How can you say there's no consequence when Allen had to go in early OR, depending on your philosophy on QB development, missed the first team reps he should have been getting all preseason? It was a disaster all around. If you're trying to say now its over with and no harm done, then I'm saying the decision making could just be faulty overall Morse, Edmunds, The attempt to trade for Antonio Brown, the defense aside from the Dareus for Star swap, Allen might end up being their saving grace if he develops, but they really didn't make that easy for him. Tyrod trade was good value but negated by KB trade trying to think of more

No one is suggesting we do anything TO THEM. We are simply stating our displeasure with many moves made by this regime. This thread was about high praise for the coach and GM. Some fans strongly disagree that they are doing a good job, that's all. Not sure why I have to explain what is happening, but here we are.

Thats because it’s nonsense. Every single one of the players they traded or let go besides Glenn have been to the championship game or super bowl. The other example in hockey recently is Oreilly winning the cup and conn smyth. Evander Kane making the WCF. The same argument was made that they poison locker rooms. Turns out having a bad coach will do a lot more damage than a frustrated but talented player. Now I suppose this is where you’ll tell me they changed their attitude after leaving. Or that they weren’t the BEST player on their new team so it worked out somehow.

No it’s not. It’s a debate about whether the GM is doing a good job. Nothing more nothing less. You’re using that as a cop out. As soon as you get to a dead end in your logic it’s “what does it matter anyway?! Let’s just move on” And that is childish not grownup. I agree and. No i don’t think they should never make one. I just noticed a trend of poor decisions. Some obvious, some are just my opinion. But the Dareus trade is an obvious one as is the QB situation to start the season.

Shallow? I just want you to be aware that the personal insults are starting to fly from a few ppl and I’m not one of them. Seems to be a trend when someone tries to be the least bit critical of this coach or GM. I don’t care what he admits to. It was a mistake. It’s a negative stain on his record as a GM. He has made a lot of them in my opinion. Hopefully it works out. We will see.

He had to admit his mistake. It was one of the most obvious GM failures in recent memory. You don’t get “credit” for admitting you caused an obvious disaster. As far as Dareus goes. They could’ve had more patience. Same with oreilly and the sabres. They’re just overreacting to perceived character issues and losing talented players for nothing. His former coach had no problem being reunited with him. Ok but this is a thread debating whether or not the coach/GM are doing a good job. Some people think trading Dareus was a big mistake and should be taken into consideration in such a conversation.

Ok now I'm confused. A few posts ago you said "I haven't been involved in an argument suggesting Dareus's absence didn't negatively impact the defense when it obviously did." Now you're saying his premise is faulty? I was only pointing out your desire to change the subject, which you have been successful, because here we are discussing which stretch was technically worse for the defense which doesn't matter at all. Dareus was a key part of the defense during a playoff run and the decision to trade him had a negative impact. That's his premise, that's what you disagree with in the bold, but agree with in the above quoted statement.

Yes it is laziness because my whole point is it doesn''t matter if there was another 3 game stretch that was worse. No need to embarrass yourself further by attempting to use the same insult twice. Apparently you don''t know what a drama club is. It reminds me of the time my dad thought the secret service's main job was to keep secrets.
