  1. Im saying overpaying for star contributed to the cap situation last year. So your assertion it doesn’t matter rings hollow
  2. Wow. All I hear is how they had no cap space last year and the offense was so bad because their hands were tied by all the dead cap. They traded dareus and signed star. Now it doesn’t matter at all?
  3. Not shocked. But could have added another starter in the 3rd. Instead they get another RB with 3 quality yet aging players already on the roster. He’s also small, slow, and already has over 700 carries in college. I know he plays faster on the tape. running back is a position where you don’t need a year to sit and learn. There are countless examples of this.
  4. No way he will be successful. No production. (I don’t actually believe this but it’s used against DK constantly. Knox gets a pass though) I’ve seen offense of line used quite a bit. Not sure if it was an accident at first then others went with it.
  5. Have you ever broken a bone? If so does that mean your fragile? So dumb Cody Ford broke his leg in 2016. Am I concerned? No because I’m not an idiot
  6. Yeah sounds like those two injuries are totally related and a sign that he doesn’t protect his feet or neck properly. Or a coincidence and part of playing a violent game. We’ll see
  7. They only play 12 games in college Besides es are you sure you want to be making a production argument against a prospect when so many of buffalo’s recent draft picks are poster boys for poor college production (Allen, Knox, Oliver’s sack numbers)
  8. Torture the numbers? It’s just the average per game. Pretty simple.
  9. He actually did 1215 yds in 19 games= 63.9yds/game x 16 games = 1023yards per season 12TDs in 19 games = .63TD/game x 16 games = 10TD per season he also averaged over 20yards per catch last season. 4th best I think in college football. Tell me Wilson isn’t going to just chuck it up to him deep at least 5 times a game.
  10. You know. A RB has never been a bust before. This is where I have a problem with people’s assessment of the draft. Every guy we pick is a sure thing. While each WR we passed on has a chance to be a bust.
  11. When dk puts up 1000 & 10 as a rookie what will your excuse be? Russel Wilson is better than Allen is my guess. Even if if it’s not DK, one or more of these receivers is going to be a stud. We decided not to take a lottery ticket. That’s fine but don’t act like it wasn’t suggested we grab one of these guys when a couple are pro bowlers in a few years and Brown/Beasley are 34 years old.
  12. Cant wait for us to run the ball 40 times a game! Why did we even draft a QB?
  13. Just noticed singletary’s 3 cone drill. Interesting DK gets hammered for his time which he improved at the pro day yet singletary gets a pass at a position where that drill might be more important. Not saying it matters or doesn’t, but the rhetoric is telling of a bias
  14. Why does a running back need a year to learn? We see rookie RBs tear it up every year. If anything a wr would need a year in the system to learn so they can be good by year 2-3
  15. I never said their philosophy is is insane, but it will lead to an underwhelming WR group once again. They seem fine with that. So do a lot of Bills fans. I would go another way with it that’s all.
  16. what are the odds none of those receivers end up being pro bowlers? I say at least one makes it next year and others show that potential. Colts already have TY and Funches but they drafted Campbell. There are countless examples of this throughout the draft. We have been ignoring WR for years.
  17. Lets see how many of the wide receivers are good in the NFL. Easy to dismiss them all right now for Bills fans, but before the draft it was considered one of the deepest WR classes ever. My problem with RB in the third is first of all he’s second/third string this upcoming season with McCoy and Gore. You can say they’re looking to the future, ok fine but what about taking a RB next year when those guys are gone? Dip your toe in the deepest wr class in years and if you hit on a #1 WR it’s much more valuable than if you hit on a RB. The WR can be bust but so can the RB. Y’all act like there’s no chance of that happening.
  18. There were still people saying Benjamin was a borderline 1/2 WR and Zay could improve. A lot of ifs just like now. They signed two 30 year old WR and have one 1000 season between them. Other teams with much better wr corps drafted multiple receivers to go with their young qb. Cards drafted one last year and butler and Isabella this year. I say we will be making the WR excuse for Allen again after this season. You disagree I’m guessing. Your camp was wrong last year. We will see about this year.
  19. People who complained about the lack of WR after last year’s draft and before the season were proven correct. We will see if they are right again.
  20. Dont want to hear the lack of weapons/online excuses this season. How many 14-13 final score games do you want to sit through?
  21. You could be right but I think his tackling issues were the result of not wanting to lose millions of dollars ironically causing him to lose millions of dollars. His effort will improve in the pros I suspect.
  22. Fair enough. I’m ok with getting greedy or Murphy just because they’re graded as 1st rounders. But I’m still concerned about the offense
  23. WR has been a need since they traded Sammy. Our skill position players on offense don’t scare anybody. Yes it it looks better than last year but that was said after we traded for Benjamin
  24. Ability was the same. But didn’t have as much production because of the large amount of NT snaps. I’m fine with the pick but a lot of other DTs had similar/better pass rushing production and advanced stats even from 3tech.
