  1. I am honestly thinking Beane likes more than 1 guy, but placed a slight difference how far he would move for each. Just a theory, but maybe he thinks Rosen is the best...but he would have to give up more picks to get him at 3, than, say Mayfield at 7. It's going to come down to who falls where and what the value is to move up IMO. For all we know the like Jackson a lot and are content with him at 12 with another pick in the 1st round in their pocket. I trust that whoever we get...there is a plan.
  2. My bold prediction is this thread will be bumped on draft night. And you shall be roasted. You KNOW it's a bad prediction when BBD can roast you.
  3. Ok. Well the Buffalo/Bengal pipeline is still in effect. Good for Brown. Seems like a decent fit for that defense.
  4. This has been my guy since last season. 6'3, ran 4.39 40 coming out, career 16.1ypc He is a playmaker. Creates separation. Has been buried on Dallas's WR depth chat but has come up big when he has been in. He wants a chance to start, which we can clearly offer and it would move Zay to the slot where he can do much better getting off the ball. Brice Butler would be a perfect fit.
  5. Nope. The only reason Pro Days exist are to show NFL teams how QBs look in shorts and sneakers. Forget the game tape. Who cares what they throw like under a pass rush in a game. It's all about the QBs in shorts.
  6. I like EJ as a person. Classy guy. Good guy. As a QB....eh.
  7. Sticker shock is there, but if you look deeper there are a lot of low cost outs for the Bills. If he plays up to the contract he will make some big bucks. If he doesn't he will be gone in 2 seasons with little penalty to the Bills. I like it.
  8. I'm pretty sure that was Baker Mayfield and one of his buddies.
  9. While I do share optimism that we will be ok, I am still a tad bit skeptical. Organizational consistency is a wonderful thing, but eventually it will come down to coaching. Our QB coach happens to be Dave Culley. He is a really good WR coach and I HOPE it translates to his new position. A QB like Allen needs a lot of help and I don't know if Culley is up to that task. At the very least it's a fair concern in my book. Now there are things I don't know about Culley. I don't know how much he actually knows or doesn't know about the QB position. I don't know how well he teaches. I don't know how he is with the guys in the film room or on the practice field. There are 2 things I do know about him. 1. Last year when Peterman was called into action he was extremely unprepared. In my view that falls on the OC however blame must be given to Peterman's limitations as well as the guy that was working with him on a day to day basis, Culley. 2. When he left KC, Andy Reid said that the reason Culley wanted to come here was to build his resume for an eventual HC position. I like that. The man has aspirations. I don't know what kind of coach he is, but if he wants to get noticed...this is his shot. If we get, say Allen. And Allen turns out well it's easy to see both Culley and Daboll (if he's still here) getting a lot of credit. Best case for them it becomes a Reich/Diflippo situation where they can both progress. With his goals in mind, I believe Culley will work his arse off to succeed here.
  10. https://goo.gl/images/wnMchz Yea...took everyone's tips...that's all I get. Bah well..lmao
  11. Hey man, thanks for the step by step. Really appreciate it!
  12. I'll be "that guy". How the heck do ya insert a gif? Best I can do are emojis. ???
  13. Great read. Thank you for posting this. I think AJ is going to do well for himself and the Buffalo Bills. He makes it so a rookie CAN start now...but maybe we don't need him to. Plus it's a short contract, so if he plays well he will hit FA about the time someone like Josh Allen is expected to be viable to start. Win/win. If he's as passionate about football as it seems...he was made for Buffalo and he's going to love it here!
  14. Kind of surprised that Tyler Eifert has seemed to have no action. If he's healthy he is an upgrade on O'Leary. Health is a big question. I still want Brice Butler.
  15. And yesterday at this time people were moaning we had no QB help. I'm betting Beane is just waiting to see what players drop to the second wave of FA (like he waited out the QBs in FA) and will try to match the best fit for the best value. It's smart.
  16. Brandon Beane is basically standing on a mountain screaming "I'M TAKING A QB HIGH IN THE DRAFT" He didn't make all these moves to sit at 12. He didnt make these moves to end up with Mason Rudolph at 22. He will get top the top of the draft even if it takes until draft night to announce.
  17. For eons stories have been told. Prophecies made of the Chosen One. The one to change both the culture and the fortunes of the Buffalo Bills. Generation after generation we have waited. At times hope seemed lost. After decades...the Chosen One has arrived.
  18. Brice Butler. 6'3" ran 4.39 40 coming out of college. Been buried on the Cowboys depth chart but played really well when given an opportunity.
  19. They did. And further iirc the Eagles were being praised for their rotation depth last year. It's a copycat league. I'm thinking we still add/draft 1 more DE as well.
  20. Magic Beane strikes again man. I want this guy to negotiate my next car purchase. She's quite the tight end.
