Miami is willing to give up high draft choices and a guaranteed $35 million dollars next year to a guy that will likely not see the field until his legal issues are over. And if he's found guilty will likely have to serve a long suspension once the legal issues are over. This is how bad teams stay bad. NFL can't see Gruden's career and over things he said in the past (that he was ignorant and wrong to say) and let Watson continue like nothing happened.

Dawkins (and Feliciano) failed miserably to get the push the play called for. Picking that side is not on Allen...it's squarely on Simmons wanted to make the stop more than Dawkins wanted to stop him from doing it.

If Dawkins doesn't let Simmons eat his lunch and dance with his woman on that play Allen makes it even if he slips.

It's also likely that some fans have not idea what is being asked of players in the team. Every player you listed that some fans have issue with (outside of Ford IMO) do an amazing job of playing their 1/11th when called upon. Amazes me that with so many "busts" and "bad players" we aren't the Detroit Lions: AFC Edition.

I feel like he's the type of player that is hurt by being a rotational guy. Ed plays with a ton of emotion. A lot of his splash plays are at the start of a game or start of a half. Rotating through may just be hard for him to keep in the flow of the game and keep his high level intensity rolling.

I'm curious if the QB sneak was the call the whole time or if Daboll called that with a pass plays letting Josh make the call it the line with what he saw the defense show. Titans only had 4 down linemen. That would have been the correct read on Allen's part. My only questions on the run is why you would aim for their best DL player on Simmons who is being blocked by a weak player in Feliciano who dropped 20lbs last offseason.
