I wouldn't trade Allen for anyone in the league
thenorthremembers replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Youre always first in line to criticize the guy. The contract was a no brainer. Guy doesnt panic because the game is close. He runs for his life half the time and has to make plays out of nothing. At this point he may as well throw hinself the ball. -
The Bills skill position players are overrated. Outside of Diggs they dont have another killer in the Tight End, Running Back or wideout group. Beasley and Sanders are at the end of their careers and Knox is a product of playing in an offense with Josh Allen. They dont have one player outside of Allen who can change a game. Not being able to have a skill player turn a small gain into a long gain with just their ability is a huge issue on this offense and it needs to change or they will literally waste one of the best QB talents in the league.

How many challenges has McDermott won?

He is worst in the league among active coaches. Needs to fire his consultants. -
Lets hope they can find their "spirit" in the game checks they cash every week win or lose.

Pay attention to where they made their yards. Up the middle at the linebacker you all love. -
Tampa considering releasing Antonio Brown

I am considering becoming a rich and buying a yacht. I have a feeling both my consideration, and Tampa Bay's consideration will end up the same way. A whole lot of nothing. -

Christian McCaffrey out for the season
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I took Josh in the first round, and the guy who took CMC took me to task big time. -
Watching the Patriots yesterday they are patient and efficient. I think the X Factor for the Bills Monday night could be Beasley. The Patriots defensive line is aggressive and Josh cant hold the ball as long as he has been. Getting the ball out quick will be important, and that usually means Beasley. Mixing in some RB screens will be important as well. Huge game, cannot wait!

One guy is a draft pick with three cheap years left on his contract after this year. The other guy is an impending free agent who has struggled with ball security. They are going to mix Stevenson in to see if he can be the guy next year because they are up against the cap and would rather not have to resign the other guy.

You can disagree all you want, but there is data that shows Quarterbacks who run more are not more likely to be injured, see below. Quarterbacks that Run Most are Not Injured Most These same stats have been used time and time again by local analysts to dispute the idea that Josh needs to "run less." Josh is more likely to be injured by tacking a sack than he is on a designed run.

What players are true draft busts under Beane?
thenorthremembers replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. Taylor looked like the second coming of Adrian Peterson hoing into that draft and had been doing it for years. Looked like a cant miss. -
I think youre overblowing the amount of times our wideouts have to make circus catches. Theyve dropped plenty of routine plays lately. And when called on to make circus catches or at some point turn a five yard gain into a 20 yard gain they should be doing that as well.

The Bills need to look into drafting a #2 wideout this year. Need youth at the position and hopefully someone with speed and reliable hands.

Again the offense is just off....
thenorthremembers replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cody Ford and Ike Boettger are the starting Guards. Zack Moss has no business being in the NFL, outside of maybe a goal line back. Two of our three wideouts are over 32 years old, and one is breaking down physically. The Offensive Coordinator thinks he has Superman at QB so he relies on him to do everything, and thats working less in less. For the purposes of Josh's career, I sincerely hope the Bills figure out how to implement a balanced offense.
