I do think Guice would not disappoint.
  9. Derrius Guice is the guy I want, watch a couple clips of him, tell me he won't be a good pro. He wouldn't just spell Shady, by the end of the year he would replace him entirely.
  10. I think Josh Allen ends up in Buffalo, just a gut feeling. He sits most of the year behind a veteran, comes in late in the year and dominates.
  11. Too many people are starting to catch on to Kirk, he may be there at 21 though maybe maybe he falls with a poor combine. Brown is a ninja, wouldn't mind him RD2.
  12. Trading up to 10, I could see but to #3? I'd pass on that.
  13. I'm hoping a top QB falls to 21, I also like Taven Bryan, Vita Vea and Derrius Guice a lot. In the 2nd round I really like Equanimeous St. Brown and Christian Kirk. It's still early, but these guys I think should be on our radar.
  14. The WWE is a rough sport, it wouldn't make sense for him to land there. Although the fights are scripted, the sport is brutal, he would get hurt just as bad as he did in the NFL while making less money.
  15. I think Darnold goes 1, Rosen 2. I don't think we will trade to 3 for Mayfield or Allen, it could happen, but it would be a really ballsy move.
  16. You know what they say about a man with tiny hands.
  17. I trust Mike Mayock the most out of any draft talking head.
  18. I'm bipolar, even with medication and therapy, you still cycle through depression and mania, albeit #1 not as severe and #2 not as often. The meds will affect him physically, lithium and antipsychotics are tranquilizing and severely diminish your drive.
  19. He worked with Wentz and Foles, played in the NFL for a decade, played in the playoffs as a player, won a Super Bowl as a coach. He has a pretty good resume, doubt he'll ever have a hard time finding work.
  20. Good move. I'm really pulling for Indianapolis now, I think Reich is the right man for the job, may actually be a better coach than McDaniels. Frazier will get his chance soon, he is a good coach. If our defense improves, he'll get offers I'm sure.
  21. We may not get the 'best' QB, but can we get a good enough QB to win lots of games with if we use all those extra picks to build a team around him? That's the question IMO.
  22. Look at the tough guy swearing at the TV at the end. Love tough fans, they're so much more knowledgeable than the coaches and so much tougher than the players.
