  1. Great example is when be beat the Pats 31 to 0 to start the season and they won the SB
  2. Not sure the accuracy of this source, but Bengals total revenue in 2022 rose 9% to $501 million last year, according to Sportico. That still ranks last in the NFL. But the team's operating profit jumped to $137 million ranking 11th.
  3. That amount is more than the entire team salary cap of 1994 NFL Salary Cap History 2023: $224,800,000 2022: $208,200,000 2021: $182,500,000 2020: $198,200,000 2019: $188,200,000 2018: $177,200,000 2017: $167,000,000 2016: $155,270,000 2015: $143,280,000 2014: $133,000,000 2013: $123,600,000 2012: $120,600,000 2011: $120,375,000 2010: Uncapped 2009: $123,000,000 2008: $116,000,000 2007: $109,000,000 2006: $102,000,000 2005: $85,500,000 2004: $80,582,000 2003: $75,007,000 2002: $71,101,000 2001: $67,405,000 2000: $62,172,000 1999: $57,288,000 1998: $52,388,000 1997: $41,454,000 1996: $40,753,000 1995: $37,100,000 1994: $34,608,000
  4. Why would we trade a draft pick for a young, unproven, untested QB who would come in right before the season and be totally unfamiliar with the playbook. That draft pick we give up could be a MLB or OT They don't look good, but bottom line is we are most likely going w/ Barkley and Kyle Allen as our backup QB's
  5. I post mine for sale on the forum but generally get almost no responses so end up selling via NFL ticket exchange If the moderator cannot delete, please delete your listing when outdated
  6. or bring him back as GM
  7. It is insane that Stubhub and TM charge fees to BOTH buyer and seller With TM you used to be able to select a few sections and then see all the tix available. Now you have to select each little dot on a seat to see the prices - so hard to find seats No Idea why Websites REMOVE functionality. I really believe that the website developers never actually USE their sites to see how it works for real people As a side note: I have 8 seats for all Games that I usually sell - Sec 111 Row 7 and Row 14 so DM me if interested. Tix are $$$ but no fees
  8. Wow - "“It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was.”"
  9. Section 111 Row 7 seats 19-22 on the aisle on the 50 Row 14 seats 13-16 around the 45 DM if interested
  10. Burrow alone will be over $50 mil per year
  11. I know someone who was part owner of a MILS team years ago. There was an international player who had horrible teeth so they paid $30K for hist dental work and kept it out of the salary cap
  12. never heard of him either - it can't be possible that he is the best 87 we have ever had! Just looked him up - played in 1960 and 1961. RIP 2015
  13. For future reference, ESPY tickets are available for general purchase thought ticket outlets for about $75 It is not like the Oscars where you have to be someone or know someone to get in I have gone a number of times and there are a ton of players milling about before and after that you can meet
  14. Got six and donated them to Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Erie county
  15. A bit of a surprise that Elbert Dubenion is tied for 5th Just looked at his stats - in 1964 he caught 42 passes for 1,139 yards and 10 TD's - an insane 27.1 yards per reception The 3rd highest all - time in NFL History
  16. It would be interesting to see what the Avg was for some of the great QB's of past eras. One reason QB's throw so many more TD's now than in the 70's or 80's is that teams always ran the ball inside the 10.
  17. Around 5 years he "lead the charge" before the game I happened to be seated next to him on the plane back to LA and saw him showing the video of it I met him 2 other times once at the Rose bowl where he took a pic with my son Generally a very friendly and approachable person
  18. His most significant contribution was being traded to get us another 1st round pick to get JA
  19. On NFL.com it said "Bills put TE on IR" - My first thought was that it was Knox's injury
  20. That was the first regular season Bills game my Dad took me to - we had 3 pick sixes
  21. https://fanbuzz.com/nfl/tallest-nfl-player/ "the Cincinnati Bengals selected 7'0" Richard Sligh in an expansion draft. Sligh, who played for the Raiders in 1967, was the tallest player in NFL history." https://fanbuzz.com/nfl/tallest-nfl-player/ "the Cincinnati Bengals selected 7'0" Richard Sligh in an expansion draft. Sligh, who played for the Raiders in 1967, was the tallest player in NFL history."
  22. on NFL network they said something along the lines of the rest of the leagues should be ashamed that they let JA get Dalton Kincaid
  23. Many years ago, the draft was not a spectacle - no tickets or reservations were required - and was held at the Marriott hotel in NYC I happened to be in NYC in 1989 at the time of the draft and just walked in for part of the 3rd round, just in time for the Bills to draft Don Beebe Was pretty boring as there was nothing to do/see between picks - no videos / highlights / interviews ...
  24. Probably because the best players are the ones who leave early and don't need another year to prove themselves
