  1. Well it's not one game. He was great at the end of last year and was very good in the Jets game. Again, you don't win in this league by paying RBs. it's the offensive line. If you win by paying RBs, why do none of the highest paid RBs have a SB ring? Not a single one. AP, LT, Derrick Henry, Le'Veon Bell, McCaffery, Zeke (when he was with Cowboys), Chubb, etc etc etc ....
  2. He really is MASSSSSIVE. I agree with you, I think he won a lot but of course Watt is going to get his.
  3. Ahhh right to try and insult me because you have no comeback for a god awful take and lack of knowledge as a whole. It’s ok bubbaccino.
  4. LOL kid can't even get on the field.. you're also comparing a kid that went to KC as a 5th round pick ... to a 1st round pick in a pass happy offense.. your takes keep getting worse and worse. Was the same thread... going back to your god awful takes about Johnston
  5. That fair but Payton was not someone who just "turned Brees around" he was a stud and a very good QB before NO... the only issue was the uncertainty of his shoulder prior to the surgery.
  6. That is absolutely false. Drew Brees was VERY good before he went to the Saints. Unless you think that 11-4 3200 yards 27 TDs and 7 INT's in 2004 isn't successful. He quite literally received 5 OPOY award votes lol
  7. Ohhhh the guy that didn't want to leave Detroit? Yeah... let's go force him to leave.
  8. This has to be joke....... How many times do people need to see it to believe it? Few things: 1.) Cook is an every down back 2.) You don't pay RBs. No team has paid their starting RB more than 2M in the last 15 years. It doesn't work. You pay an OL 3.) JT had a great rookie year with the best OL in football. They regressed last year and so did he. He is also coming off of an injury 4.) JT is not an elite back. 5.) Stop chasing names because of 1 good year. @NastyNateSoldiers please see this post to further my point.. it's not the RBs... it's the OL
  9. You're probably REALLLY fun at parties.... full of positivity and excitement
  10. Did you read the boards last week? LOL If not, good move on your part my friend.
  11. Like I was saying man, people and their obsession with RBs on this board never cease to amaze me. Couple that with a loss people can't even think straight.
  12. We need one of these for Cook.......
  13. You were saying? The amount of overreaction on this board after a loss is hilarious... "we're going to miss singletary" HAHAHAHAHA Singletary this year: 7 carries 15 yards 2.1 YPC and 4 carries 14 yards...... 3.5 YPC... damn, that's some production we can REALLLLY use
  14. 43 of his 46 yards still came after contact last week.
  15. Where does this fall on Cook.....? It doesn't. This is further proof that he wasn't the issue and actually garnered more than he should have? What is your point here? You are all over the place. He had 3.8 yards per carry with blocking that stinks because he got all of his yards AFTER contact.... much better than mediocre. He didnt get "some yards" after contact.. he got basically ALL of his yards after contact.
  16. Ok, 43 of his 46 yards came after contact...... anything else?
  17. It's probably not but for all the people that don't like James Cook or think we need to upgrade: Cook actually ranked eighth at the RB position in avoided tackle rate and earned 43 of 46 rushing yards after contact last week. The notion he doesn't avoid tacklers is nonsense. So hopefully a lot of 12 and a lot of featuring of him, again
  18. This guy clearly doesnt watch the games. Josh Allen is putting too much on himself and trying to do too much. He had receiver's open all game AND he had time to throw.
  19. Yeah I like Dan O too. How good you were doesnt mean you cant coach / know what you're doing.. there are plenty of coaches that weren't successful in the NFL or shoot, even made it in the NFL (our coach). But to be very honest, now that people have calmed down a litttttttttle, the loss was the best thing for the Bills. Josh needs to realize he isnt going to get wins or things handed to him because he's Josh Allen. I think over the next few weeks, Josh will propel himself into the MVP conversation. He needed a wake up call.
  20. LOL it's deceiving to these people even if you put out a FACT... You can't reason with people who clamor for big names for no other reason that to have a big name. JT was below average when his line was below average last year.. just like every single RB in the NFL and NFL history. You pay linemen and your QB.. not your RB ... as history shows. People think that the Bills paying an RB is going to somehow change that narrative.
  21. They also had Tom Brady and a great OL. They still didn't pay them, no matter what anyone says, no team wins paying running backs.. numbers and history do not lie. Kirby Smart? you're comparing the NFL to a team that has 5 5* RB's on their team that play against less competition? Also, James Cook isn't a tackle breaker, he never has been and never will be. You people and your love for RB's is astonishing. Ask yourself, how many Superbowls does Walter Payton, AP, Barry Sanders, etc etc etc have? Good try, it was 2M on the button when they won and anyway, Ronald Jones was their starter per the team website, depth chart, etc. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/tam/2020_roster.htm LOL people and their RB's.. it's so crazy that people want to spend money on a play that is disposable instead of spending that 15M on another linemen... then it wont matter who is at RB.. James Cook is averaging 6YPC since week 14 or so of last year. He is hardly the problem
  22. Please see “starting RB” he was not the starter.
