  1. Hey, I'd take more comfy seats. That would nice. To me, a stadium is good when it has good food options, decently comfortable seats, and a great view of the field.
  2. They won 9 games last year. They haven't had a double digit season since 2017. Before that? 2007. You don't get to add playoff games to your regular season record. They were 1 game over .500. Good thing they had an extra game with the new 17 game schedule or they would have been 8-8 and missed the playoffs. With a pitifully easy schedule, no less.
  3. How about double digit wins? How about playoff wins? How about getting to the conference championship? How about having success for more than one season (and the Jags's "breakout" season was barely better than average.) Just a laughable take.
  4. Hilarious. You are actually serious with this crap?
  5. That is not proving anything. Getting to 9-8 and losing a game in the playoffs does not vault you to the #1 seed.
  6. I am not going to project the Jags, of all teams, to become a great team. They have to prove it to me, just like the Bills had to prove it when they were a laughing stock organization coming out of the drought. Like I said, I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not saying they will fail, but I just need to see it from them. Last year could have easily been a fluke. Teams go on good runs and then regress to the mean all the time.
  7. I'll believe it when I see it. The Jags are an average team until proven otherwise. They went 9-8 last year and that's great for them, but it is a huge leap to get to 13+ wins and get the 1 seed.
  8. This helmet concept has been floating around for a long time, similar to yours: https://images.app.goo.gl/c1DSZ2Vu1dHkWGNE9 Not a big fan, personally. I think the white helmets look better. I would not mind a 90's throwback of the red helmet, though.
  9. Well, the Bills HAVE beaten the Chiefs multiple times in the regular season. And they've won plenty of playoff games. It is so plain that the Chargers are a huge step below the Bills. Anyone should be able to admit that. The Bills have had far more success. They are not similar.
  10. On one hand the McDermott critics claim that the success of the team is all on Allen's shoulders, that coaching isn't why the team has been so successful, and then on the other hand they claim that coaching is THE reason why we can't win in the playoffs. I don't think they can have it both ways. Either coaching is a big part of the game and and it isn't just about the QB, or it is on the players for why we can't get over the hump in the playoffs. Coaching is only important to them when they want to blame someone, but meaningless when they want to recognize success.
  11. That isn't true. There are 23 head coaches who have been in the playoffs as head coaches. Sean McDermott is 15th in win percentage among them at 0.444. If you want to just look at their current teams, there are 21 head coaches who have made the playoffs with their current teams. Sean McDermott is ranked 13th in playoff win percentage out of those 21. You omitted the 5 head coaches who have appeared in the playoffs but not won a playoff game, either on purpose to try to make McDermott look worse, or by accident.
  12. No, he could not win in the playoffs. McDermott can. It is completely different.
  13. McDermott hasn't had even one down year unless you want to count Allen's rookie season.
  14. You should do an analysis of coaches who are fired after consecutive 10+ win seasons, winning the division, winning playoff games, and having top 10 ranked offenses and defenses. I bet the list is pretty small. Not making a superbowl is not what will get a coach fired. Having subpar seasons will get you fired, such as missing the playoffs multiple times, or not being able to win a playoff game after a bunch of tries, or having losing seasons. Getting to the playoffs and winning playoff games after winning the division and having excellent regular season records is just not going to get you fired, usually.
  15. Great. I hope they stay for a lot longer. I like both of them.
  16. That's not the conclusion.
  17. Actually, he said that you have games where the offense has to overcome bad defense, and where defense has to overcome bad offense. You need to have both, according to the OP.
  18. I mean, they would be open to trading any player "under the right circumstances". If KC wanted to trade us Pat Mahomes and 10 first round picks for Josh Allen, I'm sure we'd do it.
  19. People are getting bent out if shape about this? Man, these fans... McDermott can't buy a new coffee machine without getting criticism.
  20. Ok. That's what I was wondering. It's not the best, but at least it has history.
  21. Agreed. That was my criticism as well. Does that version of the lion have some type of history with the team, perhaps? That combo looks bad to me. I do not like the gray uniforms with that helmet.
  22. Ok. You are just making it clear you don't know how it works.
  23. They already have a good running back. I don't know why they would do this.
  24. The language is in the original contract.
