Well, you are making a lot of assumptions about the situation. And even if it is Rodgers forcing him out, a lot of players could be on his side and convinced that he is correct, so they would play harder to support their QB and prove that Saleh was the issue.
-
I'm not sure what you mean with his contract. There is a potential out in 2025, but you take on $15.7 million in dead cap or $7.85 million in 2026. But his cap hit is over $44 million in 2025 and 2026. You'd have to extend him and majorly restructure everything, and he is already 31 years old. Seems like a bad contract situation to me. I disagree. But whatever. We'll see how it goes.

It might not seem like a lot, but a 43% win rate is much higher than most of those teams had leading up to those games, so it is a measurable boost. And even when they lose, they come out swinging.
-
No, but they win the first game after a coach firing at a pretty good clip. That's the issue. But the Jets still have a lot of talent. They might be able to pull things together and win some games. I don't see them making the playoffs, though. The Rodgers signing is looking like a huge bust. Injured four plays into the first year and looking pretty pedestrian in the 2nd year. Yeah, he still has some of his wow throws, but he is nothing compared to what he was.

He isn't going anywhere, regardless. Nobody wants that contract if they have to also give up high draft picks.

I used to not like Buck and Aikman, but with so many crappy announcers, I kind of like them now. Not because they are great, but because they aren't terrible. They are average. They don't distract from the game much. They do an average job, and that makes them pretty decent.

The Bills lost. I lost both of my fantasy football matchups, and the Chiefs win and stay undefeated. What a fantastic week of football 😐

There is no such thing as "too extreme" around these parts!

How was Josh able to finish the game with a concussion?
MJS replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because he didn't have a concussion. Simple. Players hit their head like that all the time. Sometimes they result in concussions and sometimes they are nothing. It just depends on how you hit. Sometimes smaller hits result in concussions. Sometimes bigger hits don't. It's not just about the initial force. There are tons of other things that come into play. Josh stayed down because he was hurt in other areas. I thought it was a shoulder at first because he landed so hard on it. But he said it was his ankle and chest. His ankle rolled for sure, and I'm not surprised about his chest because his torso landed so hard. Super glad he didn't break a collarbone or something. He wasn't knocked out. That is a load of crap. -
He seems to trust his coordinators in those situations for sure, especially offensively. Maybe he should take the reins more. I'm not sure. But I'm sure he has told them that he trusts them and wants to empower them. I think that is the right approach most of the time, but you also want to trust, but verify. He needs to make sure that critical moments are correctly called.

You have to put this one on Brady. With Shakir out, he should have been the one to be able to step up and get targets. But they seem to only want to use him as a gadget guy occasionally. Plus, he is supposed to be getting rushing touches. But they haven't been doing that with him either.

I'm not so sure. They showed a replay from the end zone vantage and Hollins had to really adjust and turn toward the sideline. I'm sure some of the blame is with Hollins and his poor tracking, but Allen is more to blame, in my opinion.
-
Allen has to hit him in stride there. You see other QBs make that throw without forcing their receiver to make a huge adjustment. This is something that Allen needs to improve on. I can't really remember the last time Allen has actually completed a throw like that.

How did you feel when Josh set up in the shotgun?
MJS replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fans would be melting down about how conservative and predictable McDermott is. Literally any loss in any fashion is going to get the "fire McDermott" crowd going with their torches and pitchforks. -
I'm enjoying this SNF game. A few big plays on offense. Defensive splash plays. It's fun. I enjoy defensive battles more than most, though.
-
Can we change the title? It's not true. The Bills were not missing a man on that play.
-
I think people saw a different game than I did. I think everyone is determined to freak out about any loss, no matter how it happens, and demand to fire the coach and coordinators. So, have at it, I guess...

Looks like 11 to me, unless I'm looking at the wrong play.

Of all the kinds of losses to lose perspective from, this shouldn't be one of them. The Texans are a good team with a great QB. We were on the road at their place. The team fought back and tied it up and we lost by a field goal as time expired. It wasn't like we got the doors blown off by a bad team. Fans need to relax and be a little more resilient. The team needs to figure it out and play better, for sure. Let's see if they can do it.
