  1. This fumble narrative everyone suddenly loves is just garbage. Again, not a Josh Allen guy but he has around as many fumbles as Daniel Jones, Gardner "Everyone Loves Me" Minshew, Jameis Winston, Joe Flacco and Kirk Cousins. He has lost less, and fumbles lost is the stat that really matters, as Kyle Allen, Gardner Minshew, Daniel Jones and Jared Goff. He has the ball in his hand more than most quarterbacks in the league because Buffalo relies on him for both their run and pass game recently. Daboll is a walking contradiction, he doesnt want Josh to do too much but he wants him to do everything.
  2. I'd be very surprised if the Bills traded for a player on an expiring contract they didnt plan to extend. It doesnt fit with the get better now and tomorrow standard Beane has. If they trade for Green, an extension will be put in place. They wont give up a pick for a player they only intend to keep for 9 games.
  3. He had a good career. You can probably put him in the same category as Boomer Esiason. He put up pretty good numbers, made it to the Super Bowl, started a lot of games and won more games than he lost. Problem is the new way of thinking tends to be if your quarterback isnt elite he sucks, there is no middle ground anymore. Food for thought, if you put Bledsoe on the 90's Bills is there a huge drop off in the eventual outcome of the team?
  4. So the Head Coach fired they guy who presumably was calling the scheme based on the Head Coach's playbook. Yep, shouldnt be too much longer for Lynn.
  5. I dont know how New Orleans pays for A.J. Green with four million in available cap, and I am not sure how many wideouts the Jags need. Otherwise yes, completely logical.
  6. This guy is the worst. Please someone save this Tweet and see if 10% of this comes true. The Saints dont have the cap space for Green, and the Jags dont need another wideout.
  7. A detective on the search for a 300 yard passing game?
  8. The Bills beat the Bengals by 4 points, I think you are grossly overestimating how good the Bills are. Its going to be a game, and its not anywhere close to a gimmie.
  9. I hope this is true. I know the Bills can beat the Steelers, the Browns I am not sure about.
  10. I heard he wears a wedding ring while he plays and went to Harvard.
  11. I look at the Browns schedule and think they could go 8-1 over the back end of the season. The Ravens have games against the Patriots, 49ers, Houston, and the Rams left. I think they both beat the Bills.
  12. I am not 100% sure Cleveland wont win that division.
  13. You've changed my mind. It's only Monday and the Bills havent even traded for Melvin Gordon yet..keep er going!
  14. Can we just merge this thread with the will McDermott last the year thread, lock it out and call it a day?
  15. They are going to have the Jets in the final game of the season to get to 10-6 and they are going to lose. They wont beat the Patriots, Ravens, Cowboys or Browns and they will lose the finale against a Jets team that got hot the last part of the year to go 9-7.
  16. Miami's wideout corp is better than the Bills.
  17. Sometime last week a member of this board said they think Allen is a lot like Fitzpatrick. I'd like to remind everyone...no fine
  18. Jerry Hughes is the same player he has always been. He is a slightly above average number 2 pass rusher who desperately needs to play with a number 1 pass rusher to be productive. He is the only person on the defensive line that offensive coordinators have to worry about. He needs a Mario Williams level talent on the other side of him, not Trent Murphy.
  19. They will lose to the Browns if Kitchens doesnt screw it up. Nick Chubb is exactly what the Bills dont need right now.
  20. Youre exactly right on this. I am not a big Allen fan by any means but the kid was literally carrying them as far as he could yesterday. They need players who defenses have to key on. They need guys who can take a 5 yard pass to the house. Its been an issue for a long time here. Everyone complains about the qb here but when is the last time we had an all pro wideout tight end or runningback?
  21. Singletary played the most snaps of any runningback on the Bills yesterday. Getting back to the ole ground and pound isnt going to solve anything. They need dynamic playmakers who can help with the ball in their hand. Singletary could very well be that, but Gore isnt. Adding extra help in someone like Drake for a late round draft pick would be fine. The Bills need to come out of the dark ages and stop trying to win games with defense. They need to be able to score.
  22. It's also not the solution. You watch someone like Sanders go 65 yards for a quick score and realize we dont have that on our offense. They need help at all the skill positions on offense. Gore is a nice story and probably adds a lot to the locker room but the Bills need guys who can turn a 5 yard play into a homerun and they dont have it right now.
  23. The team got exposed for what they are today. If you didnt see it coming you didnt have your eyes open when they were hardly beating bad teams. They will lose to the cowboys, ravens, patriots, browns and have to try and beat the Jets last week of the season for the 6th seed. And it wasnt on the qb today. They dont get pass rush from the dline and if their secondary doesnt play lights out they wont be in games.
  24. Yes and being ragdolled just like Edmunds.
  25. We get completely ignored because for the better part of 20 years theyve been easy to ignore. This narrative about being ignored because Buffalo is a small market is flat out wrong. If the Bills keep it up and win games their game against the Patriots will be flexed to Saturday. If they vomit all over themselves like everyone expects, because thats what recent history suggests, it wont. Media doesnt hate small markets, they hate spending money and losing it. Like spending tons of time and money interviewing guys like Trent Edwards after a hot start only for the Bills to fail miserably. Like McDermott said, build it and they will come.
