Easy enough. Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State are the three teams that are consistently on television in the Northeast every weekend. You watch enough of those games and they become the teams you cheer on. There is something very cool about Notre Dame's uniforms, the play like a champion today ritual. I enjoy them and could care less if they win in the College Football playoff. Aside from Alabama and Clemson no one else really does.

Never cared too much about trading Peters. Having him on the team wouldnt have made Losman, Edwards, Fitz, Manuel or Tyrod any better.

I think a few people really need to slow down on how good they think the Bills offense is. They may be 6th is yards per game, but they are 18th in points per game. You can rack up all the yards you want but if you dont score touchdowns it doesnt matter. The quarterback is on pace for 16 tds and 16 ints. That puts him in the same category with names like Bortles, Fitzpatrick, Tannehill, Keenum, Mariota, Osweiler, Flacco and rookie Darnold and Wentz. Maybe he ends up great but I still see a not ready for prime time player. I have no expectations for this game. I am looking ahead to the next one, a lot like a lot of fans were doing last week. Maybe we can break the noise record this week too?

I don't know how anyone can be a fan of this team over the last 20 years and not live week to week with tempered expectations. I dont like Schopp, but I also dont disagree with him here. We havent played anyone, and we havent been able to top 30 points in any of those games. This is a scoring league and the Bills havent shown they can do that in a manner that crushes the other team. I still think the team can go 11-5, but if anyone is walking into this game thinking the Patriots are going to be surprised they really need to get a grip on reality. Our young quarterback has 2 multi touchdown games in 14 tries, and 6 multi interception games. Turning the ball over against the Patriots is a recipe for disaster.

I have to say I wasnt as into it as I usually am. I think part of it felt like a letdown because the Bills seemed like they were getting ready to roll the Bengals and it just kind of never happened. No way should Cinci have been in that game late.

I agree with most of this. Murphy needs to be cut in the offseason, he has provided nothing in pass rush. Lawson however has the second most qb hits on the team so he is generating pass rush. Hughes is Hughes, he may end up with 6 sacks, but the guy has 16 QB Hits already. I wouldnt blitz Brady. You blitz bad qbs and drop players into coverage on good ones.

Its great to be 3-0 but to say his statlines arent concerning long term thats underselling ir a bit. The 300 yard game thing also has to do with our skill players lack of YAC.
