I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
warrior9 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't believe this is debatable. Fantasy football has ruined peoples outlooks on real football. They literally left cooper by himself, ran 4x1's and countered to his side on Cooks TD run. It left Dawson knox wide open several times. People who don't see his addition as value are just smooth brain, stat couch QBs -
To rest or not to rest the starters, that is the question

Division games are never easy. I agree. -

They needed a last minute drive to beat Mac Jones...... -
Al-Shaair suspended 3 games will miss Chiefs game of course
warrior9 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
So you’re just going to forget about the other times he was a scumbag? Or the fact that after this happens he pulled another guy down by his face mask? Or when he was ejected he took his helmet off and started more issues? got it. What a bunch of “foo foo pansy crap” we should def keep him in the game. Maybe… JUST MAYBE read the reasons why he was suspended first bubba. -
I thought Rapp played excellent, Rapp has been pretty damn good this year. He is wayyy more versatile than I thought he would be based on his play last year.

UFL considering expansion. Would Buffalo watch spring football?
warrior9 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Especially for what I can imagine the seats/games will cost in the new Bills stadium. -
Blitz and spy, make him get rid of ball early (I'm guessing is the approach?) I'd have to see how often we're blitzed. Yes, now this off-season, we go get a speed guy. That's why I was so against drafting Worthy this go around. We needed a #1 first before we get a guy like that. If we already had Cooper on the team, I would have been all for Worthy. Now we have 2 big bodies outside, Shakir on the inside.. our next addition needs to be a speed guy, whether we resign Coop or not.

I've been adamant that he knows how to draft.... he absolutely does (I live in Dallas and combat ppl all the time on this)... His issue has and always will be his ego and his unwillingness to part ways with bad head coaches. Garrett was there 5 years too long, McCarthy is there 2 years too long. His ego being an issue is the CeeDee/ Dak extensions this year. Wait until week 1 is unacceptable. Until this year, he's recently done a great job of singing / letting guys go too (in FA).

Terrel Bernard Defensive Player of the Week!
warrior9 replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have to give you props. One of the few that is wrong on draft night that comes around and owns it. Kudos. I had no feelings about him other than he was undersized. Read a lot about how people hated the pick. Didn't he have a big play in his pre season debut IIRC? Like a fumble for a TD or something? Or was that Spector? I remember the view being similar on both of them (for different reasons). -
The media is so out of touch with this Bills team: Bleacher Report
warrior9 replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was talking about this year. Even if Milano comes back and doesn't play well, does Williams really worry you? I just don't see LB as a top 3 need on this team. McDermott has proven that regardless of who is at LB, they fundamentally play good football. -
Bleach Report put out an article of NFL Team needs and every rosters biggest weaknesses before week 12. Here is what they mention are the Bills biggest weaknesses IN ORDER: 1.) Edge Rusher 2.) Corner Back ----- L O L 3.) Linebacker ---- L O L 4.) Interior Defensive Line 5.) Safety In what world does someone watch this Bills team and think "Yep, they need corners and linebacker help." I can get on board with Edge being a need simply due to lack of sack numbers (i guess?). Safety and IDL should be 1 and 2 no doubt. It just goes to show that these outlets look at names on a roster and make their guesses. It's mind blowing.

100%. I'm always reluctant with anointing a good QB year 1, since RG3. Josh is proof you dont have to be great year 1 (and Bo Nix is taking a similar approach) .. I'm very VERY hesitant on Jayden Daniels too. Tears up meh teams, his numbers over last 2 weeks are down almost 150 YPG against steelers/ eagles. Stroud was good last year... but then put himself in top 5.... Confidence is fine, running your mouth and being arrogant is not. Just ask Caleb Williams.
-
His drops are very worrisome, regardless of his role. I think he would objectively have the worst hands on this team, right now..... (knox close second)
-
Last few weeks, it's definitely looked like Stroud is the one who needs those elite receivers.... Media won't talk about that though.

Benford, Bernard & Shakir…re-sign all of them?
warrior9 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope we resign Shakir soon or his price tag will be in the high teens or 20's after next year. I think we can get Shakir in the 12-16 range if we resign soon. Bernard probably looking at 15-20 per. Benford probably in the 20-23 per. -
Bills Exposed 2023 Eagles and Now, 2024 Chiefs

This... and Hurts is not Mahomes. -
What's the irony?
-
I mean, did you not see the screen he turned in to a first down on the first drive on third and 9? I believe that first down set the tone for the game. We're so much better just without Gabe, in general.
-
She is on TV a total of 15 seconds a game......... I'm sick of her too but the whole "she's always on TV" thing is so untrue..... There is a pie chart that breaks it down... it's literally 15 seconds a game. MAYBE

We are literally 9-2 and have the best start in over 30 years yet people are trying to complain and find something wrong with the best football player in the NFL that happens to be our QB... it's actually insane.

This was suppose to be a rebuild year
warrior9 replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, i mean when you have JA, rebuilding doesn't exist. Chiefs lost 4 starters on offense (at skill position) and are undefeated. An offense goes as it's OL and QB go. Luckily we have 17 -

warrior9 replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
100000%. For some reason people thought getting rid of old, aging players meant we were going to 'rebuild.' I think this was more of a fan(and TBD) thing than a Bills thing. My initial thought was "Ok, new pieces, we will probably struggle a little bit for 6 weeks and then as continuity happens we'll start to roll." Thankfully, I was wrong on that. I never thought rebuild but more so, "growing pains" early this year. -
Who’s the best Left Tackle you have ever watched?
warrior9 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% man. The game has evolved as have the athletes playing the game due to science, training, supplements, recovery, etc etc etc. I mean shoot Jalen Carter is 6'4 320 or something and ran a 4.8 40.. That's just absurd. To the point of the OP, Larry Allen kind of paved the way for big athletic guys to just pull, maul, move, etc people. He was truly unbelievable. Joe Thomas is probably the best "technical" LT of all time though... just my opinion. -

warrior9 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really true, there were a lot of legends recently as well. Joe Thomas is one of if not the best LT to ever play and saying he's better than Larry Allen is a REALLY big long shot (i know Allen was primary guard but he did play LT as well).
