They put their hands on their heads in mock surprise as a joke, just to make people think that Beane was saying something shocking. But it was just a joke. Hey, I wouldn't be mad if Kupp was on our team. He is a great player, when healthy. But it would sure shake up the receiver room. Shakir is in that slot role, and Kupp is a slot player. Still, you can never have enough weapons. But I don't see it happening.

Apparently the Giants are cutting Boogie

Beane got rid of him already... -
Why are these things that people vote for? Just assign the award based on merit and move on with your day, Pepsi...

Definately a head scratching pick by Beane at the time. -
I love it.

2018 QB draft and passer rating rankings this season
MJS replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
They aren't very forthcoming in what all goes into QBR, but it accounts for rushing production as well as passing production. -
I'm glad the Ravens are peaking right now instead of heading into the playoffs.

Dang. Lamar Jackson is having a great year.

That was just a dumb pass by Mayfield. I can forgive the first INT because the defender circled back into the passing lane. It was great movement by the defender. The 2nd one, though...

Josh Allen is #1 in QBR! Not that I like that stat very much anyway... -

They are all vastly different styles of QBs, too. I'm glad Darnold and Mayfield are turning things around with better organizations. And being in the NFC with the lower level of QB talent will give them more opportunities. -
That was a hip drop tackle on Flowers. Should have been called.

Is he allowed to practice while suspended?

Personnel changes is another factor. It's not all coaching. Also, I guess if I could choose a quarter to be bad at, it would be the 1st quarter. I remember the 2nd and 3rd quarter lulls in the Daboll years. Those were rough. At least we've always been good in the 4th quarter. That's the most important one.

Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
MJS replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's on pace for about 790 yards and 5 TDs. That would be a good rookie year.- 163 replies

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
MJS replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
If that happens, Schoen has a job here with Beane, I'm sure. We can welcome him back. -

Crazy that he only has 2 pro bowls.

The Bills beat the Titans because of you... (superstition/karma reasons)

I took my 8-year-old son to his first game this year, too! Unfortunately, it was the Houston game, haha. But everything was perfect other than the last second field goal. Bummer. -
We need to be a lot better on special teams
MJS replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think he is fine. I think he is a below average punter. His idea of pinning the other team deep is kicking it to the 18 yard line. He needs to be trying to pin teams inside the 5. Neither his hang time or distance is good with any consistency. I hope we upgrade next year. Bass at least has a big leg. If he turns it around he can be a dynamic kicker. That's a big if, and his seat should be very hot, but Martin doesn't have a big leg to begin with. I just don't think he has the ability to be a good punter. Can he be ok? Yes. -

Martin is mediocre. He can't boom the ball and only has modest hang time. All the punt issues are on him. No punts have actually been blocked. I'm not going to complain about near blocks. That happens every game for every team. Martin needs to still deliver a good punt even when there is pressure. The FG blocks are on Bass. His scatter shot kicks are sometimes barely over the line and easily tipped by just reaching your hand up. Coddington makes good decisions and is dynamic with the ball in his hand. He is great, not just decent. -

Because I was busy and couldn't watch most of the first half. Once I turned it on, the Bills started kicking butt. -
I just found it to be a show with paid actors about hyping up fans for their respective teams. The angry runs thing was fun the first couple of times, and then it got old very fast.

The show was never for me anyway. Not my kind of thing.
