Would you trade a high 2020 draft choice for AB?

Why don’t you tell us what he would have “done to” Allen -
Did we land a top 5 GM in Beane?

Antonio Brown has more td catches last season than Buffalo had passing TDS. Adding him makes it impossible for anyone to make excuses if Allen can’t produce. Right now it’s very possible I’m hearing excuses next offseason. Brown/Beasley have a combined 1 1,000 yard season. I never said he’s the only weapon on the planet but thanks for putting words into my mouth. I’m only trying to give Beane credit for trading for the best player at our biggest need position. Beane didn’t back out Brown did. -

Weird. Well don’t want to hear lack of weapons for an excuse for Allen from you then. -

Nope. Having the best receiver (or at least top 3) on what is essentially a 2 year deal when we have plenty of cap space this year and next would have been nice. Would have left no excuses for Allen. There is no aspect of the AB deal that is a negative. You didn’t counter anything he said. Just pointed out that it’s negative. -

Stop with this. AB didn't want to come here it's a FACT. -
We had Sammy. All we had to do was not trade him and not draft Zay. Then maybe we could evaluate our young QB without making excuses for his lack of weapons. Your point about maybin is interesting. At least Maybin wasn’t a negative by dropping passes. I’ll take a zero over a negative any day. Aaron Maybin also never embarrassed himself and the franchise with a naked blood video in the off-season. I’ll take Aaron Maybin today if it means Zay is cut.

Will the Bills move up for Quinnen Williams?

Hes on the chiefs. He had the catch that would have sent them to the super bowl if Dee Ford doesn’t go Offside -

Over 2,000 yards in first 2 seasons with Orton, EJ, and Tyrod throwing to him. Still better than any receiver we’ve had since -

How did that work out? We got a WR (a position everyone here keeps pointing out doesn’t usually translate to immediate NFL success) who put up 2,000 yards and 15tds in his first two seasons with Kyle Orton, EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor throwing to him. -
Unpopular Take. The Bills should trade for Rosen

Maybe because the last 3 comments are “this is dumb!” 10 pages of people trying to have an intelligent conversation about player/draft pick value and player development. Surrounded by “this is dumb!” Posts to bump the thread. -
Already wondering what the excuses will be for when Metcalf is dominating. I get the feeling the word hindsight will be used a lot. “Elite WR don’t win Super Bowls anyway” ”he wouldn’t have done well in OUR offense” ”the Impact of the DT we drafted doesn’t show up on the stat sheet” The only legit reason not to draft him is if the injury is lingering and serious, but I’ll leave that to the doctors.

Only correct answer. Was anyone afraid of the skill players on Buffalo, Baltimore or Dallas last season? Nope, but we got the best them! i want 2 #1 WRs. The lines can be filled in with mid-late round picks and free agents. Dangerous wide receivers are very hard to get. Edit: elite pass rusher is a close second but Hughes is underrated -
There would have been no risk of that is what I'm saying. They have more than enough space for the next two years. No one to re-sign in that time either. Look it up, and look at AB's contract. It would have ended right when we need to start re-signing Tre White and a year before Allen/Edmunds contracts are up. 3rd year carries only 300k dead cap if cut, or 17mil if he's still good at that age. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/oakland-raiders/antonio-brown-6702/ Give it a rest
