  1. I'm not sure Xavien Howard, Marlon Humphrey, Gilmore, etc are better than him.
  2. Tre continues to get no respect. He isn't flashy, he doesn't make big hits, he doesn't talk on social media... he just goes out and performs. The great thing is, that's the culture that's been built within the organization and I absolutely love it.
  3. I've been racking my brain on "Neslon" for a about 5 minutes. Why can't I figure out who that is? ...... Also, I have a hard time believing Myles Garrett won't be in the top 10. My top 10 in no particular order (that I think they'll put in there) : Rodgers, Mahomes, Donald, Allen, Garrett, Diggs, Adams, Brady, Henry, I'm stuck on 10 between Watt, Matthieu, Kelce
  4. To be fair, we need players of his skillset. He's more of a "bulldozer" and we need better run blocking. I think if he can improve upon his pass blocking, there's zero chance he doesnt start unless Lamp is just that much better. I'm higher on Lamp than a lot of folks though. Exactly. we're not in a bad position, competition wise, on the OL
  5. If he's traded or cut that means Lamp outplayed him. I'd be ok with that
  6. If you watch a lot of Diggs routes, they were definitely timed in routes, comebacks, hitches, etc. He's just soooo good at the top of his routes. I think when Josh says "get open, i'll find you" it's more of when a play breaks down, be creative, get open. He also did that NUMEROUS times, obviously.
  7. Every time I watch Josh Allen highlights I come away thinking "Jeeeeez Cole Beasley is reallllly friggin good" And after watching this, it was no different but my additional thought was, "wow, he had to run out of pressure a LOT" It didn't seem that way during live action, really.
  8. Something I've thought about: Let's say his TFL and Sacks from his freshman year drop from 19 and 15.5 respectively to 15 and 12.5 (or something in that area) last year IF he played and didn't sit out. Even given the drop in numbers from Freshman year to Sophomore year, he would have been in the conversation for a top 10 pick, i'd assume... right? I don't think the guy actually likes Wade. I think he'd doing this in the 1% chance he does make the roster he can say "I've been on him from the beginning.... told you so!"
  9. Ummmmm.... Kamara is 41, Humphrey is 44, the list goes on. Might be the dumbest comment I ever did see.
  10. I really hope we don't cut D. Johnson. Love what he does on special teams and he is actually a pretty solid player. He played at a small school and has still been learning the NFL game/speed. He plays with a high motor and it seems like this staff likes him a lot. My hope is that: One, both, or all three (the rookies and D Johnson) outperform Addison in camp. D Johnson can be on this roster for a while longer while Addison has 1 year left.
  11. So, Clyde Edwards- Helaire? Pretty much the same size and Patterson is a little faster than him. If you can play you can play. In any case, I don't think he was drafted because he played in the MAC and had a dominant offensive line. The other RB had numbers that were just as good
  12. Shows what they think of Love. If you truly believe he is the heir apparent and QB of the future. You take the 3rd overall pick, keep your other 1st round pick, and begin to build around him. Take Kyle Pitts at 3, now you have Adams and Pitts. I think them turning this trade down shows they don't think Love is ready. To be absolutely fair, I think Rodgers is the best QB to ever grace a football field and he's still currently the best playing. However, if you truly believe Love is your guy, this could set you up for 10 years and not have to deal with Rodgers contract yearly for the next 4-6.
  13. After watching that video, I came away with thinking "Damn, Beasley is REALLLLLY good at finding space." He's just such a great zone beater. When you go back and watch it really shows how valuable he is.
  14. Well it technically would be a 6year deal. He has this year, his 5th year option, THEN the new money deal.
  15. I looked around for a thread on this. Didn't see one on the article, just prediction threads. 4 years, 168 Mill. 78 guaranteed. Sounds about right. This puts him ahead of Watson and behind Mahomes. Below is the article. https://www.spotrac.com/research/nfl/projecting-josh-allens-contract-extension-1198/
  16. I agree with this. He didn't take a "step back" he was asked to "do more" He didn't show up as much on the stat sheet but I thought he played pretty well.
  17. Aaron Schobel I don't know why, I always thought he was overrated because he was a decent player on a bad team. Just as a player, unsure about as a human.
  18. Sorry, it was their combined time in NY in those 2 years. Darnold didn't start all games Anderson caught passes for.
  19. Right, but this isn't college. I think this just makes the NFL look elementary. That's just my opinion, though. I'm sure people don't mind it.
  20. Basically, they want more players to be able to wear single digits and teens, (CBs, TEs, WR, DB, RB, etc)
  21. Yeah. It's not necessarily about the numbers per se but the integrity of the "professional" side of football. It's helped to identify personnel. Even in pre-season when I saw this, I thought it looked so elementary and so un- uniformed (if that's a word).
  22. I mean, their weapons are veryyy solid. They do need a TE and to sure up their OL. When Darnold threw to Anderson his last year in NY, he had 88 completions, 88.5 completion%, 1,341 yards, 11 TDs, and 21 completions over 20+ yards. DJ Moore is a very talented receiver as well and obviously they have CMC. I don't think it's about them believing they're a QB away, I believe it's about them building for the long term. It's hard to be passionate about football playing for Gase. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Tannehil type turn around in some capacity. Maybe not that extent but I wouldn't be surprised. If they go get Jamar Chase at 8, suddenly they have Joe Brady, Darnold, 4 weapons, and one of whom was one of the best receivers in college playing for Brady.
