  1. Funny McKellar comes up here. The experience Allen talks about with a player for the SF Giants letting him down as a kid, is similar to an experience I had with McKellar and J.D. Williams when I was a little kid.
  2. For me the guy is a top 15 QB in the league today. Hoping that continues as we play tougher teams.
  3. I think he ends up signing with the Cards to be their feature back. Fully expect them to try and trade Johnson and his contract for a low round pick.
  4. He still plays not that far from here. He is a Toronto Argo.
  5. If St. Doug gets let go in Jacksonville I could see him there. He has a history with both Caldwell and Coughlin.
  6. We just got one. My wife stays home with the kiddos now, and we share a cell phone. Aside from the calls I get from her, the only time the land line is used is when my mother in law calls. Its kind of an incasestuff phone, but without separate cell phones its helpful.
  7. I watched both of them and agree they arent anywhere near the same guy. J.P. sat back and watched and watched because he could hit one pass, deep and outside the hashes. Allen is a much more nuanced passer who hits players over the middle of the field, but has a much harder time with throws outside the hash like I just said JP did well. Maybe they both take time in the pocket but for different reasons. Like the other poster said, Josh is going through progressions. JP was waiting for someone to break free deep. Essentially J.P. was waiting for someone to break off of the called route and turn it into a 9 route while he scrambled around the field.
  8. The article here says there is no real correlation between scrambling and injuries. The real concern for injury is a takedown during a throw. My thought is just win anyway you can. You drafted Allen because he has exceptional physical traits. Let him use those traits while you build on to them. Taking away the very traits you drafted him for doesnt make any sense.
  9. What I meant is, where is Trump in handcuffs? You expect me to believe one man and his friends beat an entire government and the election and said government, the most powerful in the world couldnt nail him with legit charges? The deep state nonsense belongs to you my friend. The real story here is the life long politicians you support are in the middle of a temper tantrum because the people are sick of them. Trump is delivering what Obama promised, change. People are back to work, making more money and not relying on Uncle Sams teet.
  10. Where is it? Your team has had two major legal productions trying to prove Trump was involved and both times your team has come away looking like fools. I dont choose to ignore it. Id really prefer the government not sped money to show me nothing. If they could conclude he is did something wrong under the letter of the law Id change my mind. Right now it just looks like a bunch of life long politicians who got rich screwing the US out of money and jobs at their own gain pissed they arent getting away with it anymore.
  11. I think the Dems have spent the better part of his term trying to find evidence of the exact thing youre saying and they have shown nothing. Show me the baby.
  12. At what point do the Dems end the interviews and just try to get Trump to agree to tie a stone to his chest to see if he floats?
  13. A criminal enterprise was definitely involved, The Clinton Foundation. My God the read up about them "falling asleep" reads like something straight out of The Godfather or The Departed. How long are these shams going to go on?
  14. I thought the Texans had the easier schedule, it looks like they have the exact same strength of schedule remaining. We spend the remainder of the season rooting against whoever loses this game.
  15. Is he still on FOX? I thought he signed up to be a broadcaster with them, but I havent seen him since the first week he was on.
  16. The only way they dont need that game is if they somehow beat one of the Ravens, Cowboys or Patriots. And then dont lose to either the Steelers or Broncos.
  17. Likely scenario has Week 17 has a win and in game. Really need to have the Steelers, Colts, Raiders, and Texans to lose games down the back stretch here. Dont want to risk the entire season on beating the Jets Week 17. Beat the Broncos, Steelers, and Jets and youre in, plain and simple. Dont lose any of those games.
  18. Yes, 100% they would. They may be salty at first, but there is something about being 1 of the 32 cities lucky enough to have a NFL franchise that helps wounds heal. However, Spanos may have some mea culpas to say.
  19. San Diego would be perfect for them as well.
  20. Rivers should retire and Mahomes should have let his knee heal.
  21. I heard it but thought he said "squeeze out a little Sanchez" not dirty Sanchez. Anyways the back and forth between he and Spero was pretty weird anyways. Just tell me what is going on and dont try to be funny.
  22. Spot on assessment. Perfect player in the 3rd-4th round.
  23. This isnt arguable.
  24. It's top 12 for 4-3 Defensive Tackles. When you get into 3-4 Defensive Tackle you're comparing apples to oranges. And no, I don't think he is better than Star, but I also think they play drastically different roles in this defense. Additionally, the Bills were in a totally different spot in terms of building a team when Star got his contract. And 8 million is exactly 2 million less than what Star makes, its not an astronomical difference or a joke as you call it. What you're doing is trying to say every defense tackle in every defense around the NFL has exactly the same standards to compare contracts with. 8-9 million a year is a good contract for what Jordan Phillips does here. If you think Phillips is getting something in the 12-17 million dollar range, like Atkins and Jarrett I'd say thats a joke. One of us will be correct, one of us wont. Its possible I am wrong, but I think getting your hair on fire for a 10 sack season and paying someone a huge contract isnt good management. Again you have to think in terms of Phillips being a rotational cog in a defense. Not paying top five for his position when he plays less than 50% of the snaps.
