Not sure, but I think I've read that the proposed $175 million dollar cap is actually already based on spreading the loss over a few years. Greg Tompsett from Cover 1 just had a tweet about this a few days ago. Buffalo Rumblings also had something similar below. Buffalo Rumblings Cap Article I don't expect the cap to be any higher than $175 in 2021, as such the Bills will have to do a lot of cap gymnastics on contracts for Jerry Hughes, John Brown, Micah Hyde, Vernon Butler, and Quinton Jefferson to have any hopes of re-signing Milano or Daryl Williams. Best case is they add a second year to those players Hughes, Brown, and Hyde move a lot of the money to roster bonus, and spread the impact of the contracts over two years rather than one. Good news is our GM is cap smart so I know they'll find a way to get under the cap. Just dont expect large roster turnover,

I think the Bills ability to win a second round game depends on who ends up with the #1 seed. If they end up the 4th seed and the first round games end up with favorites as the winners, they almost certainly play KC in the 2nd round. I like our team, but I dont see anyone stopping the Chiefs this year. Mahomes is just too good right now.

Knew it was going to be a tough game going in. The Chargers have some serious players. I honestly wasnt sure the Bills would come out with a win, so regardless of how they played I was glad they came away with the w. Thought Lynn looked lost at times today which made me happy. Also thought the Chargers came across as a cocky chippy team a lot like the Titans so was very happy the Bills sent them away with a loss. On to San Fran.

Stills has all the speed in the world but he has bricks for hands. I suppose if you need a replacment for Brown fine but otherwise lean on Davis for a week or 2 and move forward with what you have.

The league is a sort of Twilight Zone for tight ends right now. The number of productive players at the position has dwindled because teams are running more 4 and 5 wide sets. If your tight end isnt one of you best pass catchers they become a blocker pretty quick. If we win games I could care less who catches the ball.

From the video of practice they were showing on OBL today it appears Morse was the starting center. It went Dawkins/Feliciano/Morse/Ford?/Williams. Probably shouldnt have had the video on the air given the new media rules.

SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, Van Halen as far as pure chops. Also a huge fan of how tasteful Brian May, David Gilmour, and John Frusciante are within the structure of the songs. Just amazingly beautiful guitar solos, not always something you hear and say "wow that guy is incredibly technically talented" but their solos and guitar work kind of take you away. SRV's Lenny does the same thing just very tasteful work.

Id add another year to his contract but rework it to keep him for less.

A huge part of the reason the Bills sign players is position flexibility. They signed these guys to pretty decent sized contracts, so if they signed guys who cant produce because they came up against some adversity, I'd say they still signed the wrong guys. If you are paying two defensive tackles between 8 and 9 million a year, and a practice squad player is outproducing, and outplaying them, there is an issue. And make no mistake Zimmer is playing better than both of them. On Norman, I'd say you would expect a 33 year old player who missed a quarter of last year due to injury to be a bit of an injury risk. I am not going to say they should have signed Lawson and Phillips instead because honestly they havent been much better this year. Long term the signings may be fine, just not paying immediate dividends. For what its worth I think the Addison signing has been ok.

With the amount of good players he has at his disposal I would assume the windows are bigger for him because of separation. Rodgers is another one who doesnt throw INTs. I think in the last three years he is something like 71-6.
