  1. And Chargers seem to find a way to lose. Perfect storm.
  2. Or being unable to focus on both o line and d line in the early rounds. He did draft 3 o linemen, the earliest being Brown in the third.
  3. Actually it was a bit lower. Herbert barking out the signals after that were higher pitched.
  4. Daboll seems to insist on that.
  5. Heyward wondering why he got flagged? Seriously????
  6. Or perhaps the coaches. I also believe the play of his team today really surprised him.
  7. Happy for your well-earned windfall...but don't waste your money.
  8. That was Andre. I knew he got cut by Houston but was unaware the Chargers signed him.
  9. Andre Roberts is on the Chargers now?
  10. I didn't get that impression from Allen. Allen believes this is a good football team and that this game doesn't represent who they are. He knows they need to bounce back on a short week. Knox really didn't say much. However...I did get that impression from Dawkins. It was almost a "shrug your shoulders" kind of respone.
  11. I don't disagree. I've already reached that conclusion. I also think Daboll is holding the offense back with his "one size fits all" game planning.
  12. I don't doubt he's trying but things really go downhill when this team...especially the defense...experiences adversity.
  13. I think McD was talking about the way they played. Too many mental errors leading to mistakes, penalties etc. The players were up for the game. They did not play well and mental errors contributed to their poor play.
  14. Actually McD admitted they were not focused and mentally in the game. He also said it started with him.
  15. Don't get me wrong. I'm not excusing their poor play or the poor coaching. We lost to a very poor Jags team which we should have beaten, even with backups. Against the Colts we needed to be at 100% to stand a chance at matching up against them.
  16. It was really hard hearing the questions, but from what I did hear it didn't sound like they were lobbing softballs. I get the impression McD was really po'd...not just because of how poorly they played but also about the circumstances that led up to who was available to play.
  17. I don't know why I expected we'd see that this week after playing that way last week and winning big. It didn't matter that it was against the Jets. That kind of offense keeps opposing defenses from setling in.
  18. I agree with you. Daboll schemes against the supposed weaknesses of the opposing defense without taking into consideration the weaknesses and short comings of his own offense. If an opposing defense knows what's coming, good coaches will adjust their scheme to throw the opposition off balance.
  19. It all depends on the timing of those player losses as well. Against the Colts...a good, hot team, we needed to be as close to 100% as possible. Instead we're down 2 starters on the o line, our starting MLB and 2 on the D line (don't forget we're missing Zimmer as well). That said, a better game plan on both sides of the ball was needed to overcome those losses.
  20. We're also out Zimmer on D, which totally slipped my mind.
  21. What you say about the o line is true. Plus, I forgot that we're also missing Zimmer. He is huge on this d line.
  22. I thought he learned from last week's results...where being under center helped Josh and the offense. At this juncture he's just being stubborn.
  23. I was really surprised at today's game plan, keeping Josh in shot gun.
  24. I agree with Atlanta and New York. I also believe we can beat Tampa (yes....they are not a physical team and their Defense is not great this year), I believe we can beat the Panthers, and I expect us to split with the Patriots. This all presupposes we get players back from injury and covid reserve.
  25. I'm not being Pollyanna. I'm being realistic. The Bills are flawed, clearly. They do not match well against physical teams due to the lack of physicality on both lines. When one or two key pieces are missing, the team falls apart completely. They are not good enough as currently built to win a Super Bowl but at this juncture, I'm not seeing anyone that's running away with either conference. I expect the Bills will make the playoffs, not because they are so good, but the rest of the conference teams are still beatable. They will likely finish with a lower seeding and then we'll see.
