  1. Sounds good to me, and I agree, but alas our next signing will probably be Taiwan Jones
  2. Incorrect. Living in Charlotte I can tell you the dude is very good. However, he would fit best in a power scheme where he's fed the ball 20 times a game. That is the opposite of our offensive identity
  3. Yeah it seems most Chiefs fans aren't too upset about him leaving. Not sure this is something for Bills fans to freak out about
  4. I remember watching this at Magruders Pub in Depew. It looked like it was going to be a long day when the Jets jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but the Bills rallied. This was part of the 3 game stretch in 1990 when Buffalo pulled off 4th quarter comebacks and when it really started to feel like the season could be special
  5. Hit the nail on the head here. The media loves talking about Rodgers, and the story involves a NY team, so everyone loses sight of all the things you mention and just succumbs to the hype
  6. Sure but why would the Packers be ok with getting the Jets pick next year instead of the current one? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense from their perspective, unless they want to have enough ammo in 2024 to take another shot at a qb should Love flop.
  7. For 2 second round picks it's a no brainer lol. I would do it in a heartbeat for 1 third
  8. Fortunately it seems the Bills agree with this line of thinking. As productive as Poyer has been, you don't spend significant money for a 32 year old player at a non premium position given our limited resources
  9. ROI is virtually negative. Basham, Epenesa, Jefferson, Butler, Lotulelei, Oliver, Settle, Lawson, etc. Not one of these guys was/is even close to a difference maker. It's really discouraging. Our regime has made numerous poor mistakes and misappropriated assets to such an extreme degree in one direction while still having little to show for it.
  10. This is just a horrendous take
  11. Hell no. You are insane to trade valuable picks for a past his prime receiver on the last year of his contract. This can't be serious, right?
  12. Agreed, but he also hasn't really flashed the immense potential upside of a game changing player. For once I would like the Bills to draft an edge rusher with the actual speed to threaten the corner. Sans Miller, even old man Jerry Hughes is better than what is on our roster in terms of putting immediate heat on the qb
  13. LaCanfora might be the biggest joke reporter the NFL has ever seen
  14. I had always wanted to see Burt Bacharach do the halftime show, but sadly this is no longer a possibility
  15. Allen had the highest QB rating in history prior to the Bengals game. I guess I can pull useful stats for his postseason career too. But I'm glad that Mahomes throwing for 180 to wide open receivers has you excited. God what I would give to have Andy Reid as our coach Appreciate the clarification 👍
  16. Seen you mention this a couple times now. Do you think Allen (or any QB) would be turning it over in the red zone if their coaches are scheming guys open by a country mile?
  17. It pretty clearly is from my view
  18. Don't see how that's not a catch. Left foot was still down
  19. I know he is well regarded, but hasn't the performance of our receivers besides Diggs been considered underwhelming?Coaching would seem to play a part in that imo
  20. Among the 5 greatest plays in the history of Bills football
  21. An optimistic view at this point but I expect us to at the very least be no worse statistically next year. Definitely agree on Tre - people here have given up on him way too quickly. However, none of this will matter in the end (i.e. playoffs) if we continue to deploy the same passive, Mickey Mouse scheme that has failed us before
  22. Exactly. Joe B is generally pretty good but the section on Frazier was hilariously uncritical. Spare me the inflated regular season numbers his soft defense racks up against sub par competition. Any decent QB we play shreds us and Frazier has shown repeatedly he has no answers
  23. Is the OP trying to imply that Josh has 27 kids?
  24. I think I am going to start a thread comparing Rosie O'Donnell to Scarlett Johannson
