  1. Am I crazy for wanting the Colts to win this game? I don't believe they're a contender regardless, especially given their start. But I would like them to have some momentum going into next weeks matchup against the Titans.
  2. Cleveland's 3rd string running back was just as effective and Keenum is a good veteran. The Broncos also have a significant amount of injuries themselves. Yet, the Browns eked out a 17-14 victory at home in a must win game. They are clearly underachieving on both sides of the ball.
  3. Denver looks like one of the worst teams in football
  4. The two biggest issues are #1 and #3. Our pass protection was abysmal for most of the night against an inferior defense, and Levi as CB2 again stuck out like a sore thumb. I don't think Tre gave up a single completion last night but we need to upgrade the spot opposite him.
  5. Yep I was screaming as I'm sure all Bills fans were when it happened, but McD pretty much confirmed this in his presser
  6. I believe strongly that we should be looking at a trade to upgrade the interior OL or 2nd CB. This is a championship caliber team, and I for one am ready to push my chips to the middle of the table to fortify our few weaknesses and chase a Lombardi this year. Admittedly I have no idea who might be available lol
  7. Agreed OP. The Oline stunk and it was pretty evident what Daboll thought when they spent most of the 2nd half in max protect. I'll forgive Spencer Brown as he is a rookie, but the rest of the line was pretty much horrible as well and has little excuse.
  8. He played a good game, but that sack he took on 2nd and 10 with Sweeney wide open in the 3rd qtr was a huge momentum play for Tennessee. Getting 0 points when our defense couldn't stop a nose bleed really hurt. Still, he was definitely not the reason we lost. The defense has to be better.
  9. I feel like this was a game where we needed to establish a good working lead and we were never able to achieve that. The Titans had us coming and going and literally every success they had in the passing game came from the linebackers being sucked up to try to stop Henry. The way to get around that is to get ahead and make Tennessee one dimensional. We failed miserably in that regard
  10. Agreed, or at minimum snag the 2 seed to have at least 2 home games like last year. Right now unfortunately we are 4th out of the 4 division leaders. I know we have some decent success at times with the qb sneak, but does it not seem like we struggle overall with the play? We make the sneak look awfully difficult sometimes, especially with a 6 foot 5 240 pound qb. Why can't we execute like the Pats did with Brady all those years...
  11. You could make the argument to just kick it through the end zone, but I understand what the Bills were doing. It worked for the most part save the last return.
  12. Time will tell and I appreciate your point of view. I think the facemask was not called because it wasn't an impediment and the pass was pretty much uncatchable. Meyers is a a good player, but you guys are still severely lacking in weaponry. Doesn't seem the Henry/Smith combo is quite as good as hyped either. Go Bills!
  13. I understand the reasons for not flexing games year round, but this matchup should make the NFL rethink its policy
  14. Have to take issue here. Dallas scored on the 3rd down before the Prescott fumble and amassed over 100 yards in penalties, so the Pats were definitely not hosed lol. Jones looks decent, but the main concern coming out was his upside. I believe that remains the case. Borne and Meyers are not quality wideouts even as secondary options - I think Jacobi is at best a strong WR3. I feel like the roles are reversed and Pats fans are in a position that was all too familiar to Bills supporters - convincing yourself that the personnel on your team is better than it really is.
  15. I agree with you. These things tend not to encourage progress in cooperative deal-making but stifle it. Hope I am wrong but I fear the repercussions if a vocal minority is able to control the narrative and influence public perception.
  16. I'd prefer the Chargers over Baltimore but honestly believe LAC is the bigger threat to home field given both teams schedules. Baltimore still has all 6 games to play in the division, plus matchups against GB and the Rams. LAC's schedule by comparison looks relatively easy, with a KC rematch arguably the toughest remaining game. So, go Ravens
  17. Jeff Posey or Mark Anderson hands down. Real impact players!
  18. Lamar played great, but I can't believe how soft the Colts were towards the end of the game. It was honestly pathetic despite them being shorthanded. What happened to the aggression that slowed him down for 2 1/2 quarters? Also lost in the outcome was Wentz of all people threw for 402 yards. Not much defense was being played on either side including the vaunted Baltimore unit.
  19. It's pretty amazing how the game turned on David Culley's decision making. He seems out of his depth
  20. Remember how excited everyone was after the comeback against Carolina? You couldn't find an E.J. jersey in town to save your life lol. We've come a long way
  21. Geno is so bad I would rather have Kelly Stouffer, Dan McGwire, or Rick Mirer
