The Patriots are pretty bad.

Worst (regular season) coached game in the entire McD era
MJS replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not the worst anything. Not even close. It was a normal loss. It sucks. They fought back and got in it and then lost with a last second field goal. When you lose, it is because things go wrong, obviously. There's always something to point to. On to next week. -
Attended the block party in downtown Houston with my son. It was a blast! It's always heartwarming seeing a huge group if Bills fans in away territory. Let's seal the weekend with a victory tomorrow!

The washed up Dolphins activate a washed up player. Fitting.

Concerned that Joe Brady may have crashed back to reality.

And the fan pendulum of doom vs euphoria continues to swing ever onward... -
Or coaches from the Belichick coaching tree 🌳

I am not interested in bringing in a malcontent. If he is skipping practices because he is frustrated with the team, he'll continue to have attitude issues here as well.
-
That wasn't an elimination game. But I was talking about his time with the Bills. Great play, though.
-
He deserves it and I think he'll get in one day. I know there are some posters here who say he doesn't. Well, I think they are dead wrong. Tasker was an inspiration for multiple generations of special teams players. He changed the game. He paved a path for others. He went to many pro bowls (they created a pro bowl spot for him because of how impactful he was). He was an elite, generational talent for his specific role. Watching his highlights is a real treat.

Excluding JA, predict your impact player - Bills at Texans

Offense: It has to be Cook Defense: Bernard (assuming he plays. Douglas if he doesn't) -
Mayo seems like an uninspiring coach to me.
-
And he has done next to nothing in every playoff elimination game he has been a part of. Your #1 receiver is supposed to step it up in the playoffs, not disappear.

Brandon McManus reinstated - Bass replacement?
MJS replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
He also had a season at 88% for extra points! That's really bad. -
Brandon McManus reinstated - Bass replacement?
MJS replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would you feel better with him? He isn't very consistent. Letting a crappy kicker go to sign another crappy kicker (while taking on a lot of dead cap) doesn't seem like a smart decision. -
O'Cyrus Torrence.....He just hasn't taken that next step...
MJS replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sophomore slump. Hopefully, he takes that next step in year 3. I'm hopeful he can put things together for the rest of the season, though. -
I'll be driving in with my son and staying through the weekend. It's his first NFL game (he is 8 years old). He caught the football bug this year, so he is super excited.
-
Yeah, I've always liked his moxie. It's nice to see Darnold doing well, too. I like to see the 2018 QB's doing well.
-
That was a fumble. They should have challenged.
-
They could have restructured him more, but wanted to keep a significant portion of his cap hit for this year. Allen is getting a bunch of money every year. They've been restructuring him and giving him a big bucket of cash each year they do so. He is not underpaid. Him and Mahomes have both been highly paid even though their APYs are technically lower. But Allen will get a reworked deal soon, just like Mahomes did.
-
He was on the practice squad a couple weeks ago.
-
Really nice throw there by Mayfield.

Allen named AFC offensive player of the month!
MJS replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should list Lamar Jackson but show a picture of Josh Allen. -
I think Hamlin has filled in admirably. But he isn't an impact starter. We are used to having impact starters at safety. Rapp is kind of the same way. He does well, but doesn't make a big impact positively or negatively. Cam Lewis is a backup, and he has done as well as you can hope for a backup. He makes some plays and he misses some plays. I think he is quality depth, but it sure would be better to have Taron Johnson in there. At linebacker, Dorian Williams is actually making impact plays. I'm excited for the future with him. Spector is another guy filling in who just isn't an impact starter. He makes some plays but isn't dynamic like Bernard or Milano. And that's really the issue. Replacing all of our impact starters with guys who are fine, but don't make the impact plays, takes all the upside out of the defense.
