  1. Sam Bradford. That dude was a highway robber in the NFL. He fleeced the NFL for $129 million. Jones is only at about $72 million in career earnings, according to over the cap.
  2. Yeah, that is why he is less insufferable. He used to say really stupid, smug things that were just annoying and incredibly biased. Now he just praises everyone, which means he is less likely to say something stupid.
  3. Who was the poster that kept saying we were in for a rough season and would miss the playoffs? He was super annoying about it and acted like he knew something the rest of us didn't.
  4. Collinsworth is strangely growing on me. I think he has become less insufferable.
  5. That should happen as well.
  6. I would argue that if you are getting robbed by them, that is a good reason to adapt and inconvenience yourself to protect yourself and your property.
  7. Jenna needs to change her name to Karen.
  8. I think it was mainly the fact he was getting hit immediately over and over, haha.
  9. I'm assuming this means that the Bills are also blitzed a lot? Blitzing often means that you have to have man coverage on the back end. There are zone blitzes, of course, but I do believe that Allen gets blitzed a lot.
  10. Why? He can go run a team for awhile and get some great experience (plus a huge paycheck), and then come back and get his old job back with the Bills. Seems like a good deal.
  11. I don't believe it is coming from their fanbase. It is probably the media who's sole purpose seems to be to divide and outrage these days.
  12. Well, there are some here claiming that it was three black men who did it. I'm not sure what exactly that means, but I think it probably was not of racist intent if that is indeed the case. But this is a football forum and nobody here is going to convince anyone of anything. I think this thread should get locked and we should all move on with our day.
  13. McCaffrey? He has been out injured all season!!
  14. I'll just add that white people used to get lynched as well. It happened to a lot of people back then, sometimes because they were criminals. I'm not excusing the practice or that it happened out of racism to black people. That is also a fact. I just wanted to bring proper historical context that lynching was commonly done back then to a lot of different groups for a variety or reasons. Over time, in the late 1800s, it began to be used as a tool of racism specifically targeting blacks, but even then it still happened to white people. The noose itself isn't from the practice of lynching, though. It comes from public executions by way of hanging which has been going on for a long, long time and is not a racial thing.
  15. It's a little odd. A song about a girl cheating on a guy. But whatever.
  16. Without Sammy Watkins or Robert Woods, plus a number of other departures. They unloaded a lot of talent to the point they were accused nationally of tanking. Regardless, though, I was joking. Dennison wasn't a good coordinator, which is why he got fired after one season.
  17. It doesn't appear that they used a noose.
  18. I was joking. I agree that Dorsey was not a bad coordinator, but I think he was not the best fit with Allen.
  19. Yeah, Dennison got handed a poor deck of cards and he didn't even get fired mid-season like Dorsey, so maybe he should rank ahead of Dorsey!
  20. Teams usually make it easier on young QBs, though. They aren't always asking their young QB to do what Josh Allen is doing. They scheme things up. They give them simple reads that take away half the field. They use motion and simple rules to identify things. They are given the opportunity to progress and master the mental side of the game until they are able to process more complex things like what Josh Allen and other franchise QBs do on plays like that. That's why dumb QBs like Ryan Tannehill can have some success. Their coaches do all the thinking for them and they heavily scheme and design plays to make it simple for their QB. everything Ryan Tennehill ever did in the NFL was heavily manufactured for him. And he had the athleticism to scramble when things broke down and required him to actually think. He could never step into the Bills offense and run it with any level of success.
  21. Because they wanted the defensive backs covering the hail mary. I think you are reading too much into that one play. They dropped some guys toward the sidelines just in case the Jets wanted a cheap completion. Coleman could have been on the field, sure. But it is pretty common for defenses to defend the hail mary with just defenders, not with offensive players. Sometimes you get beat. Sometimes the other team makes a play. The play call was not a dumb as you are saying. You may not agree with it, but it doesn't mean they didn't have their reasons. They were trying to account for all the possibilities.
  22. Fans might not agree, but they were also defending the sidelines for the possibility that they would complete one and then kick a field goal. That was a possibility, despite what fans say. If the Bills went all in on the hail mary and the Jets completed an easy one and got out of bounds and kicked a field goal, fans would be moaning about that as well. It's just how it is sometimes. Cover 1 broke that play down and came to the same conclusion. Anyway, we can agree to disagree. Regardless of who is to blame, they have to figure it out in the playoffs and get it done.
  23. They keep showing it everywhere, so probably 20 by now. It is awesome every time.
