  1. Have the Republicans not lost 6 of the last 7 popular votes? Do they not recognize that their singular focus on social matters is a political loser with the general electorate? Why is this so hard to understand? You must be the one living in an alternate universe. You see, I deal in facts, and the simple reality is that the Republican party appeals to smaller and smaller groups of people and is on the wrong end of the vast majority of polling issues
  2. When will the right wing nut jobs ever learn? The Republican Party isn't even a political party with policy principles anymore, just a vehicle for promoting rage against certain social issues and viewpoints. And when they get annihilated in the next election AGAIN, they still won't have figured out why. Being the loudest and angriest group does not equate to being in the majority. If they ever realize the folly of their ways, Republicans will return to winning meaningful national races.
  3. I agree but Frazier is still not the guy to lead a real championship caliber defense. His soft tendencies work well statistically over the course of a long regular season, but not against the cream of the crop in the playoffs. Much respect to Leslie, but I'm glad he is gone
  4. Yes. If we're having the season we hope we do and he is a big contributor, there is zero chance he is dealt mid year
  5. Yep. Will be interesting to see the impact on how many teams will now adopt the strategy of calling for a fair catch on kicks short of the end zone. Obviously the quality of returner, hang time, etc. will also play a role. The Bills have often liked to pooch the ball short with Bass to the 5-7 yard line and see if they can pin a team deep on the return to gain field position. I wonder if this new rule will effectively end that dynamic. And if so, as others have said, why not just eliminate the play altogether?
  6. I would drop by Bailey and Minnesota Ave. I'm sure it would be a welcoming experience. But seriously, just avoid the East Side. Buffalo is not nearly as rough as advertised
  7. This ought to end well
  8. Hopkins is not the player he once was, but there is little doubt in my mind he would be a stud as #2 in our offense with Allen throwing the ball. The only on field concern would be his health
  9. Somehow I don't think Josh is hurting in that department, with or without Brittany
  10. This is exactly where I'm at. No matter how many times I analyze the schedule, I can't come away with anything outside the range you mentioned
  11. Damn good schedule. Should be able to get off to a solid start. Late bye and key games at the end of the season when hopefully Von will be rounding into form. Only 1 west coast trip. Extra time before Chiefs and Bengals. Really not much to complain about imo
  12. I don't disagree, but I keep seeing the Zach Wilson point brought up (mostly from Jets fans) without acknowledging the decimated Bills defense we trotted out there
  13. And all 4 members of the Bills starting secondary plus Edmunds out
  14. Any news on if there will be piss troughs? We need better reporting on this
  15. There's still some concern there for sure. Sherfield is mainly a ST player. Harty could be a nice player for us, but I have a bad feeling that his diminutive size will lead to constant nagging injuries, like another Marquise Goodwin. Shakir is the guy who could really elevate this group. There is reason for optimism given the signs he flashed in his rookie season. Overall I would rank the unit somewhere in the 10-15 range. Not bad, but you can certainly see why Hopkins has been a hot topic of discussion.
  16. First thing that jumped out to me. The NFC is pathetic. I don't see any scenario other than an injury to Hurts where they win less than 12 games
  17. What does Kelce's age or likelihood to hit 1000 yards again have to do with Kincaid becoming Kelce?
  18. Couldn't agree more with your last sentence. While I was fine with letting Edmunds walk and am cautiously optimistic about our in house replacement options, I do worry about our ability to stop the run. At the moment I feel we could be easily overpowered by a physical team with a strong commitment to the ground game, a la the Bengals playoff game. Other than DT I view OT depth as the biggest question mark. Let's hope Beane will address these areas before we go into the season
  19. Gotta think that Klein will find his way onto the roster. I'm curious to see how Doyle may look coming off the injury. 2 years ago he was basically the swing tackle, and he is still a very young player. Hopefully he shows enough to where Quessenberry is not needed
  20. Does Torrence fit the Bills blocking scheme or overall pass happy philosophy? I thought he was considered to be a better fit on a power run oriented team
  21. I'd absolutely be fine with this. Quality not quantity. I'd also be willing to part with a 3rd or 4th from next year knowing there is likely a 3rd round comp headed our way.
  22. I was a bigger fan of Derek Schouman, Derek Fine, and Shawn Nelson
  23. Not a fan either. Glad it wasn't defense, but hard to not feel underwhelmed trading up after failing to land one of the top receivers
  24. Never friggin fails
