  1. You know by my user name that I love this stuff!
  2. I think the Schoop and gambling thing is just the new addiction in his long line of addictions where he spends money. First it was sports cards, then alcohol, now gambling. Bulldog has the same thing. First he was a runner, then a craft beer drinking record collector, then a punk rock guitar player, now a punk rock guitar playing cyclist. I dont think its that unusual for people to go through phases in their lives. I suppose we all do. However, part of me thinks both of them are aging hipsters who are just a little cooler and more intelligent than everyone else.
  3. Thought the same thing. With seats still available, they are trying to slow down sales on the secondary market.
  4. Spent a lot of nights eating Jim's after playing shows in Buffalo. Amazed they are closing that early.
  5. It depends on what the Raiders are aiming for. If they are looking for a year or two of stability where they can go at best 9-8, then yeah go ahead an keep him. But I think their playoff run has more to do with Indianapolis having Carson Wentz at Quarterback, and Lamar Jackson being hurt. Looking at their schedule for next year I think they are at best a 6 or 7 win team. As such, I wouldnt offer the guy any sort of long term contract to only have to pay him to eventually not coach the team once he is fired. The Raiders should be looking at long term sustainable success, and I dont think he is the guy to bring that to the team. Personally I'd find someone else.
  6. I agree. I thought for sure he'd be in play for the Raiders, but with them making the playoffs its less likely. Dont see him as a fit with the Dolphins but the Bears job makes a lot of sense.
  7. As a Bills' fan I am mentally preparing myself to see Daboll go to the Dolphins. The hire makes too much sense. He has worked with both Chris Grier, and Tua at times during his career. Moreover, hiring him away from the Bills hurts an in division rival.
  8. He played a bit when Bates when out two weeks ago but otherwise dude hasnt been on the field most of the season.
  9. The team is owned by a 99 year old woman, he was lucky he wasnt offered a nickel and some yummy hard candies.
  10. I think the second the looked into GM interviews it became readily apparent no one new was going to work with Joe Judge. The Giants are 66% there, now get rid of Danny Dimes and you have the clean sweep. Well done Giants.
  11. The issue with Howard is he went from being a regular neurotic guy on the outside looking in at celebrity to a neurotic celebrity. He got the hot wife, the therapist, and the celebrity friends and his show became bad.
  12. Feel like this was posted awhile back?
  13. I agree. Joe B keeps pounding on the table saying "You cant release Beasley because he is a zone beating expert." He is also going to be 33 years old in April. Has 300 less yard this year than last year, on the same number of catches, and looks like he is outta gas. Not to mention the distractions. Time to move on. Too old, too slow, and too expensive.
  14. For all the circus catches Gabe Davis makes his catch ratio is exactly what Dawson Knox's was when he was getting killed on this board. Its not surprising to me that Josh's percentage has went down later in the season, especially when you have a #2 wideout going 3 for 14 on targets.
  15. I am not a Flores fan, but if they had the stones to fire him they must have confidence they can make a big hire. Part of me wonders if they will try and swing a Dabo/Watson reunion.
  16. I would guess the guys who get bonus money when they make it. I havent watched one in forever, but I imagine the players do care to an extent.
  17. Please go away. The worst part is you could literally see in his eyes he wasnt ready. Cant recall seeing that in a game before. My wife said He looks scared.
  18. For the long timers, I recall snow when I was a kid, but was the wind like this in the old days? Feels like this is new but maybe its just more of a story?
  19. Agreed but they have to revisit it in the offseason. Bass has had a much better season with him as the holder, but it shouldnt be that hard to find a punter that does both well.
  20. Feel like Biememy may be in play for the Broncos. Colorado alum, has some ties to the current GM as well.
  21. Im not sure how Culley did as well as he has with that roster and those qbs.
  22. Its fine if he goes to the games but why he is on the field is another story altogether.
  23. He had a strip sack of Tannehill 4 or so years ago that was one of the best defensive efforts Ive ever seen. Good on ya Jerry.
