  1. Division title? That’s laughable. Playoffs? It’s possible we can be in the hunt but consider the Browns(OBJ++) and Titans(Humphries, Saffold) getting players many around here wanted pre-free agency. Not to mention Jets have superior playmakers with Bell, Anderson, Enunwa, Crowder. They also added Osemele. Free agency isnt over and the draft is still to come, but let’s remember other teams are making moves too. I see this every year on this board. People get blinders for the Bills addition/draft picks. Overall I’m pretty happy with what they’ve done so far but I’m not convinced they’re a playoff team.
  2. We need a WR as bad or worse than a DT was my point. We took a DT (with attitude issues) pretty high years ago and I was told he was BPA at the time. AJ Green was selected immediately after.
  3. The idea you pass on dk metcalf because you signed John Brown is pretty darn funny to me as well.
  4. Not to nitpick but Foster ran a 4.41. I'm optimistic about him and Brown's speed but they are both still question marks for me. I would have preferred to spend this money on the o line and swing for a couple game breakers in the draft.
  5. These are all mediocre players, but I do like the speed of Brown.
  6. He wants to fight for Jesus. Some people can't forgive that embarassing video coupled with all his drops.
  7. Nah they already got at least a 3rd next year for Brown
  8. Actually he does say he heard they are interested AND he would love to see it happen, boom?
  9. needs to be the pick. Don' t tell me "a lineman" is a bigger need. There are plenty of OT and G available in free agency and while DT MIGHT be a safer choice depending on who is available at 9, taking one would in my eyes be an admission that either the Star signing and/or Phillips pick were mistakes.
  10. I knew it wouldn’t be long before someone said this. Allen’s numbers aren’t good because he has inferior receivers but try to get good receivers and they won’t be successful here because the QB isn’t as good. Circular-loser-mentality logic.
  11. Who? DK all the way. I like the TEs and OTs but the difference in potential from them to the potential free agents isn't as big as the difference between DK and the available WRs. That's before you consider the price difference as well. There's no way to get a #1 WR this offseason outside of hitting on one in the draft. There are plenty of starting caliber TE an OTs available so hopefully we can snag them.
  12. How do all the homers feel about Beane now that he was about to trade for Brown who they consider a cancer? I'm seeing a lot of cognitive dissonance where people are bashing Brown but ignoring the fact that Beane traded for him only to have Brown nix the deal.
  13. Believe what? Why is it so unbelievable that they would give a new contract to a guy they just traded for? Same thing happened with LeSean McCoy
  14. Phew, that was close, we almost had the best receiver in the league. I would have hated to be able to evalutate our young QB without excuses. Wouldn;t want a "headcase" like Brown ruining Zay Jones' fragile mental state.
  15. While we are throwing opinions out as fact Metcalf will be one of the top 5 receivers in the league within 3 years if not sooner. Even if his cone numbers mean he literally can only run one direction I’m ok with that. (But I think that’s oberblown) How often did Calvin Johnson or Randy moss just run straight knowing their speed and size were enough bc there just isn’t anyone on the defense with the combo to match? And Im not buying a Stephen Hill or Heyward Bey comparison retort because D.K. was considered a top WR prospect since before this season maybe longer for reasons other than elite athleticism. Those guys only flew up draft boards last minute due to workouts.
  16. Last year in the lead up to the draft i heard him twice say that Andrew Luck has never made the playoffs. Both times he was trying to make a point about how getting a great QB prospect like luck doesn't guarantee success. He used the state of the Colts as an example and topped it off with "Andrew luck has never made the playoffs!" He did this on two separate occasions about a month apart.
