  1. It's almost like they assume penalties instead of watching with their eyes. No fun for sure.
  2. Mason Rudolph gets his head caved in, no foul. Lamar Jackson gets tackled personal foul. Its gotten really bad and hard to watch.
  3. But would you take him over Dawkins?
  4. Watched him very closely that year. He seemed like a system air raid quarterback. His footwork was God awful and he didnt seem like the type of player who would translate to the NFL. I loved Watson coming out, and hated Mahomes. I was, way way off.
  5. My point wasnt that ps had nothing to offer or that they werent better if given the chance. My point was that in reality, not hypthetically, they are currently not better given the opinion of the gm and coach who employ them. The people who see them everyday, the only people with an opinion that counts about them are keeping them on the bench. Therefore given their current status they are not better than the players om the 53. They are potentially better. I also said id love for them to bring Duke up. But they havent to date so he as of today is not more rosterable than Zay Jones
  6. A. Your article is from 2016. There are close to 1700 players in the NFL the subset they showed wasnt close to 50% so again its your opinion you dont have actual statistics. B. If a player is on the PS because they still need coaching they are not as good as or as ready to play as a player on the 53. Agree to disagree.
  7. I understand the practice squad. Whether in reality they are better than the guys on the 53 or not, in the coaches opinion, they arent. Thats why they were subject to waivers for any team in the entire NFL to pick up before they were moved to the practice squad. Duke may very well be better than Zay Jones, but at this point in time he has shorts and a hoodie on during games, and not a helmet and jersey. Also that bs stat about half of the NFL being made up of late round draft picks and UDFA is something you literally made up off the top of your head, its an opinion not a fact. The fact is, 32 teams, including the Bills dont think Duke Williams is good enough to play on Sundays. I would love for them to call him up, but they havent.
  8. Until they move Duke up from the PS I will be very sure about that. Cant be better when you are in shorts on the sidelines.
  9. If everybody already knows what Zay is, why would they be auditioning him? The Bills arent using the regular season to showcase a wideout they would be lucky to get a 7th round draft pick for. There isnt any ploy or 3D Chess going on. They think Zay is better than Duke right now, and thats the bottom line.
  10. First reported last night. Pretty sure its somewhere in the pages of speculation here.
  11. I dont think they plan on paying Dawkins. I have a feeling you'll see them go LT early in the draft. Have Dawkins and the rookie compete. If Dawkins wins they move the rookie to RT for a year, move Ford inside to RG, and Felciano over to LG. I still contest Ford doesnt have what it takes to play tackle in the NFL. He lunges too much because his body type is much better suited for guard.
  12. Definitely been thinking the same thing. It seemed like he was stepping into the long throws better last year. I've noticed, especially against the Patriots he was drifting or running backwards while throwing the more low pct throws.
  13. Yep very easy. I went online and did it. Done two weddings and a funeral since then.
  14. Poyer and Milano will need to be resigned.
  15. I hear you on those. The sports podcasts I listen to always seem to have them. Makes it kind of discouraging to try and listen while I do work around the house.
  16. Jay Gruden, should and will be the first. O'brien really should be out in Houston.
  17. I cant take the ZipRecruiter one. The way they say NEEDLE makes my skin crawl.
  18. This. Allen has started 15 games. 9 or those 15 games he had more than 1 turnover. 7 of those 15 games were multi interception games. 2 of those games are multi touchdown games. He is a bigger liability than he is a help. Nothing about the kid makes me think he is going to be a long term answer at QB. He is very lucky to be on a good team. People want to believe there is this light that goes on for quarterbacks. I've never seen it. Good quarterbacks usually come into the league good. Josh is the same player he was in college. Extremely physically gifted, but incredibly prone to huge mistakes. The biggest question for me is if McBeane are willing to let their careers be ruined by the kid, or if they will be smart enough to move on after next year.
  19. If he doesnt finish the year strong, I would suggest you see them take a quarterback somewhere in the 4th or 5th round of the draft.
  20. I think he is the quarterback of an exceptionally good football team, but I wouldnt say I ever went over to the side of having faith in him. Running aside, he is putting up numbers very close to guys like Blake Bortles, Deshone Kizer, and Geno Smith- sense a trend here. I am not sure Josh is ever going to be a good starter in the NFL. I think the Bills spent a first round pick on a more athletic Derek Anderson. Everytime he rolls to his right everyone knows whats coming. I hope I am wrong, but he may be the worst starting quarterback in the league right now.
  21. I am getting mighty sick of his "dumpoffs" into the dirt with no wideout near the ball.
  22. They arent everything but they are something. If you want to say QBR which is a statistical mix mash is similar to YPC and touchdowns per game be my guest. I think youre going a long ways to defend a comment you made that isnt true. Die on that hill because it really doesnt matter. Edleman isnt a burner neither is Beasley.
  23. Again Edleman has almost the exact same yards per reception as Beasley and less tds per year. As such your assessment that one can take it to the house on you and the other falls down isnt correct.
  24. I think playing with Brady has blinded people to ehat Edleman is. He may be a better athlete than Beasley but for God's sake he doesnt burn you. His yards per reception is exactly .6 of a yard better than Beasley over their career. When you talk about touchdowns per season Beasley has Edleman. The difference is really targets. Edleman is targeted a ton and Beasley spent most of his early career as a 4th wideout. Not saying Beasley is better at all. But lets live in reality a bit when it comes to what Edleman is.
