  1. He didn't sell jerseys because he was good. He sold jerseys because of his story. He's an average to below average safety.
  2. I love Zay flowers and I think he's going to be a stud in the NFL. Only problem, we drafted KS last year and they play the same position and are very similar skill sets. You can never have too many of these guys but we're not in a position to load up on slot WR's, in my opinion.
  3. I'm not ready to give up on him yet. Like someone else + OP pointed out: SOLID rookie year with insane raw talent. It was to the point where when he didn't play, we panicked. Back Surgery, no off-season, second year (sophomore slump, potentially.. not using this as a 'real excuse') and then yeah, he regressed a little. This season will be huge for him and I think he knows it.
  4. No that makes too much sense. But yes, it's an offensive league and we use a lot of high draft picks on defensive players under this regime... I dont think that can be debated. Sure, we can draft 4 WR's in rounds 4-7.... but how many are sticking?
  5. I'm not a Michigan fan. It's been 3 posts prior to yours... what are you talking about dude LOL. When someone posts about him, I input my opinion which is what you do on a message board... Hmmm my cluelessness on Big 12, this year I went to a game at Baylor, OK St, OU(because I lived in Norman for football season), and TCU.... good try again bubba. I think your hardness for the Big12 is absolutely hilarious. You love this Johnston kid and he has done nothing special and not a single play he made, made you go "WOW! Great play" Cool, he catches and runs fast....... so does everyone in the NFL. So did JJ Arcega Whiteside. So did Laquon Treadwell My other favorite was "He WaS a OnE mAn ShOw" while Duggan had 3700 yards and 32 TDs while Johnston barely scratched 1k yards 6 TDs.. but yeah, IM the clueless one. Zay Flowers will have an infinitely better career than Johnston and it wont be close. A guy that actually was a one man show, didnt have a heisman QB
  6. Which is why he wants that guarantee money and the Raven's are smart and not budging. Idk who will play running back for them if he doesn't return though.
  7. AHHHHH it makes sense now. You just hate the SEC hahahahahahahahaha
  8. Check the Big 12 schedules and you'll see why they are in the top 30. So you're telling me... you watched him for 3 seasons.... and you think he has the same skill as Justin Jefferson? MY LORD..... he had 163 yards against Michigan... one was a 80 yard catch and run on a drag where he wasn't touched.. he does NOTHING great.. .He wasn't the the LONE WR on that team.. he barely had 1000 yards and Duggan had 3700 passing yards. He rarely makes contested catches... he's a one trick pony. He's as stiff as a board. Go find one catch he makes that you're like 'YES, THIS IS JUSTIN JEFFERSON!' and post it here. I watched probably 10 games of his.. I live in DFW
  9. Ok, so how much do you want to pay him? Or do you just build a very strong offensive line and do what every other team that has won a Super Bowl over 15 years has done? You build an offensive line and the person carrying the rock can be an undrafted FA. Please see the data provided. This guys name has been brought up so much and the only people that like him are the people that havent seen him play. He is very stiff, he doesnt do anything great. He had 6 TDs in a conference that doesnt play defense. He doesn't out jump anyone, he isn't physical ... he's a fast guy in a spread offense... he's a Kevin White... If this guy reminds you of Justin Jefferson, you REALLLLLY need to reevaluate what youre looking at.. they couldn't be further from each other.
  10. go look at the salary of the RB's of any team that won the super bowl in the last 12 years.. the most was 2 million. You dont win in this league by paying RB's. File is too big so I'll help out 2022- Pacheco-870,000 2021- Cam Akers- 890,000 2020- Fournette- 2M 2019-Damien Willians 1,050,000 2018- Sony Michel- 480,000 2017/16- Blount- 900,000 and 760,000 2015-CJ Anderson- 585,000 2014- Blount- 730,000 2013-Harvin- 2.5M 2012-Ray Rice- 2M 2011- Bradshaw-1.5M 2010-Starks - 320,000 You dont win by paying RB's.... an RB is only as good as his OL
  11. Yeah definitely. Nothing to do with our defense that game. I now understand you don’t understand football.
  12. Yeah? how did that work down the stretch? You're telling me watching those games, you felt comfortable with the defense? LOL talk about asinine comments (we were number 4)
  13. Yeah I don't disagree. I was more or less just defending him as an infinitely better coach than his brother. Maybe...Rex's scheme of heavy man and blitz will be BETTER? in todays game. It's absolutely a risk for them to take since he hasn't been coaching in 7 years and the game has changed a lot. Again, don't disagree. Like I said, being an HC and balancing that with being a coordinator is not easy and MOST fail. He wasn't an exception, unfortunately. If you fast forward to today. We have a top 5 defense but.... what does that even mean? That defense FELT like a bottom 10 defense this year.
  14. I don't love Rex Ryan or even like him but he's literally 10x the coach his brother is. He was an excellent coordinator and you can't take that away from him. PLENTY of people are better coordinators than HC's.
  15. Johnson doesnt have any kind of finesse.. he's incredibly stiff. Watch a full game of his. White was a one year wonder? Johnston has 600 receiving yards last year. He had 6 TDs in both years. In a spread offense in a conference that plays ZERO defense. He's far from a stud.
  16. Quinten Johnson is going to be over drafted. He's incredibly stiff, does nothing great and doesn't have good ball skills. If you want a WR#1, you stay as far away from him as possible. He is Kevin White 2.0
  17. I meant he will be those two in terms of pedigree, not type of players. Exactly. Johnson does nothing spectacular. When you watch him play, there wasn't one time I was like "WOW, he's good." Cool, he took a drag 80 yards to the crib against Michigan..... it was a drag route.
  18. Ew, he's stiff, a system guy and will be like a Jaelen Raeger / Kevin White type in the NFL. Will be WAYYYYY over drafted.
  19. "But McDermott stepped up, man, he did. He got in front of the team, and he said we’re not playing, period. He said no matter what the outcome is, we’re not playing. And that might not sound like a lot, but it’s a lot. Because right then, that’s permission to be a person. Not a player — a person. Trust me there’s a difference." I love this team and our leaders.
  20. 11.) Playoff Gabe returns.
  21. He's regressed? Do you watch football?
  22. Dalton Kincaid is going to be special. Every time I watched Utah, your eyes are just drawn to how good he is. He also blocks like a tackle. he's my favorite player in the draft this year.
  23. Joey Bosa gets hurt waking up in the morning.
  24. Potentially, his teams have always been decimated by injuries and they win.. so kudos to him. I think him getting canned is going to be more about Payton and less about him.
