That's why I am defending him. Hamlin isn't an amazing player, but he certainly isn't bad. He is a serviceable starter. Should we upgrade? Sure. But he is not a terrible liability out there like everyone is saying.
-
This guy is just crapping on every player he can. Best to ignore him.
-
He's really not. Fans are piling on him for little reason. He has been a decent player this year.
-
I think they wanted to get Bishop playing time, especially since he is more of a SS. I wonder if Edwards would play if Hamlin was out.
-
He is also not a starter. That's why he isn't playing.
-
He isn't playing because he isn't a starter.

Bills (still) bringing in kickers for tryout: Brayden Narveson
MJS replied to PirateHookerMD's topic in The Stadium Wall
Works for me. If he has a good workout, sign him for a minimum deal and give Bass his walking papers. -
It's a factor because the original cap hit was not going to be $30 million. That money escalated into this year.
-
Getting rid of Diggs also gave us 30+ million in dead money. That's the real kicker. But if he didn't want to be here, it is better to have him gone.

Is Tom Brady Part Owner of Raiders a Conflict of Interest?
MJS replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, he'll say more favorable things about the Raiders while he is calling games? Who cares? That doesn't actually impact anything tangible.- 91 replies

Allen did not say he should have thrown 5 or 6 INT's, and if he did, he's wrong.
-
I normally like them alright and I think they did fine. But Aikman's comment that Allen should have thrown 5 or 6 INT's so far this season was just asinine and completely false. I think that is what a lot of fans got hung up on.

Hamlin beat Edwards out for the job. Edwards also spent time injured, which gave Hamilin more of an opportunity to do that. But there is no doubt the Hamlin had a strong camp and preseason and earned that job. He was often a standout in practices.

He is a starting caliber safety, just not up to the standard that we became accustomed to with Hyde and Poyer. There are plenty of safeties starting out there in the league that are a similar caliber player as him. But, he isn't an impact starter. He is a base level starter.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
MJS replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was never about being better immediately. It was about moving on from guys they needed to and resetting the room, which can take more than just one season. Diggs was a malcontent and forced himself off the roster. Davis was going to get paid way more than he deserved. He is not going to be on the field 70% of the time week 1. I'm sure he'll learn a package of plays, but there is no way he'll be fully ready in less than a week. -
They should at least work out some kickers.
-
This is the first game he has gotten any significant touches. He only had a handful throughout the season up to this point. So, any opinion about him you had was based on a very small sample size.
-
I thought Spencer Brown's penalty was pretty tame. I guess it was for that final little shove, but it wasn't even that hard. Everything before that was during the play and normal football. Olineman are allowed to pancake defenders like that.
-
And everyone heard it nationally on prime time about Josh Allen, so they will believe it. That comment from Aikman really did a lot of harm.
-
If the tuck rule does not apply to that, what the heck does it apply to? They need to change the rule if so. Rodgers was clearly NOT trying to throw the ball. That should be a fumble all day.
-
Good. This isn't the time of the year that you want to be the best team in the league.
-
I think he was talking about the stupid graphics they always do for MNF, with Allen and Rodgers dancing.
