  1. Wow, so how did he build a top 5 team in the NFL? The Bills have one of the most talented teams in the league.
  2. Olinemen grab on every single play. You just have to know when to let go to not get called for holding.
  3. Don't overreact to preseason games. I watched him scramble in the first game and take a small hit as he slid. What a lie.
  4. It might be a platoon at the position. Dodson and Klein on potential run downs, Bernard on passing downs. Not ideal. McDermott will need to scheme around them. I don't know how realistic it is to bring in a new MLB and expect him to start, especially given they need to call plays and lead the defense. That ship has sailed, I think.
  5. I think that is a good example of a game where a few things go wrong in the beginning and it just spirals out of control after that. There are going to be games like that, sometimes. Luckily, this was the preseason. Also, it takes superstars like Josh Allen to stop the spiral, and he is certainly capable of that. Even when everything is going wrong, he can still string plays together to make it a positive. Pretty incredible, and if this was a real game and he played the entire thing, I think he would have righted the ship and changed the momentum. Also, it was clear to me that McDermott ran a more vanilla defense. Obviously, there was no game planning or in-game adjustments, etc. It's preseason. The two big issues are the penalties and the bad QB play behind Allen. I do think Dawkins is a little overrated, and I think it is because fans enjoy his personality. He has some good games, but he also has bad games. Overall, he is an average player who can be streaky.
  6. I think you could put rankings 10 through 20 in a hat and draw them out in any order you want. I don't think there is much difference there between those teams.
  7. It's pretty rare to have good starters at every single position. I don't think it is the case for any team in the NFL, including the Chiefs, Bengals, and any other good team out there. And there will always be one or two positions of concern for the Bills, no matter what. That is just how it is in the NFL. There will be strengths and weaknesses for every team.
  8. That mindset is how you get hurt. If you play scared, you actually put yourself at risk. You have to be confident and all-in.
  9. The conservatorship and his rookie contract are two different things. He could have understood one and not the other.
  10. He probably just let his agent do everything. Many NFL players just focus on football and sign the papers their agents tell them to sign.
  11. The only accident I have ever been in is when I stopped at a stop sign and a motorcyclist plowed into me. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but he left a big dent in my bumper that his insurance paid for. I see motorcyclists do some pretty dumb things all the time on the freeway, including not wearing a helmet. I am always shocked by how little they esteem their own life. I got very close to getting a motorcycle when I was younger and even signed up for classes/training, but then I got a really bad feeling about it and decided against it. I have a family to provide for, and I determined it was too risky.
  12. A lot of this info, or info like it, came out years ago when Oher originally made his discontentment with the movie known. That's why I said this case is bologna. Oher is getting used by sketchy lawyers. This all stems from him thinking he should have gotten more money from the movie than he did, and thinking, wrongly, that the family got a huge payout from the movie and kept it from him. He is just wrong and lawyers are happy to profit off of it. I'm sure it was all explained to him at the time he signed it, but he likely did not fully understand, because it was all over his head and he is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  13. There's no way his story is completely true. The facts will come out and they will not help him. Honestly, the lawyers are probably the scum bags in all this, driving a wedge between them to get a cut of the money when all the dust settles. BTW, I haven't even seen the movie, but I read up on all of this years ago when I heard he wasn't happy with the movie and claimed it ruined his life or something like that. My opinion back then is that he just wants money for nothing.
  14. And he just scrambled and took a shot. Fans need to stop being such babies and let these players play football.
  15. Kyle Allen seems worse than he did before he came to the Bills. Maybe he just isn't picking up the offense?
  16. Kenyon Drake is so far down the depth chart for the Colts. Crazy.
  17. And I'm sure Josh Allen lobbied for him.
  18. Barkley looks so much more comfortable than Kyle Allen.
  19. Hamlin came up and made some nice tackles.
