I do like him. I don't really know outside of him who I would like. I also wouldn't mind looking for an upgrade at nickel corner, so maybe a guy like Elijah Molden. I don't really care who we take, but I see CB as one of our biggest remaining needs. Heck, I wouldn't mind if we signed Richard Sherman after the draft.

I was kind of hoping for Oweh after the good corners were all gone. I figured, heck, why not go for the generational size / speed combo? I'm good with this pick, though. Edge is a need and this guy is a finisher. Excited to see him play. REALLY glad we didn't trade up for a freaking running back.

He was a great college QB and won playoff games in the NFL. I mean, he wasn't good enough in the NFL, but he certainly has accomplished stuff in football.

Fans seem to be really down on Edmunds. I get it. He had an injury riddled year with a few bad games, but as he got healthier he played a lot better. He went to the pro bowl in 2019 for a reason. His 2020 pro bowl was likely name recognition, but still, he is a good player who has gone to at least one legit pro bowl. He's young. He is a freakish athlete. He is smart. He is only going to get better. I don't think Beane and McDermott have considered moving on from Edmunds for even a second (or considered moving him to OLB, for that matter).

Can we really say they have misses when the draft hasn't even happened yet?

I agree with you completely on basically all your points. Nice job! I guess I think the Trevor Lawrence hype is a little high. I don't think he is going to be as good as everyone thinks he will, but certainly he is a great prospect. We'll see if these guys can overcome getting drafted by crappy organizations (aside from whoever lucks out and goes to San Fran).

Our line really struggles with interior pressure. Jones was a wrecking ball in that game. That was the worst oline performance of the year, in my opinion (pass blocking included). So yeah, I do put most of that on the oline, not on the backs.
