Jim Rome: The New Kings of New York
thenorthremembers replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never got or liked the Jim Rome schtik. His audience seems to be made up of former frat boys who think people care how much they make a year. Incredibly annoying. -
New Antonio Brown Article
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love how they end the article with how hard he had it. Plenty of people come from a hard situation and dont turn into racist, misogynistic, jerks. I have no pity for guys like this, none -
Dawkins was bad again today. I highly doubt they give him a long term extension, just not sure Williams is the way to go.

Hard to tell. Statistically, from a passing stand point he has always been average. He played out of his mind in 2015. If he had a more vanilla personality he may have never been looked at as elite. Outside of 2015, he has basically had a little better career than someone like Joe Flacco. Is it over, or did it really ever really start outside of one great season and a lot of commercialism?

Random Jets Fan Experiences Bills Comeback Win
thenorthremembers replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. The Philly fans I know are quite annoying as well. But, the Jets take the cake for me. Probably the culmination of the annoying fans and having to play them twice a year. I can ignore the Eagles for three out of every four years. Havent heard many good things about the Browns either, but can ignore them for the most part as well. -
Random Jets Fan Experiences Bills Comeback Win
thenorthremembers replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This pretty much sums up my experience with Jets fans over the last 25 years. There isnt a franchise I like less because of their fans. It seems like there is a subset of Long Island born UB kids that find their way to Bills home games every year and act like total jerks. Not surprising the best player in their franchise history is a fur coat wearing, panty hose endorsing, drunk. -
Feliciano is a beast! Watch
thenorthremembers replied to MtlBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks a lot like Incognito on those plays. Love it. -
He may be healthy but he has only had about 5 games in his entire career better than Sweeney had yesterday. He is a veteran but he was signed for potential as well. Hopefully he lives up to it.

OBJ Wears $250K Watch During Game
thenorthremembers replied to JP's Voice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think he put that much thought into it. I say that because he comes across as having the mindset of an angst ridden 15 year old. I dont think he wants to offend people. I think he cares a whole lot about people thinking he is a cool trend setter. He likes being a celebrity. -
PFF really hates Josh Allen
thenorthremembers replied to PirateHookerMD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem with the write-up is it's making sweeping generalizations based on less than a season worth of work. Quoting the turnovers without context is foolish. Saying "he is just not very good" is also a little bit of a stretch at this point. But level headed doesnt really get the reaction they are looking for does it. Much rather have a QB with nerves of steel go win us a game, than try and play it safe to appease PFF. Its all a wait and see. -
Mutiny in Miami after Blow out Loss
thenorthremembers replied to Golden Goat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wrong, Stills is partly to blame. He called the owner out for supporting Trump, not racism. Fake news. On the other hand Ross is a dipstick for not knowing who to trust with his franchise. -
Are we concerned about Beasley’s hands ?
thenorthremembers replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is a more than serviceable #3, but I think he has shown he is good at getting open with suspect hands. The problem is they dont have a real #2. Zay is still Zay, and somehow Foster was behind Dimarco on the WR depth chart. I fully expect to see Foster at the #2 spot consistently next week. -
Taron Johnson hamstring injury

I thought both Johnson and Neal were bad today. Missed tackles galore, and the 2 point conversion on Neal was crap. -
Does AB set a dangerous precedent?
thenorthremembers replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it wasnt the worst franchise in football handling the situation it would have been different. The Raiders came out of this looking like complete idiots. They lost a 3rd and a 5th for a player that never played a down for them and somehow found a way to strengthen a team in their own conference in doing so. They were my Dads team when I was growing up so I have always had a soft spot for them. But I cannot stand how stupid they are. -
First thing I'd do is try to find any team with an overpaid wideout and try to trade AB straight up for the player. The Chiefs, Bengals, Redskins, 49ers, and Bills are the only teams who could legitimately afford AB at his current price. See if KC or Cinci will take him on for Watkins or A.J. Green straight up. If that doesnt work, I'd be making sure to see if I could find a way to void the contract given his bs. The only other option they have is to keep him. They cant eat the dead cap.

The team went 9-6-1 and missed the playoffs. Juju had 111 receptions 1426 yards and 7 touchdowns. The mistake Brown is making is in thinking his talent eclipses the team. He didnt score 15 touchdowns he caught them. Someone will step in and take his place. Its what happens when you play with great quarterbacks. See Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes, and Mike Wallace. Wideouts were catching 10 plus touchdowns before AB in that offense, and they will do it after. Meanwhile the end for AB is getting closer and closer.

He was managing him as an individual until he made it clear he felt he was bigger than the organization. As a CEO would you let an employee of yours remain employed if he/she posted an internal document with your signature on it to social media? AB has proven that he cant be managed, it wasnt just Mayock that failed. The Steelers did as well. OBJ is a massive personality. AB has mental issues detrimental to a teams bottom line. If the Raiders win more than 3 to 4 games this year I'd be amazed.
