  1. Yes, but if we are talking about Josh in the MVP conversation, two turnovers hurt his chances a lot. Not that I think he has much of a chance anymore this year. He would have to really ball out. The MVP usually comes from the top one or two teams in the NFL, plus takes great stats.
  2. That first INT was probably the worst INT I've ever seen him throw. But he played well after that. The second INT just happens sometimes. He got hit and the ball fluttered to the defender.
  3. I don't think they need to alter rules to make things easier on the offense.
  4. Out for the season? Why would he say that?
  5. Good. Singletary and Breida produce.
  6. Atwater absolutely deserved it.
  7. I can count the number of times on one hand that I've puked, in my entire life. It's basically my least favorite thing in the world. I hate it. I can't imagine doing it on a weekly basis.
  8. He really just doesn't care anymore, does he?
  9. What's the record for most times making the semi-finals for the HOF?
  10. My wife is having fun yelling "Go Bills!" to people on the street. She isn't much of a football fan but is having fun with the fan take over regardless.
  11. But how do you know that? Did you read something somewhere?
  12. How do you know what the team nutritionist is doing?
  13. Why? Can't it be any of the other 52 on the roster?
  14. That's the thing. Singletary IS productive even with our crappy oline. He needs more touches, though. Get him up to 15-20 a game and he is easily a 1,000 yard back. And I think he would fumble less too. I think they fumble sometimes because they know they only have a few carries a game and they try to absolutely maximize every single one, which leads to errors.
  15. Probably after a couple of years of not making the playoffs.
  16. The offensive coaches are not preparing the offense well enough. Some of the injuries have had domino effects across the whole team. The players compound their issues by trying to do too much and making mistakes (especially Allen). It is particularly hard to come from behind in bad weather games because it affects the passing game more. I also think the Bills have some good individual talents that do not operate as units. This is most evident on the defensive line. Good individual players the each do their own thing without really operating as a unit. The offensive line has the same problem except they don't have many good players, which makes it even worse. I think another issue is teams come in as "underdogs" and give the Bills their best shot. It is an easy rallying point for players and coaches and adds more motivation for them. The Bills are a finesse team and lack mental and physical toughness. Ultimately, I think a lot of these issues come down to coaching, especially offensive coaching. McDermott needs to whip his offensive coaches into shape or start looking for replacements.
  17. I'll be at this game. Hope it isn't a miserable experience. I'll be doing enough fun things in the days leading up and days after to make the trip worth it regardless, though.
  18. That's what I saw too.
  19. Bills - 31 Colts - 19
  20. To each his own. White had 2 less sacks than Smith but played in 47 fewer games. So he was more productive in the games he played as far as sacks. Smith had a lot more tackles for loss, though, so maybe that means that Smith was better at playing the run and was a more well rounded defender? Both players are before my time, really, so I only have highlights and old games to go off of.
  21. Offenses mitigate pass rushers better these days too. QB's get the ball out quicker and don't drop back so deep. Plus, things that used to be sacks are now penalties, so getting a clean sack is much more difficult. Maybe one day, but that record is going to be there for a long, long time.
  22. Right now Diggs is 10th in receptions and 7th in receiving yards. Not too shabby.
