Well what if the foot is normal size but the toes are small? Would this mess with balance? I thing proportional feet are more important than size. Also foot strength. Can't stress that enough. It could happen. Talent wise RIGHT NOW I'd say our roster is severely lacking. I also saw last year our coaching staff get that roster to play as a team. There will be improvements to the roster. But it could still a rough season. Could also go 11-5 and win the division. It's a quirky little league like that.

No my opinion is he is below average as a starter. Average being somewhere around 16th best starter in the NFL. That's what's different. Yours is he wasn't. You're entitled to think whatever you want about him. Doesn't make it a fact. Likely just means we view different traits valuable in a starting QB.

Here's where I'm at right now. 1. Cle: Darnold- There are way too many good football minds in that room right now to screw this one up 2. Jets: Mayfield- I think the Jets pull a move to make sure they get their guy. Giants like picking up a free pick or 2 and still get Thier guy with zero risk. 3. Giants: Chubb- I think they improve their pass rush and get a value back later on. 4. Cle: James-another Could be Fitzpatrick or Barkley as well 5. BUFFALO: Josh Allen- Just thinking this is who they will take. Also, I always get the Bills pick wrong...so hopefully this means we don't take him. Past that (and assuming we have to give up both 1sts to outbid Arizona) I see us moving around quite a bit in the draft. I'll wager that we take 2 picks where we are currently scheduled and the rest we slide up and down the board. My best guess is Rosen ends up in Arizona.

I doubt the Browns do, but I'm all in on thinking the Jets may move to 2. They're already all in on QB this year and wouldn't cost them much more to make sure someone else doesn't jump them.

No, I get that. But it's a very poor take from fans. We as fans haven't sat in a room and talked to him. Haven't taken the time to interview everyone the kids been in contact with since basically the womb. We know what media wants us to know. It's also a narrative that could be used for a LOT of these kids coming out. Or is Josh Rosen that special that he's the only one with interests and goals outside football?

This is a really nice story. Tons of respect for Locker and his decision. It's a stretch to say imo that it has anything to do with Rosen and where he's drafted. 2 different people with much different outlooks. By that logic Roquan Smith may retire early because Chris Borland retired early. If Rosen slides it's simply because teams view him as a guy that's darn good but may not have a ton of room to get better. Or they like another guy more. Or politics (NYJ especially).

7 wins is fair. All in all though, in this league the biggest thing is not who you play, but when you play them. Can you catch a team that's coming in banged up a steal a win? Can you get a couple of calls to go your way and steal another? Of course, it's also hard to say what's a fair win total before we know who our QB will be. Who grabbed that MLB position? Did we get some WR help?

I didn't talk about throws Taylor MISSED instead was talking about the ones he was too conservative to actually THROW. I know, you miss Taylor. I get it. But as a QB, he was (in his time here) a lower tier starting QB. As a QB he is mediocre. He's a heck of an athlete though.

Absolutely. It's one of the reasons that he has so few 4th quarter comebacks IMO. Oddly one of the games that I though he looked the most comfortable in was the 2nd half of the Charger game. Game was lost so he was just out there. A lot less pressure on him to be careful and he slung it around pretty well. The guy can play...when he plays. The Tennessee game that he basically won by himself...another example of what he could be. Truthfully, some of it I'm certain is on coaches wanting him to play conservative. But you have to be willing to take...as Beane said... calculated risks.
