NFL will look at the fumble-out-of-end-zone rule

Not with fantasy football and betting being as big as it is. I sincerely believe that is a main reason for this discussion. -
Al Michaels out for NFL playoffs on NBC in move he wasn't expecting
warrior9 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easy to fall off when you have the WORST games for 2 straight years and your play by play guy is …. No where near good enough for the NFL. Kirk calls NFL games like college games and I’m a HUGE Kirk fan for college… he’s just below average for the NFL. -
Is there an official update on Daquan yet?
warrior9 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's untrue. They activated Knox and he played the same week. We will know if they activate him tomorrow. I'm not holding out hope, again, just going off of what I was told from a family member. -
Is there an official update on Daquan yet?
warrior9 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t claim to have inside info. I work with a guy, asked where I was from (on a holiday work party) and he said he cousin is DaQuan Jones. He saw DaQuan during the bye week or week before. Said DaQuan was bummed about the injury because he knows he was playing at All-Pro level. He said DaQuan was targeting the Dallas game to return. I said “oh damn so a few weeks, yeah?” He said “yeah, he’s feeling good and wants to play again.” again, that’s all I can offer. Whether it’s true or not will be told in time.- 81 replies

do NOT bring Josh's waist in to this. He is really trying to stay in shape.

Leonard Floyd is what Von Miller was supposed to be
warrior9 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
and we should be getting Daquan Jones back here within a few weeks. Disclaimer: I work with his cousin who was in Dallas for a work holiday party. We got to talking about football and DaQuan was visiting family on the bye week, said Cowboys game was his target. I can't verify other than his cousin telling me that. That would be huge -
That's another McD thing that I absolutely despise. "Let's not use rookies too early... make them EARN it."

This.. Ty Johnson is also faster than him as well. I think Lenny will stay on the PS with the emergence of Ty Johnson

Burrow wouldn't be missing the play offs. He had his team absolutely rolling and was well on the way to the play offs before his injury.

This a joke? Hamlin is absolutely horrid.

I do not hate TCU, you just have a weird hard on for them. I am a realist and I watched them play in person twice last year. Just because they win very close games does not make them "FAR" better than everyone. Again, they won a lot of VERY close games so they were not far better than everyone. No rational person would look at their win margins last year and say "far better" Your mind is so colluded with TCU last year that you legit thought Quentin Johnston would be the best receiver in the draft.

Would McDermott Ever Hire a Defensive Coordinator?
warrior9 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
My worry with this, just like the offense... even if he does, his influence will be allllll over it. He just can't help his conservative nature. Winning the game? Run the clock out... Winning the game? soft cover 2 He doesn't coach to win... he coaches not to lose. He can bring in Rex Ryan and still find a way to make it a conservative defense up by 10 in the 4th. It hasnt suffered... he's always been this bad. -
And we did just fine without him. If he wants to come off the field, should the coaches make him stay on the field?
-
No they were just third downs early on. As an above poster mentioned, he signaled to come off. Him coming off on those third downs didn't affect us negatively IIRC.

Which WR prospect will the Bengals screw us out of?

Whoever suggested we drafted Quentin Johnston this past draft should stay absolutely quiet. -
8th late-game defensive meltdown this season
warrior9 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
His team is losing more often, hence he throws more.. Herbert isn't elite until he wins. Josh has won every year minus his first and this (and this year is still TBD). They've tried multiple HC's, multiple OC's etc because Herbert is "elite" and no one can win with him? Ok.... tell me more. -
8th late-game defensive meltdown this season
warrior9 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except for the fact that Herbert has done nothing to be anointed “elite.” He’s a media darling because he’s tall and throws the ball far. He has won nothing and doesn’t have the wins/ stats of an elite QB. Traits? Sure. So do a lot of QBs. Josh has been in the MVP running, he’s been to the AFCCG. He’s won 3 division titles in a row. Herbert can’t sniff that and I can’t believe people still think this guy is elite. -
It wouldn't have mattered who the head coach was is. They mortgaged their entire future to draft the wrong QB and everyone knows who the coaching staff wanted. You can't bring in a fragile QB like that trade away his only weapon AND picks to build a team and expect to win. They were an FCS team playing FBS every week. Tepper mortgaged the future at the opposition of his staff and he scapegoated the HC, it's pathetic really.. Similar to McDermott here, scapegoated the OC only to give up 40 on defense.

If I were to guess, they had ran that play and assumed the defense was in ZC. Motioning Diggs gets another blocker at the POA but seems like Jets either audibled or were disguised and in man.

Would you today trade places with Texans fans?

I am here and it's not bad at all? I don't understand? I, for one, really enjoy no income tax. Just for clarification: I would not trade spots at all. I think CJ Stroud's play right now is not going to last. I'm just trying to understand the Texas hate as a location to live.
