  1. Hyde has no trade value. Epenesa has no trade value. Morse has no trade value. All of them are more valuable on the team than what you would get in a trade. Ed Oliver can maybe get you a 3rd. Maybe a 2nd if there is a team who was really high on him out of the draft.
  2. Almost everyone has drag raced down a busy street, swerving between lanes of traffic and even oncoming traffic? You really think that?
  3. Sounds like they should have listened to him.
  4. You've had a vendetta against McDermott for years now. I can't take anything you say seriously.
  5. Well, if he was planning on coming back, all these weird threads about him have probably changed his mind.
  6. Yeah, did anyone read between the lines that they would be signing Von Miller last year? Fans just need to wait and see what happens. There's no use in guessing. Besides, everything changes constantly, so any targets they have right now will change as the off-season progresses.
  7. Leslie is not under contract.
  8. His contract ended. He had nothing to be fired from.
  9. I would like to see more stunts and more manufactured pressure, personally. I have no issue with a rotation. They just need to be more effective, especially in the big games against big opponents.
  10. This is one of the earliest plays I remember as a kid. This was probably the first season of football that I can really remember being old enough to get interested in the Bills and football: Flutie mania was a lot of fun. And Eric Moulds was my first favorite player. Loved seeing him play.
  11. Each year is a new year. We'll see how the division actually performs.
  12. "Random" is actually the hard part. It's very difficult to get a truly random, representative sample. You overcome that somewhat by getting a larger sample size. It's not random because you are only getting those who are willing to participate. Also, the location you take the tests introduces bias. The gender of the person administering the test, etc., etc. It can only truly be random if you choose a random selection of seats all around the stadium and require the people in those seats to test. So, researchers do the best they can and just try to get as large of a sample as they can, hoping it is somewhat representative. This study? It probably just took a few samples and called it good. There's no way they actually did an adequately statistically significant job on this.
  13. That has been the theory. I'd still bring in a vet to compete with him.
  14. I don't even think it needs to be a big influx. Get a good #2 receiver. Move Bates back to LG. Bring in a good RG. Draft a tackle or sign a tackle to compete with Spencer Brown. Davis goes back to being the 3rd/4th WR and flourishes with less attention from the defense. That's all you really need. You can do more, of course. But the offense doesn't need an overhaul. It needs some key pieces.
  15. When you have players who can't execute the offense, things look disjointed. When you call a play and Allen takes the deep bomb over and over despite underneath routes being there for the taking, things look disjointed. I'm sure Dorsey can improve. It was his first year. But the offense needs more talent, especially a better oline. Once you have good players who play well together, it's amazing how your offense can just click and get into a good rhythm.
  16. They are the exceptions, not the rule. Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round. Does that mean we should bank on a 6th round QB? Go bring in some talent. If Shakir is good, he will be the cream that rises to the top. If not, oh well. He was a 5th round pick.
  17. Aren't you guys sick of projecting superstars out of 5th rounders? Maybe Shakir will be more, maybe he won't. Chances are he won't. Go make a real investment in the WR room with a high draft pick or a trade.
  18. So, why are we blaming Dorsey? If the receivers dropped so many balls, how is that Dorsey's fault? Seems like Dorsey did his job. He produced the 2nd best offense in the league with receivers dropping passes and an oline that lacks talent.
  19. I'd like to see that methodology.
  20. Shakir is not a speedster. He is a 5th round draft pick. Maybe he develops, maybe not. We need proven players or high draft picks.
  21. It's obvious. The Bills have put a TON of money into bringing state-of-the-art equipment, techniques, and training to help their players. Players do nothing but rave about everything the Bills have done to help players recover from injuries and get back to 100%. The Bills seem to be very cautious about bringing players back too soon. Then there's the Dolphins...
  22. Injuries piled up. Injuries send ripple effects throughout the entire team. A team can handle having one or two starters injured, but once you have 3, 4, 5, 6 etc, it gets less and less manageable. The Bills had a ton of starters out on defense. Everyone looks worse when that happens.
  23. I like the look of the traditional positional numbering, personally. But I really don't care that much.
  24. The Chiefs moving up doesn't mean the Bills wanted McDuffie over Elam. The Chiefs can do whatever they want. It doesn't change what the Bills are targeting. More likely, the first round corners were getting slim, so both teams moved up to get them them before someone else did. Elam is awesome. The Bills should be happy with him.
  25. Aren't Poyer and his wife both from Florida?
