  1. Ankou plays well. I think he should be the primary 1T backup, personally.
  2. None of the other teams have good leadership in place. So, they will always be teams that fall apart. People bash McDermott, but he provides steady leadership and direction, consistently motivates the team to get out of slumps, and establishes a culture of winning, growth, and player development.
  3. Ironically, it is 1T that we still need. So, I wonder if he will be played out of position again. But I am glad we signed him instead of Phillips.
  4. Because that is what he is officially listed as. But he is unofficially a defensive end.
  5. He has played in all 8 games. He isn't getting targeted much. He has 26 targets all year.
  6. Man, it would suck to lose the superbowl that way on a successful 2-point play to end the game... That is "Wide Right" territory.
  7. Promising coordinators who get head coaching jobs fail all the time. It is a huge risk.
  8. They suck even when they have him. They need to blow that team up and rebuild.
  9. Yeah, he needs to be gone after this year. He is washed.
  10. What has LaPorta been doing this year? He has 300 yards and 2 TD's this year. Kincaid has more catches, yards, and the same amount of TDs. TE production is down all around the NFL this year. Travis Kelce hadn't done a lot until the past two weeks. When has he said that the key to offense is running the football? That doesn't sound like McDermott. He has said at times that we need to run the football better and that we need to play complimentary football. Do you have a quote?
  11. Daquon Jones should have been better as well. He wasn't getting off blocks. Eli Ankou is the best run defending defensive tackle we have. He has one more practice squad call up, then I hope they keep him on the active roster and keep getting him playing time.
  12. Why? He has been a backup everywhere. He has played because of injury. It was an open competition in camp and preseason and he was unavailable for good portions of that, and didn't impress when he was available. He lost the competition. There is zero evidence that he would be better than Hamlin or anyone else who has been playing.
  13. Bernard and Williams were the weak links this game. They usually play better. And the Dolphins have a very sophisticated run game, and they actually stuck with it for once.
  14. He is a malcontent depth player. Move on. There are a hundred guys who can fill that role.
  15. And the others were blowouts, haha.
  16. How is that not intentional grounding?
  17. He certainly does not look fast. He has never been fast. That's not his game.
  18. I watched them a little and it seemed like they had some good interior defensive line play.
  19. That was the same drive with the two phantom holding penalties and the called back Josh Allen TD scramble. I think they ended up kicking a field goal.
  20. I think getting the tie and hoping for overtime was the right call. And it would have worked if Poyer didn't have that blatant helmet hit. And they forced Bass to make a franchise record distance kick.
  21. With only 5 seconds left. They would have only had a Hail Mary to try. It was the correct decision.
